Hello, I stopped at the Speedway Gas Station on 1930 Douglas Drive N Golden Valley, MN 55422 The time was approx 6:40 am I pulled in, parked and got out of my car to walk in. I noticed that the only Associate that was working was outside the store smoking. Mind you she was RIGHT by the door. so everyone that was walking in... the only door that wa...

SuperAmerica / Northern Tier Retail noise at the station. noise at pumps and now loud music from cars!!

I'm not sure when this started but the pumps now have LOUD televisions which are too loud for this location. There must be 10 or more pumps and they are loud! My concern is that this seems to have given a green light to people to blast their music from the cars while filling up! Really loud, not sure if the cars are on while this is happening, that would be totally unsafe. Too loud is one thing but the music it usually RAP, with really loud lyrics ([censored], etc.) that I and other people don't want to hear. I went over to a car and told them to turn it down, that no one wanted to listen to that crap - I'm afraid of filling up at this station and don't want to change but the staff inside said they can't do anything about this. How about turning down the music on the pumps and putting up a few signs? I am pretty scared to fill up at this station now and may have to change. I did make a complaint with the City of Minneapolis and the Community Crime Prevention person. Please do something!

SuperAmerica / Northern Tier Retail car wash and clerk

I went to the river road store to get a car wash with my unlimited plan. I drove around and the wash was closed because it's broke. I went inside and asked if the call wash wash was broken I wanted to make sure before I left in case they just forgot to open it. So then I drove to another SA and that car wash is broken. Not only is it broke but it's broke for the same reasons as the other car wash. She said that it's not getting all the soap off I'm so frustrated with this. It seems like the wash is broke more days then it is open. You can look at my car wash activities history I can't used it for weeks at a time. Then when the wash works I will go two times in a row because my car is so dirty. I will go the next day again and so on. I'm paying for something that I can't use. Not only that but I'm paying for something that I can't use at my CONVENIENCE
So I want to end my subscription. Will you call me to discuss this @ 320/247/3362. Valerie is my name. Also after I drove to another gas station and the car wash was closed do to it being broken I then pulled up to a pump. I pressed all the buttons and then put the nozzle in my gas tank and waited and waited and waited for the pump to start. I finally went inside the store and no clerk was to be found nobody in site ...! I'm already mad able the car wash. And now nobody is working or standing at their post to authorize pumps. I was going to press the button myself but I didn't want to be in trouble. Finally a clerk came. And it was Robin... I don't care for her based on my history with her. I was standing at the door way near the registers. Yelling hello?!? Anybody home!?!? Hello! After waiting at the pump for about three minutes I went inside snd waited about another 3 minuets until she came out she was carrying 3 breakfast burgers. With a smile. I said I'm trying to get fuel. She said ok. I went back out to my car and it wasn't eorking
Probably because I was waiting and it timed out?!
She opened the door from the store and said hang up the pump and Start over.
It still didn't work she then came out side and restarted the pump again..
Then she went in to the store and authorized the pump so after waiting for a authorization and then finally finding the clerk about 8 minuets later I was able to start pumping my fuel. I should have just paid at the pump to avoid all this but I wanted to use my SA. Card. But you pay staff to be. Cashiers and robin to be a manager and she can't even get it right. I'm so frustrated with this store that I think i May never go to a SA again because of my continuing horrible customer service. And the car was always being broke
I live in Sartell Minnesota I visited one in Sartell on river road then went to Benton drive to find another car wash broken. And now I just spent another hour of my time trying to call and nobody is available to take my call I was prompt to leave a message and hope someone will call me back. And now wrote this email too explain what happened only to have to repeat everything again when someone calles me. If they actually do call me.

