service in this store
i have been using this gas station as long as it has been on 200 St. James blvd in goose creek, sc. I thought it was just me but I left out of there a week ago feeling insulted and shocked. Then even more shocked when I realized one of the people behind the counter was the manager. So I began going to the Sunoco on hwy 52 just a few blocks away, and got into a conversation while in line of why I was in that particular station, only to hear from the young man behind me that he also stopped going there because of the treatment he received when he went there. The manager called me back after 5 days only to take the side of the employee even after saying she watched the video, clearly the video was not the conversation between myself and the people currently there when I was there. There was no mention about there being NO receipt EVER in the GAS PUMPS so the last 3 times I came there I had to go inside, her conversation to that was she watched the girl put the receipt in my hand THAT IS NOT THE ISSUE, there was no mention of how the cashier said in a very SCARASTIC voice that I was having a bad day, there was no mention how the cashier went on addressing me to the next customer whom she did not realize WAS A NEIGHBOR OF MINES... the man prior to me which I asked the manager if she also reviewed how he was treated because his EBT card would not work. FACIAL EXPRESSIONS SAY A LOT. The cashier whose name is TC even went as far as to address how she did not like Goose Creek... I would hope if nothing else there is some kind of training provided to your team at this store because it is going down since your current management is in place. There are a lot of other new stations in the area, but for convenience I guess we might all have to start trying to drive a few extra miles if things can't change back and this becomes the norm.

I hope you will find this message in best of your health! Today we visited to Sunoco gas station. We put gas in our car then we bought some stuff (chicken and drinks). The cashier was full time busy on mobile phone and he was not paying attention to our order for even a single second. Due to using mobile he charged us extra. When we figure it out i just asked him to check the receipt again but he was still busy on his call and denied that he didn't charged us extra. When I explained everything and he realized that he is wrong he just misbehaving and just us he don't want to sell anything to us. Attached is the copy of that receipt.
money taken from account for no reason
On August 20, 2018 my husband went to get cash back. He pulled the card out too early and it cancelled the transaction but it still took the money out of our account. $32.80 to be exact. The clerk said they money shouldn't be taken out of our account and if it was it should go back in 24 hours. It's been 2 days and the money is still not in our account. I have the reciept saying the transaction was cancelled and I have proof that the money was still taken out of our account. We were depending on the money to pay a bill. And are still depending on the money for that bill. So pretty much what happened is $32.80 was stolen from us. This is extremely upsetting and I'm afraid to return to that store because I feel it might happen again and we can't afford to lose anymore money.

I am beyond frustrated with your corporation. I have called twice regarding my issue and the second time was told my case would be expedited and yet I still haven't heard back. What is wrong with your company? First off, both my wife and I only fill our tanks at Sunoco, that is up until two weeks ago. I went to the Sunoco station on Merrimack Street in Methuen, MA, pulled up to the pump, inserted my debit card and started to pump my gas. As I am pumping, another guy comes running over saying I was stealing his gas. He apparently paid inside but the cashier applied his payment to my pump. I don't understand how this was possible seeing as I had already inserted my debit card and got the ok to start pumping. Regardless, this guy was yelling and screaming that I was stealing his money. I went inside to speak with the cashier, who was overwhelmed. I asked for a receipt and was told she couldn't provide me with one but insisted that I pay with my debit card again to cover the money that the first guy had paid. I was running late to pick up my daughter and, rather than stay there to argue, make a scene and have the police come, I handed over my debit card again. Also, I didn't even get the full amount of gas that was paid for. Supposedly the other guy had paid $15 but I only got $7 and some change worth of gas. So I paid twice and got less than $8 worth of gas. I don't know what kind of scheme you guys are running but I've had it!

