I went to Bolders in Midrand, I bought adidas sneakers on the 30.06.22,i left Gauteng the same night and came back on the 06.07.22. Went to the store today and requested for a smaller size and a receipt reprint and complaint of the quality of the item. Terrible service i received i was told that getting the receipt and exchange won't be possible. I need to know what act is studio 88 following? What will CPA say about the service you guys are giving consumers. I want my money or this will go to CPA and Ombudsman. Why are you guys employing managers who knows nothing about customer service, I had to drive from Brakpan just to get a terrible service. I need this matter resolved

Fraudulent sale
So I bought Superga for R1100 at Studio 88 Alberton city, I asked the guy for size 6 and half
When I got home the size it was just size 6 and couldn’t fit, a day after I went back to ask for correct size apparently they don’t have, so I asked this guy why at 1st did he give me incorrect size…. he said he made a mistake
So now there’s no size I want refund still they don’t want they tell me to come back Monday

Today I sent my driver to return 4 items for me that my sister purchased on the 18th of May 22. Samu, the store manager told my driver that they do not do card refunds and there is no cash to do the refund so we must come back later. In the staff's defense they did try and personally assist to the best of their ability however this is a head office issue.
I then called Samu to ask her if Studio88 are paying for the petrol and the wear and tear on my company vehicle to which she replied no. I then called the head office, spoke to the team leader Jason who was of no assistance whatsoever. When I mentioned the consumer council and complaining he told me to take it to where ever I like.
My complaint is that their store policies inconvenience customers who they expect to drive up and down and waste their time and money because they cannot process a refund to which I am legally entitled. This is not acceptable practice by any means.
Desired outcome: To correct their behaviour and ensure you do not inconvenience your consumers. Make sure that you have the necessary means in your store to refund customers and not pass the buck and make it their problem
Studio 88 phoenix plaza
Hi, I have visited the plaza phoenix store of studio88 to purchase a Nike shoe, they did not have my size 8 so the stuff told me that the other store has my size and that I should pay for it, which was Saturday and on Monday the shoe will be at the store I can pick it up, so I agreed and made payment, came Monday I visited the store to pick my shoe up the stuff told me the manager didn't pick the shoe up as yet I should come tomorrow and they will phone me when is at the store, so the next day the stuff phoned me and told me my shoe is at the store and that I should come pick it up i advised him I will be at the store on Wednesday to pick the shoe up, so on Wednesday I went to the store to pick my shoe up the stuff told me that the shoe was sold and he can not find it on the system then advised me that I should come Saturday they will try and get another shoe for me. Am a customer and if I pay for the item it should be kept aside for me because I have already paid for it not put back on the system and then sold to someone else, so to eveer is reading this the customer service from the phoenix Plaza store is very sad

I've been scammed at studio 88 Brits town ,I've bought soft foam optimal comfort puma sneaker which is R799,I've paid cash R600 and had to pay R200 with debit card instead a whole amount of R799 was paid with my card plus the hard cash I had on hand total being R600 +R799,I saw the two cashiers who helped me and I got a witness to the matter ,also the CCTV can be checked ,I'm taking this matter forward .

In December I bought a few items in Brits,1top was small so I wanted to exchange it in January at Hartswater store.They said they cannot refund me as I bought in Brits.I made a laybuy and didn't had enough cash so I only took 1item on the laybuy.The lady that assisted me took the receipt,I asked her if I can exchange if it's small and she said yes.Today I went back to exchange the shoes and was said to come back because the person that assisted me is off,I am very pissed off because I had to came back with the small shoes cause no one else could assist me.
Desired outcome: I don't want anything else from the store,they should just take their shoes back and refund me in full.I want my cash!

My friend went there to purchase sneakers the normal price was R1500 , she was helped by a guy to double check the price as he told her some of the sneakers are on mark down when he scanned for price verification it was R1200 , the two ladies who were scheduled for work yesterday with was the 16/03/2022 then shouted at the guy telling him he scanned using the wrong code ,I was told he lookoked confused as to what the ladies were saying , he told told them he had punched in the correct code , the requested him to double check , my friend end up not buying the sneakers because she could see something is not right. Please take note of your staff and let managers be made aware if your merchandise is on sale markdown prices should be put on , this I a bad reflection to the brand , how are we to trust people that we thought our monies are safe with them . REMBER IF THEY DID THAT IT SIMPLY MEANS IT IS A NORM in all your branches that is how they make extra cash to their own pockets, the guys who was helping was in no way at fault

On Tuesday we walked into your shop in Klerksdorp.. upon arrival none of your staff members acknowledged us . Eventually we requested a shoe in a size 4 which the friend of the size 4 was on the wall . The lady assisting us told us there was no 4 but didn’t even bother to check . I said to her how come there is a 4 on the wall , where is the other 4 of this specific shoe . She said she doesn’t know . I asked her to check for the other 4 as we will come back later to pay for this shoe but in the meantime she must look for the shoe . She said no she can’t because the shoe is not here .
A different staff member then tried to intervene he said all of the staff members in the store are new because the old staff had stolen stuff and took things they weren’t supposed to so now know one in the store knows where anything is . I said to him that is not the customers problem and how could he share information like that with customers that information has got to do with the store not customers . I eventually requested to speak to the regional manager and he must give me his contact details. That is now when the manager intervened, he heard the story and then assisted us . All of a sudden a brand new size 4 appeared which the manager fetched for us . He looked and found it . This store is pathetic, This was my first and last time shopping at this shop . What an experience

I bought a pair of vans shoes at Eastgate mall on the 23rd of December 2021. I went to mall of Tembisa branch for a refund and the manager there referred me back to Eastgate where I bought the shoes. I phoned Eastgate branch spoke to Carl whom said it should not be an issue at which items where bought, mall of Tembisa can refund me. The manager again at mall of Tembisa said he is busy with stock take and his regional told him not to refund any items not purchased from his store. Why am I not been taken serious as a customer. What a poor service. Someone please tell me if Studio 88 policy says refund can only be done at store where items where bought.

