Ms Tina Calvert (After telling them 3x's it was Mrs)
I pulled up for my first oil change with your company. A vehicle was already inside being serviced ahead of me.. when it took them 25min to finish that car, it should of been a sign.. thought it was 10min. Not one vehicle made it out of there less then a half hour. Me, try 2 1/2 hours.
After 25 minutes under my car, I was approached thinking, we're done finally and he's coming to finalize paperwork Nope. They try telling me, whoever did our last oil change, installed a round drain plug and we cannot remove it. So it took you 25 minutes to destroy my drain plug and now your trying to blame it on the previous person, my husband. A retired Service Manager from Mercedes, Retired parts manager of SeaRay of Las Vegas, try again... If the vehicle arrives with any damage, employees should be taught to take a photo to show the boss, and the boss to the customer. Asking what should we do. Instead, so they do not lose the sell, they begin sucking the oil our of the dip stick tube. We used to call it "Suck a lux" it's a cheat and does not remove all the oil and should of asked permission first.
As a 10min oil change company, you cannot be proud of this. My wife hears the service manager tell the ticket writer, go tell her that particular car needs Synthetic Oil... over doubling the bill.. She tells him, I'm not a stupid woman and I know better. Synthetic oils only work if used before 5000 miles.
He actually apologized to her for having to do it, said, my boss made me.
Proving, he is your biggest problem. Why did he not get involved after the car was still there after 20min.. who's watching over this place.
I could triple your sells in 2mos, your manager is losing you money.. check your average ticket time per car.. It will open your eyes on the $ your losing..
With all this, my wife having to waste 2 1/2hrs sitting there with her leg on the dash because she's nursing a broken ankle... not happy about this.
It was supposed to be, swing in get the oil changed and go pick up our subs...
Ruined our plans for the day.
Sincerely upset in Merritt Island, Fl.

Take 5 Oil Change, it seems like your "10-minute oil change" turned into a marathon that nobody signed up for. Two and a half hours later, and instead of a quick service, you've got a mess, a ruined day, and a broken drain plug — after they tried to pull a fast one with unnecessary synthetic oil. It’s clear the management at your Merritt Island location is dropping the ball big time. David’s asking for a full refund and a new drain plug, and after that experience, it's the least you can do. Time to step up and fix this.
