I am a user of the Tata Indicom USB Modem for the Laptop. I pu rchsed this item approxiametly 1 week ago and received already 2 bills. 5 days after the purchase my internet access was made off and I was told that I had to pay already a bill of 1700 Rupees. The plan that I chose was the 1500 Ruppes plan which they told me would give me unlimited internet access and 5 GB downloading. I took this and paid the bill. 2 days after the again activated my internet access I get now again a next bill to pay again 1047 Ruppes or my connection will again be made off.
I did not use my limit that I doont even have in 2 days.
Are you not ashamed of yourout tselves of cheatin people like this. I know many people complain about this. I will surely sue Tata indicom for this in court and many other people will surely do the same. This is not to take. You have to correct this immediately! What is this Tata Indicom Company only a ###ing bunnch of liars that cheat Indians of their money an d ignore it. This commpany will surely go down if it continues to cheat and ignore their costumers. You make the Indian country really look bad. Be ashamed of yourselves.

I have purchased a CDMA 1x USB MODEM...wherein i have taken an unlimited plan of 1200 but the thing is that i have been sent with a bill of 1300 and above for last 2 months...
Feel like slapping them really...
When they can't guide us in a proper way y should they advice all this kind of Bull-###...
When i went to find out about the billing system and all...they were really so least bothered to answer me...
The technical and Non-Technical staff really don't know anything...and the way they respond to the customers is really absurd...
I advice you to please be selective in going for any plans...

Your Sales Executive told me that it is fast (256KBPS). But now the problem is - Your modem gives me a very poor (10kbps) access speed. It is so unfortunate. Give me some advice by which I can access my net as first as possible.

I have recently purchased tata indicom's cdma1Xusb modem ...
They claim to provide a speed of 153 Kbs but the browsing speed is not even half of that ..During the day its almost impossible to surf.Messenger keeps on disconnecting due to weak connection and none of the browser software seem to load pages.The poorest internet facility in Inida.Very Sad and they don't seem to do anything about it.They continue to hceat customers.As a responsible consumer i strongly recommend no one use tata indicom servies.

SInce 23rd Aug 2009 my internet connection konked off and since then i have been giving complaints to Tata Broadband service providers
The dumbos could not even detect the problem for fisrt 5 days and were misguiding me that thier server was down .
After that the next story started that there is a wire cut in some place.
So now they wasted another one week saying that they are solving the problem
But in fact there is no wire cut as other using tata around my area are not having any such problems.
So today after 15 days i am still without internet
ANd the worst part
Several times i asked for a refund of my money
and i got the answer that there is no refund system in TATA

TATA Mobile has been disconnected my mobile number with out any information on 24-10-2009 @ morning. I continually follow-up to TATA indicom costumer care but still I am facing the same problem.
My all business transaction depending upon mymobile phone. And now I am facing some financial problem due to this problem.
I have talk on 24-10-2009 morning regarding disconnected my mobile number on [protected]. I dont know the person but he tell me it will done in 4-5 hours but still the problem is not solved. and when I will call to this number [protected]) the person is not pickup my phone and switch off his cell.
My mobile number is disconnected without any alert from company to me.
I am very upset from fraud promises from [protected] this number. very bad service from TATA INDICOM.

I have been a TATA indicom customer for only a couple of days.
For the connection i took the business plan which has a rent of rs 499 with a landline free calls of rs 200, usage of 2GB free..
In 4-5 days i have recieved a call saying i will have to pay some rs.1000 odd for usage..!. weird 5 days of usage..
phoned the customer care, they say my plan was for 1GB and not 2GB.. first LIE.. GOOD GOING MR. TATA to attract customer by teaching employee's to LIE...
then the customer care person says i have used 4GB odd in 5 days..!.. has per what i know for all these years for internet usage.. if a plan says 2GB usage.. it means i can download 2gb for the month.. but this person tells me tht it also includes any internet page opened also..!1.. NEVER KNEW THIS..
Also during installation, i had confirmed that i will be trying it for a couple of days and then confirming.. For this i was told i can call up and cancell the connection if i dont like it.. now the customer care person tell me i will have to pay up soon.. i have already told him to send a person to take the router and cancell the connection ASAP...
THIS IS CLEARLY NOT THE WAY TO ATTRACT CUSTOMERS.. BY TELLING ONE THING AND GOING ANOTHER..
i have been using the NET for a very long time and inspite to downloading software never paid more than rs 500 per month..
I WISH TO TELL ALL THE PEOPLE TO AVIOD TATA INDICOM CONNECTION..
THANK GOD.. TATA didnot do this to TATA SKY.. else it would not have been such a success..

I bought one Tata mobile pre paid mobile from sultanpur, UP(no.[protected]) after fulfilling all requirements but after sometime they stopped my service saying i have not submitted my document again I submitted my full document required along with detail of one of my postpaid mobile number with same name and address which is functioning.But after some time they said we have not received your compleate papers and stopped my services.Now sultan pur prepaid office saying that they have send my documents to lucknow office .so contact to lucknow office.So I am very much upset with this kind of response.