On the 18th of December 2021, I purchased a pair of Sam Smith sneakers from Studio 88 in Pavillion. Initially we tried the shoes on and I had asked one of the employees to kindly keep a size 7 in the sneaker aside and the price on the shoe was R999. When I returned back to the store after roughly ten minutes I was handed a damaged box containing the sneakers. I asked for it to be replaced and instead I got a box covered in permanent marker writing as well as a random phone number written across it . At this point I was already tired, the mall was packed, and it took me forever to track down this shoe as a gift, mind you. There was a bit of a pricing issue at the till but the manager was readily able to assist and did so. I must add that it was my very own irresponsibility for not checking the shoes one last time after the box exchange and before leaving the store . During the week while trying to wrap the gift I noticed that the box contained 2 size 7 Stan Smith's but in two different shades of green (see pictures)! I went back to the store on the 26 of December, after not being able to gift the shoes. The lady who assisted me was the same lady who was the cashier at the time of purchase . When i explained to her what had happened, she began checking the system etc ... but refused to communicate with me .. she thereafter proceeded to take the shoe to the back and whilst doing so directly said to me " oh, so you only noticed it was two different shoes after you wore it?!". Now please. Look carefully at the attached photos and tell me do those shoes look used to you?!. The audacity she had. I then replied back saying " No I haven't worn the shoes and how do I wear two different shoes", rudely ignoring me she proceeded to the back. After a few minutes she returned and continued doing things around the store but did not even communicate to me what was going on . In the meanwhile I just stood at the cashier desk at the front of the store. Thank God for the store manager, he came in time to inform me that they do not have size in store but would contact me when he does and I can easily come in and return it. He even went as far as contacting me throughout the week to let me know the progress. I was unable to personally receive the shoes from the store today, so instead I sent a colleague to fetch the correct shoe and upon arriving dealt with the very same cashier. This time she abruptly and very rudely responded " next time, don't wear the shoes and wash them with any shoe cleaner before you come to return it..". How extremely rude! Is that the accepted standard of customer service you guys express at Studio 88? . Pathetic. That's what it is. Firstly, I was handed a damaged and frail box for a shoe that costs one thousand rand .. then I was given two different shoes ... and then having to deal with rude staff! This is not acceptable.
Just a month ago I had given the store an all 5 rating, sorry to say, you guys didn't uphold the standard.

Yesterday me and my partner went to the studio88 in upington CBD we saw the shoe but unfortunately they didn't have a size they checked for us on the one in the mall which they got the size I told them to ask them to put the shoe aside as we were driving to Kalahari mall but the guy said we have to pay for it and go pick it up at the mall which we did
On our arrival we produced the proof of purchase they gave us the item when we tried on the shoe it was too big we asked to exchange the shoe or refund they told us we have go and refund it were we bought it which was rediculous to hear.
While am trying to understand why... we saw another shoe which fitted with a different price again it was an issue they didnt want to give us the difference back, and their manager was very useless she passed us even after she was called to come to assist. They seem very incompetent as the refund policy does not say we need to refund were we bought it 😡😡😡

I've had no further communication, this is absolutely frustrating at the fact that there was trust put in you guys when placing the online order, using airtime and data on a daily basis for something that I already received payment confirmation for. If there is no response by tomorrow midday, I'd be sending this through on "HELLO PETER", including the call logs and numerous emails.
I've even gone to the extent of even going instore, to which I had such pathetic service as well. I have to come to a point where if I don't receive any communication I do insist on "REFUND".

Last week Wednesday I went to studio 88 in Promenade Nelsruit. Then there is this guy, his name is Skhulile. Apparently he is also the manager. He was so rude to point that he started arguing with me infront of other customers. Telling me that he wont beg me and am nothing. I demand this be investigated and he apologise to me in person. Before that he was rude to my wife and that's why I went in myself. He is self centered and rude.

I bought adidas slides 3rd week of June 2021/September the 12th the one slide felt loose, only to notice that the top part is coming off, the glued part, took the a picture, the second week of October went back to studio Cresta spoke to Mpho store manager, she told me they want a receipt i no longer have the receipt but have my bank statement showing the amount of the slide R599.00 and still have the box of the slide surely they can use the barcode to track the purchase I was given a number to call Tracey/ studio head office not at once I spoke to her I will be kept on hold for over 10 minutes [protected]
I mean this product is not quality if it breaks in three months it was not negligence the slide is still brand new underneath this is a quality issue, I am sending the very same complaint on hello peter and adidas website I hope to hear from you soon

I am deeply hurt and disatisfied about my service at Studio 88 in Wynberg I wanted to purchase a tekkie which I saw was on special when I got to the till the sneakers where more than what they advertised I told the cashier which was a guy he was very sweet and trying to be helpful that I won't be able to purchase it with that price I need to get it on the price that I saw which they advertised and he called the manager it was a lady with short hair white in completion she was extremely rude to me and told me that she won't go down for someone else's mistakes I asked her why is she making her problems mine she started being rude more shouting at me and told me I'd rather leave the sneakers because the pricing that was incorrect was not her fault she was so rude everyone in the shop was staring at us but luckily another white guy came in and I spoke to him I don't know if his the store manager or what but he was very helpful and told them that they should give me the sneakers on that advertised price I was so sadend by her behavior because all the staff at studio 88 was so nice except her and off all she called herself a manager I purchased 2 sneakers and a cap there which I could have gotten at another shop but it was my choice to go there not knowing that I would be in contact with a rude manager such as her thank you