SuperAmerica / Northern Tier Retail store manager and cashier

My son and I go there every morning Monday- Friday sense November 20th 2017 and sometimes after work. I have asked the new store manager and the cashier (who also works in the morning) to make breakfast more. They have only had 2 breakfast pizzas ready to go when I stop in their sense November 20th 2017 5 days a week at the same time 7:30am-8:00am. (They both blamed it on each other). The store manager asked if I was in evey morning around the same time. I said yes.. In hopes of they would start making one or two around that time. That was a big NOPE. The last straw was my son got 2 juices one morning because I wrote out a check that day I figured I'd get enough for the next day too. So that next day we stopped in to get everything else we normally do and I noticed my sons juice wasn't in the bag I left with the day before. I said that was strange because I only sent him to daycare with 1. So I said well whatever and was planning on getting him another. I go to pay and the cashier who always works with the new store manager said "Oh your son left his juice here yesterday" I replied back with that explains why it wasn't in the bag. And the store manager who was behind the cashier looked over at my son and said you left your juice on the counter. I pay for our stuff and get the receipt and head out to the car. After dropping my son off at daycare from the area I looked at my receipt and kind of figured I would have got his juice for free considering it was paid for but left on the counter. The next day we went there I said to the manager as paying for his other juice "why wouldn't you reemburse me for the juice he left"? she replyed back with "why would I do that"? I said "because my son left his other one here and you both said something to me about it". She said "I'm sorry for being honest". I was so shocked from what she just said to me so i paid for my stuff without another word and walked out. Sense that last incident I haven't been back. I am a very faithful person to going to Super America's from my father who passed away in 2012. All my dad went to was Super America's. Expecically that one where all this took place. Still 2 weeks after this last incident im still in shock for how a store manager reacted. I worked at a Holiday 5 minutes from that store for 7 years. I would NEVER said that to a customer. Expecially considering the juice was already payed for. She was better off not saying anything because I didn't know we even left it there.

SuperAmerica / Northern Tier Retail 16 oz coca cola

On june 19, 2018, at about 6:15 pm give or take a little, I bought two cans of 16 oz. Coke and the price on the shelf said $1.19 each. I bought two and to my surprise, libby, the clerk at the 3259 stinson blvd ne store tried to charge me $1.29 each. I asked about the difference and she told me she can't charge me the advertised price. She actually refused. If she did not argue, I most likely would have paid the difference, but tell her to fix the price on the shelf. I did ask for the mgr. She made some off-color remark about having a great day.
I did question her on this and tried to remind her it is against the law to charge a price over the advertised price. Her comment to another customer was "some people really get upset over.20 cents." that was uncalled for, she started an argument with me and then a customer wanted to assault me, hearing the clerk argue with me. I find this totaly unacceptable. I will not stop at and will tell all my friends and family not to use superamerica as long as that woman is still working for sa. She is not a an asset. She is a libelity.

SuperAmerica / Northern Tier Retail gift cards

XXX,

This has nothing to do with the terms of the settlement. This has to do with the fact that I have an SA gift card that expired before I depleted the funds. The fact that I am a regular customer. The fact that as customer service you have the ability to retain a customer. Really? $8 to turn a customer away? Think about it. This email is costing your company that amount. For me it is the principal and how a company responds. Up to you and your department?
Thank you
XXXX

XXXX,

I apologize we cannot change the terms of the settlement agreed upon by the Federal Court.

It doesnt prevent you from revalidating the gift card or transferring the balance to another gift card. I do spend money at Super America and a good corporate partner wouldnt hesitate on my request.
Thank you
XXXX

XXXX,
The gift card was issued as part of a settlement approved by a federal court. Under the terms of the settlement, the gift cards expired 180 days after they were delivered to customers who submitted a claim. The 180-day expiration was explained in the court-approved notice about the settlement:
https://www.satcpasettlement.com/Content/Documents/Notice.pdf
The settlement agreement, which is also available on the settlement web site www.satcpasettlement.com, stated at Section 4.02(b) that these cards would expire after 180 days:
https://www.satcpasettlement.com/Content/Documents/Settlement%20Agreement.pdf
The cards were actually issued with more than 180 days of use to account for mailing to customers. At the end of that period, any remaining balance on the card expired.