I have applied for TATA INDICOM BROADBAND PLAN (In 3009 Rs. 3 Months Unlimited) on 5-DEC-2009 at Shivajinagar office, Pune. On
15-DEC-2009 I got call from TATA INDICOM that the photo on your Identification proof is not visible so please submit any other Identification proof. So on the same day I submitted my Passport Xerox as identity proof and the TATA INDICOM executive told me that you will get your connection in 48 hrs(i.e. 18-DEC-09). But after 48 hrs I didn’t received any call from executive for connection. Last Saturday(19-DEC-09) I called more than 20 times TATA INDICOM executive on his phone but he didn’t respond to me. Only once he replied me and told me that I’ll check and let you know in 10 mins. but after an hour when I didn’t received call I call him again. After 10-15 attempt of calling him he picked up the call and started telling me that “Sir this is not the way of calling me if I am not receiving you call that means I m busy. You should not call me again and again”.
Now it’s almost 2 weeks completed but I didn’t get any call for Connection.

Many time I recieved calls from your department regarding finding my address by courier service people.In response to that, today [protected]) I made a call to 121 at 5:59 pm and suggested them some corrections in my address to make it easily searchable.In response to my this request I recieved a telephone call of some Mr Rahul of Tata Indicom([protected]) at 6:05pm to 6:08pm dated 21-01-10 to suggest him some corrections in my address like Delhi-110054 instead of New Delhi-110054, which was recorded in your record by your staff's mistake and also to mention that my residence is inside (THE MALL APARTMENTS) society which is quite famous in our area to help courier people to find my house conviniently.To which above mentioned Mr Rahul replied very arrogantly and rudely that it cannot be done without proof.When I told him it is a very simple correction which can be done on telephone request.The fellow replied in the negative, very rudely.Whwn I told him if you people won't corporate and will behave like this then I shall be compelled to shift to some other telecom company to which he replied we don't care if you shift to the other company.just dial 121 for this.

On Jan 31, they asked me by sms to pay 2155 rupees as interim payment
and disconnected the numbner
on feb 1, i made the payment thru SBI internet banking on 9.55 AM
tata indicom website immediately recognized it and sent me a online reciept whose referrence number MSBI0021647229.
Even after 3 hour of payment, my number is still not active.
My question is, when i paid the amount through internet banking and tata indicom website immediately acknowledged it, then how it takes more than 3 hours and then even internet is not activated ?
I talked with with customer care - ref nr - [protected],
the lady on the phone was talking like nonsense.
she said that the payment was not received.
when i quoted the payment transaction number, she could bot reply anything

I am currently using Tata Indicom broadband..I just wanted to share my horrible experience with u guyz..the network of Tata Indicom is the worst..u would be lucky if u got one hour of uninterrupted services..and after repeated complaints, it hardly makes any difference..I will never ever subscribe Tata Indicom broadband services in my life again, neither will I recommend it to my friends, but may be I 'l tell a few people I dont wanna see online, that its network is great..

This is a frustraiting moment for me, because of Tataindicom broadband. Some agent (Mr Ghalpade) has taken rs3500 from me by promising to give a broadband connection with Tataindicom receipt. But couldnt able to give a connection for 2 months then I continiously followed up so he taken back the receipt to give back my deposit. He didnt turn back now I enquired with Tata indicom office at Pune. They have all the details of this agent but one fine day office replied bacj saying the person is absconding and they also register a complaint against him.
Its was fare till now but after this an officer naming Mr Sumeet/Samit, Khalid, promised me to give the where abouts of this person, within couple of days but they didnt return. I doubt these officers are involved in this scam. Thats why they are not answering my call.
This is not expected from a Tata broup of companies.

I have been using tata indicom cell phone for the past few years and have been satisfied with the services but i regret to say that for the past 1 month i m frequently facing problems with the phone and the customer care services-
On 11-04-2010 i recharged my cell with a balance of Rs100/- and on 15-04-2010 hello tune has been set on my number and Rs30/- has beeen deducted eventhough i didn't request for any hello tunes.
Then again i recharged my cell on 24-04-2010 and same thing was repeated, i was charged Rs30/- on 29-04-2010 for the hello tune which was not requested by me.
On complaining to the customer care they showed no interest in our problem and failed to help us out.
i want to know how can i be charged for hello tunes twice within 15 days and why am i getting hello tunes without my request.
I m getting fed up with the service provided and want my money to be refunded ASAP.

I am having Tata Indicom WiMax connection with userid (sirfsaif@vsnl.net) from Gurgaon, Haryana. I am posting this complain that I have experienced very pathetic and disgusting services from Tata Indicom. It has been more than 2 months since internet connection installed at my home after paying 4 months advance. I have not been able to use Internet even for 2 days due to constant unavailability of internet connection.
I am residing in a 12 floor building and my flat locates at 10th floor. The dish for internet was installed at 1st floor at discretion of the person residing at 1st floor which is neither under my control nor under Tata communications. I am facing unplugged cable from Dish due to which I m helpless in using Internet.
It has been more than 15 days while registering my complaint but till date I have not received any resolution. I want to disconnect with the services and demanding refund of my money which I paid as 4 months advance.