The cashier at Sunoco on Madison ave in Covington ky, had a customer open the door so they could yell out side to say "no [censored]in service without a shirt" I was outside, had my shirt sitting in the car to put on to walk in, I put it on and walked in and said that was inappropriate and asked for her name she said [censored] you and wouldn't give it to me, I called the store and asked to speak to a manager and was refused. My wife and I came back in the evening - because we always use this gas station it's convienant by our house, the same cashier was sitting out side in her car and said oh we have u on camera, I said doing what standing outside? She says and I'm getting your license plate now get out of here good bye, I never complain and maybe she's having a bad day- heard her say a co worker was 3 hrs late. But that's no excuse for behavior like that

The Sunoco in Morningside, Maryland makes people spend $5 or more if using a card. I did research and that's not a law or a way to run a business if someone wants to purchase a snack. I called about 2 months to complain and each time I go in there I use cash. The matter of the fact is if Sunoco is being charged by whomever spends less than $5 using a card is not the paying customers that's using card problem. I would like for this place to stop making people spend what they don't want to spend. This gas station is literally across the street from my house and I get a gas, air, etc but this is crazy the items are already overpriced for a "Kit Kit" it's $1 and change just for the tax also don't forget the tax. This is crazy!

Your store that is located at 5710 Rivers Ave. North Charleston, SC 29406 has a men's restroom that is in very bad conditions. The urinal alone has been broken for three weeks. The floors, doors, walls are not clean. The shelf is broken off the wall above the urinal. The smell is overwhelming. Federal, State and Local sanitation and property maintenance codes prohibit conditions to remain as is, in the store. Minimum plumbing facilities are required to be maintained. Please look into this.

Incident occurred at 01:33 am EST on Friday August 3, 2018 at 1100 S 10th St, Philadelphia, PA 19147. I walked up to the emtramce of Sunoco on 10th st but was stopped by three African Americans that confrontationally told me I couldn't enter. After several minutes of them making jokes at me and telling me I better not enter the establishment; alluding to the repercussions of i were to enter, I walked inside. I went to use the lottery machine because my initial reason for my visit to Sunoco was no longer important since I was not going to receive service by these gentleman. One claimed to be working at the time which the other two men nodded giving affirmation to the claim. I encourage management to witness my claim by reviewing the cameras. It is less than 24 hours since incident so there should be no issue when requesting these videos. I felt threatened and scared for my person. Had I said the wrong thing I believe they would have assaulted me; three against one would have been painful for myself. I hope that after reviewing the security tapes that you take action. I plan to share this with social media and anywhere people will read this. I shouldn't be threatened and ganged up against by Sunoco employees. Your employees represent your name, Sunoco; especially while clocked in. Everywhere on the news a common theme is the "white" people that go against "black". Ask to fill up on a pump gave clerk my card and advised me I had to give an amount in which I did not know how much it was going to be to fill up so I told him 30 and started walking out and he threw my card at me and said get the [censored] out of my store when I picked up my card from the floor by the door amd I replied well than [censored] you this place lost my service so much for spending my money at that place and it's bad service being that it just opened up less than a month ago and they have alot of druggies that hang out around the door which will look bad to other customers as well when They ask for cigarettes and money

This company is the worst. I applied and obtained gas cards from them for my family. My son was traveling from New York upstate, to New York city Long Island. I called to let them know that he was traveling. I repeated several times it was important for him to be able to use this card without any issues. Every time he tried to use his card in New York, New Jersey etc. the card was denied. Each time I had to call customer service. And then lo and behold, on a Friday evening at 8:30 when he was trying to get gas and the card was declined once again, when I tried to call customer service for a third time only to find out that they are closed on the weekends. They close at 7 PM on Friday and do not re-open again until Monday. Beware consumers! Now my son is out of state having used most of his money to get gas because The credit card never worked for him! Each time I called customer service I was told everything was taken care of. Please do something about this consumer complaint board! Look at all the other complaints that have been listed against Sunoco. This is not right!