My SA lawsuit gift card expired in APR and there is not an expiration date on the card. There is still approximately $8-9 on the card. Please do the needful and unexpire the card. I have been using the card regularly and was trying to use it today.

SuperAmerica / Northern Tier Retail smoke shop inside sa?

The Waconia, MN SA has a banner outside promoting the "Smoke Shop" that is inside the SA! By the way, this SA is right across the street from the Middle School. I am done with ALL Super America stations until they take care of this. If I have to I will do everything in my power to run this location out of business.

This picture has already been posted on Facebook! Now that Kwik Trip has a loyalty card there is no need to go to SA any more.

SuperAmerica / Northern Tier Retail access road to sa

There is an access road to the SA located at intersection of Co Rd 5 and HWY 13 in Burnsville, MN. I have the dental office located next to that SA. The service drive which SA is to be maintaining is full of giant potholes and because of this people are driving on my lawn to avoid these gaping holes. I am tired of your ignorance to this issue. We have emailed and called at least four times in the last month and have yet to get a response. I think the next action will be legal. Please contact us so that we can get this issue resolved.

SuperAmerica / Northern Tier Retail rude customer service/cash register & POS system failures constantly

I live 1 block from my SA, my family is in there At least 4 times daily, we have spent a small fortune there over the last 20+ years, I treat all the employees with respect and most of them Iam on a first name basis with, I went in yesterday morning and the Manager Irma was working along with another older female, I noticed the POS was down so luckily I was able to pay with exact change, however the clerk was rude slamming things around and spoke to me in a very rude loud condescending tone, I brushed it off as everybody has a bad day sometimes.I stopped in the store again this morning and the manager was working with the same older woman that was rude to me yesterday, the line took longer than anybody should have to wait, Still I didnt complain, I ordered my cigs and a lottery ticket the total was 11.46, I handed the woman 20.46, she again started huffing and puffing, getting louder as she pointed to a sign that wasnt visible until you got right in front of the register, she was very rude and loud again, I was so put off I said to her " you dont need to be rude to me I come in here everyday, she loudly exclaimed in front of the manager and a store full of people, " Im not rude, cant you read the damn sign" My Jaw dropped and I said Irma, you need to check your girl and walked out. Im appauled that any employee would speak to me like that, I have never been a problem Im Courteous. If she would talk to me like that I cant imagine how she would handle a problem with a difficult customer.

SuperAmerica / Northern Tier Retail cash back not received 2 separate transactions. all attempts to contact unsuccessful.

At store # 4445 located at 10865 University Ave NE Blaine, MN 55434, on the evening of 01/18/2018, at 11:29:35 I attempted to receive cash back on two separate transactions. I ATTEMPTED to receive $5.00 & $10.00 cash back on transaction #'s 918131 & 918132), which I was told both declined due to insufficient funds. HOWEVER they in no way shape or form were insufficient or declined as they both went through. 1st I was told the $5 & $10 charges were only pending, and would fall off. I insisted that it was not pending and I was in fact charged. After 20-30 minutes in a heated argument with the employee, I was told to come back to the store in the morning and the manager would refund my $15.00. Despite living several hours away in WI, I stayed in MN to do as I was told by the female and male attendants who were on duty. Upon speaking with the manager the next day I was told there was nothing she could do and I was given the contact number [protected] to handle the issue. I left 1 voice mail on 01/19/2018, and received no response. I then wrote an email to customer service, yet still no response. I then called the Blaine SA once more in attempts to get this remedied. I spoke with a male manager this time who told me it had only been 5 days and I shouldn't expect any refund or response as it had only been 5 days since the incident. I was then given an 800 number for SA customer service and called AGAIN leaving yet another message, yet still no response. It has now been 12 days and I have heard NOTHING from anyone via phone or email, and have still not seen my money refunded. I am becoming very concerned about this issue as no one appears to find this incident of any importance or priority. It may only be $15, however I am a single mom and can't spare even $15 measly dollars at the hands of poorly trained incompetent workers, scheduled without a lead on duty. I attached an image of my bank statement showing the charges all going through completed. If I do not hear from them by the end of the business day on 02/01/2018 I will be forwarding this email on to the BBB, ShamSham, Pissed Customer, and Consumer Affairs as well. I hope they do the right thing and correct the issue the attendants have caused, as I have been loyal to SA for many years.