Been a loyal customer for over 10 years, and on the above date, I took my wife's Audi for a check engine light issue.
A diagnosis was conducted and the lead mechanic, Robert, had indicated it stemmed from 2 oxygen sensors that needed to be replaced, at which point, we decided to proceed with the repairs.
Later in the afternoon, the mechanic indicated that the car was repaired, so I proceeded to pay for the parts and labor fees in the amount of $470.80, including a 6 month warranty on parts alone.
Two days following the repair, the check engine light came on again, and we returned the car to the shop, only to be told that another diagnosis was required to FULLY DETECT the source of the problem.
We were also told that since there are many sensors that may trigger the issue, we would have to leave the car for a few days, and that additional expenses were to be expected as a result of the SECOND DIAGNOSIS.
We felt very discouraged about the situation, especially since we have entrusted this staff with our automotive needs for over 10 years, and now feel betrayed that not only has this problem not been solved, but as to how quickly the problem emerged within a 2 day span.
As a result of this experience, it is our belief that Sunoco should immediately address and investigate this matter, because it seems that they have other interests rather than the main objective of providing loyal customers, such as my family and I, with the best customer service available.
I will be more than happy to provide you with a copy of the receipt, if necessary, however there is no receipt number listed on the copy, for reasons unknown to us.
To summarize, it is our desired request to receive our refund, for the amount of $470.80, due to the fact that the car is still experiencing check light signals, and there is no guarantee that future repairs will ultimately solve this matter.

wrong gas and combative attendant and manager
Sunday july 22 2018. I stopped in at roughly 4:10 pm. Asked attendant for $20 cash of premium 93 I told him I was going in side to purchase a lottery ticket, and as I was walking toward the store I yelled out 93 as I always repeat myself when dealing with gas attendants. After my in store purchase I came out and the pump was still in the car and I saw the light on the 87 was lit. 87? I have had my car 5 years and I have never put such low octane crap in I said to the attendant, 'bro, I asked you for 93 and he just looked at me and shrugged. After a minute of conversing with him about why he didn't pay attention to what I asked for he told me to give him the money, I said that I wanted a receipt and he told me he had to change the paper and I can go inside for it. I went inside and spoke to the manager who told me that I should have waited outside and made sure the attendant pushed the proper button. The manager was rude and blamed me for the mistake. I am furious and want this resolved in some way asap. Please contact me with further steps to resolve this.

My husband and I submitted an application for sunoco and we received an email approving the gas card.
Complaint# when you are submitting the application, it does not give you the option to add co-owners. Only option is to add another card holder-meaning if you have 3 drivers in the family, only 2 people get a card. So I called (the wife) and asked for a 3rd card. They would not speak with me of course because the option of adding my name (the wife) as a co applicant is not available. So I had to get my husband who was cutting the lawn to get on the phone and ask for a 3rd card so that he, my son and me could all have a card. After spending 20 minutes on the phone, we were told we would receive 3 cards. Of course, we only received 2 because sunoco customer service is the worst as can be seen by the 1 out of 5 stars rating on this complaint board. So I call again-and I am told I cannot get any info on the 3rd card because I am not a coapplicant listed on the account. I ask for a supervisor who repeats the same thing! I say I am not asking for any personal info. Not asking for private information. Not asking for an address. Not asking for financial information. All I want to know is did the 3rd card we requested on 7/9/18 get mailed out? Supervisor says your husband has to call. Worst customer service ever.

I was traveling from New York to Tn on Sunday July 15, 2018. I stopped in Mentor Ohio, at the Sunoco Station on Mentor street to purchase fuel, use the restroom and purchase some snacks. I went inside and requested to use the restroom only to find signs on both restroom doors "Stop - Employees Only". I asked the clerk if I could use the restroom, she said No. I said that I planned to purchase fuel and make an in store purchase. She said it didn't matter, I couldn't use the restroom. I asked if there is another gas station in the area, she directed me to the Speedway about a mile down the road. The Speedway allowed me to use the restroom, I purchased $45 in fuel, and $12 in snacks and drinks. I will avoid Sunoco and mostly likely Mentor Ohio on future trips through Ohio. Mentor, if this Sunoco station represents the face of your city... perhaps you all should avoid that store.