Thank you

SuperAmerica / Northern Tier Retail loud radio noise outside

There has been an ongoing problem with loud noise from the outdoor speakers at 577 Smith Avenue South. After an extensive round of correspondence and legal action in October an agreement was reached in which SA agreed to abide by MN State and Saint Paul City noise ordinances. Outdoor speakers should not be audible from more than 50 feet away. Yet once again my I can hear the radio inside my house which is twice that distance away.

This situation is demoralizing, chronic, inconsiderate, ongoing, frustrating, and ruins the quality of life and property value at this intersection, which is residential.

I wish it would get fixed and stay fixed, as they agreed to. The radio should not be audible inside peoples homes. that are 100 feet way. There is no reason for this noise and it is utterly dispiriting. Thank you.

SuperAmerica / Northern Tier Retail smell gasoline in our basement

My husband and I live at:

next to the SuperAmerica at 5101 S 34th Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55417. The past few days we have notice a strong smell of gasoline in our basement. It does not smell of natural gas and we are concerned it is a leak coming in through our foundation. SuperAmerica / Northern Tier Retail employee services

I have noticed multiple times when I come in the evenings that your employees always have people sitting up there talking to them. I have gone in to grab milk and came back up a couple hours later to trade in lottery tickets and that same person is still sitting up there talking to the employee working. If you have an employee working they should be doing there job and not sitting there talking to their friends, gf/bf any of that. They are there to do there job not sit and chat with friends.

SuperAmerica / Northern Tier Retail customer service.

I was on my way to work this morning around 5:45 am. I wanted to stop to get a few items so I stopped at Super America by my house. My blood sugars also felt a little low so I was going to get something to eat. When I got out of the car there was a gentleman in his mid-late 20's I'd guess. He had his hair tied back in a pony. He looked at me as I approached the door & asked me to "wait" until he was done smoking his cigarette. I looked at him & asked if he was joking. He then proceeded to tell me no one can be in the store if he's outside. I get that but I'm not waiting in my car for an employee to finish smoking. I thought it was a little rude so I left. I just thought someone should know so they are aware of what happened.

SuperAmerica / Northern Tier Retail your service

All your staff tonight was super rude, they were refusing to sell us something because they didn't wanted to break a 100. Even if they didn't have change they're attitude was super rude. Definitely need new staff if want to keep business up. Other night came in and a worker had the gas station closed, he told us we could only get gas if we had credit card. You lost a lot of business that night because many people were trying to get gas but didn't because they had closed it. This is my closest gas station to home, I am happy to give you my business as long as I get ALLEAST GOOD SERVICE not great but at least good. Please don something if you value your business because it looks like they don't care for it, and I am sure one of them was the store manager, a older lady around her late 50 blonde hair and 5 2" height. There is an old man there who is always super nice! His the only good one I've seen give me and my husband good service.

The girl that works at night at super America in 11151 off Douglas in Champlin has her daughter in the store with while she is working which is probably why there was no coffee or whip cream as she was checking me out she was trying to tend to her child at the same time which is probably why she did not give me the correct change the first time luckily I'm a decent human being and gave the money back the next person might not be to nice.

She probably didnt have anyone to watch her kids. SuperAmerica doesnt pay much. And why are you boasting about giving money back? Any decent person would. You don't get any special praise. You sound like a spoiled little [censor] whining about too much money, and whipped cream. You have a lot to learn about life.