This stations owners are some of the rudest people I have met. They talk down to you and the fact that they represent your name I will no longer use a Sunoco anymore. I would be embarrassed to have these people represent my company. They also illegally charges my credit card for a service not having to do with Sunoco but the fact of the matter, the Sunoco name is on the building.
unethical behavior / tried to give us less value on winning ticket
Today (7/16/2018) at about 5:30 p.m. I stopped at the Sunoco mini market in Robesonia, Pa to cash in a Bingo scratch off lottery ticket my wife had .
I put the ticket in the costumer scanner on the outside of the sales counter, it came up a $20 winner when I gave the ticket to the employee behind the counter he scanned it on a scanner inside the counter and told me that I had won $12, I told him that I believed it was a $20 winner, he said I was wrong and pointed to his scanner that said $12, I grabbed the ticket off of the counter and told him that I would scan the ticket myself, at that point he shut off his scanner and admitted that he had made a mistake and immediately handed me a $20 bill
Several months prior to this my wife was also told that her ticket was of lesser value then she thought but was not able to scan it for herself ?
I believe that this particular merchant is running some type of scam and should be investagated

gas charge
The pump was broke. I wanted to purchase 87 regular gas for $3.12/gallon, and the pump charged me for 93 ultra gas for $3.99/gallon. I went in and told the attendant. He said there was nothing he could do. I told him that he had very poor customer service as there is something very wrong with his pump and I didn't expect to pay an additional $0.87/gallon. He told me he could do nothing. I'm sorry, but for his pump being broken and charging me an additional $12 I expect to get a refund or some kind of store credit in return. No such luck with him. I will never use another Sunoco again unless I am credited the difference of the broken pump. This happened on 7/16/18 at 7:04pm at the Sunoco we 330 E Lancaster Ave Wynnewood, PA.

My name is Seanna Filsaime. I am emailing you regarding an altercation that took place at the route 20 Sunoco gas station in Worcester, ma yesterday around 4 pm. I witnessed an incident of the employee (do not know name) was arguing with a customer. I recorded the incident and at that point the reported manager walked into the store to speak to the other employee in which there was a lot of yelling and swearing. At this time he noticed i was recording and approached me yelling a me telling me i did not have the right to record them. I explained i was recording his employee yelling and swearing at a customer. I asked to speak to a manager and he said he was the manager and told me i had to leave his store and to delete the video. I approached the counter to explain i had deleted the video and at this point the reported manager (unknown name) reached forward and tried to grab my phone out of my hands. I pulled back and as exiting the store he put his hand on my back and proceeded to push me towards the door. I was shocked that he had placed his hands on me and assaulted me. As an individual with diagnosed PTSD and a history of trauma my instinct was to hit back in which i reacted. He proceeded to push me out the store and at this time my spouse came into the store to try to diffuse the situation in which the reported manager shoved my boyfriend into me and he pushed me into the door. From the results of this situation i am left with an injured back and wrist. The Worcester police was contacted by bothe myself and the store employees. They reported that there would be no arrest and to not return to their sonoco gas station. I did not press charges due to the fear of being arrested as well due to my own trauma and reaction to your employee assaulting me. I would like this situation to be addressed. There are videos in the store in which you can see the incident. I also have documented medical records from after the incident occurred. I am placed out of work for a week without pay due to this. I have three small children to attend to and this has made my life extremely difficult. As said before i am a victim of trauma and this incident has affected my life greatly. Hello, today on july 4th, at sunoco gas station, s&j service, 72- 02main street, flushing ny 11367, I purchased gasoline for $28.86 and received the check for $28.86. (the recipt 379583, stan: [protected], site id 425111, terminal id 003)
However, in reality I received an sms $100 was withdrawn from my account. I thought it was some mistake and called my bank and they confirmed that I was charged 100usd.
I need my money to returned back to me, it us a real shame if this is a fraud!