I was using TATA INDICOM'S DSL INTERNET CONNECTION SINCE PAST MORE THAN 1 YEAR.
The Connection Tariff was as: Unlimited Download from 8 pm to 8 am and if i use it in day time, then there was a charge of 40 paise per mb download. o charges for Upload.
Suddenly TATA INDICOM has changed my plan without informing me and without my consent and approval, they have changed the plan and charged me higher for the same plan. When, I came to know and inform them, they said, it was a mistake from there side, and offered me a discount of Rs: 100=00 for one year, then they told em that they can give me a discount of Rs: 100=00 for 3 months, they also agreed that it was there mistake but they will not give me anything in writing.
They have kept in dark and cheated me by charging new tariff. I was not willing to go for a new tariff plan, so I told them to disconnect my plan and send them an email also, but too my suprise, they have disconnected my connection and also refused to give refund. When I told them that i will file a case against the company, then they have given me a refund of difference amount of around 85 rupees in my bill, bt didnt feel sorry. It was my badluck that i have keep my trust on TATA BRAND, but they are least bothered.
They always give diplomatic answer, and dont give reply to the question which is asked to them.
I know that they are not going to build TAJ MAHAL from my Money, but they have got the punishment through TATA NENO.
The company people are telling me that the case is closed, and on the other side, nodal officer is sending me an email that they are investingating. Appellate authority is also givingme the same reply afgter more than 2 months also.
Please inform any NGO to contact me for helping me to file a case in CONSUMER COURT, so that the company can learn not to cheat the customers.
Please call me on [protected] for any clarification. I have got all the correspondance with me regarding this matter. They have also informed me that there are so many complaints pending regarding the same matter.

I am being frustrated by their billing methods every time I re-charge currency. The amount doesn't update in one single day and their compliant attending conscience is a big sham.

I inform u that few days before I prchased a CDMA 1X USB Modem of your company, with full of confidence that ur company will give me a more fast accessing speed. Your Sales Executive told me that it is fast (256KBPS). But now the problem is - Your modem gives me a very poor (10kbps) access speed. It is so unfortunate. Give me some advice by which I can access my net as first as possible.

I have recently purchased tata indicom's cdma1Xusb modem ...
They claim to provide a speed of 153 Kbs but the browsing speed is not even half of that ..During the day its almost impossible to surf.Messenger keeps on disconnecting due to weak connection and none of the browser software seem to load pages.The poorest internet facility in Inida.Very Sad and they don't seem to do anything about it.They continue to hceat customers.As a responsible consumer i strongly recommend no one use tata indicom servies.

SInce 23rd Aug 2009 my internet connection konked off and since then i have been giving complaints to Tata Broadband service providers
The dumbos could not even detect the problem for fisrt 5 days and were misguiding me that thier server was down .
After that the next story started that there is a wire cut in some place.
So now they wasted another one week saying that they are solving the problem
But in fact there is no wire cut as other using tata around my area are not having any such problems.
So today after 15 days i am still without internet
ANd the worst part
Several times i asked for a refund of my money
and i got the answer that there is no refund system in TATA

TATA Mobile has been disconnected my mobile number with out any information on 24-10-2009 @ morning. I continually follow-up to TATA indicom costumer care but still I am facing the same problem.
My all business transaction depending upon mymobile phone. And now I am facing some financial problem due to this problem.
I have talk on 24-10-2009 morning regarding disconnected my mobile number on [protected]. I dont know the person but he tell me it will done in 4-5 hours but still the problem is not solved. and when I will call to this number [protected]) the person is not pickup my phone and switch off his cell.

I have been a TATA indicom customer for only a couple of days.
For the connection i took the business plan which has a rent of rs 499 with a landline free calls of rs 200, usage of 2GB free..
In 4-5 days i have recieved a call saying i will have to pay some rs.1000 odd for usage..!. weird 5 days of usage..
phoned the customer care, they say my plan was for 1GB and not 2GB.. first LIE.. GOOD GOING MR. TATA to attract customer by teaching employee's to LIE...
then the customer care person says i have used 4GB odd in 5 days..!.. has per what i know for all these years for internet usage.. if a plan says 2GB usage.. it means i can download 2gb for the month.. but this person tells me tht it also includes any internet page opened also..!1.. NEVER KNEW THIS..
Also during installation, i had confirmed that i will be trying it for a couple of days and then confirming.. For this i was told i can call up and cancell the connection if i dont like it.. now the customer care person tell me i will have to pay up soon.. i have already told him to send a person to take the router and cancell the connection ASAP...
THIS IS CLEARLY NOT THE WAY TO ATTRACT CUSTOMERS.. BY TELLING ONE THING AND GOING ANOTHER..

I bought one Tata mobile pre paid mobile from sultanpur, UP(no.[protected]) after fulfilling all requirements but after sometime they stopped my service saying i have not submitted my document again I submitted my full document required along with detail of one of my postpaid mobile number with same name and address which is functioning.But after some time they said we have not received your compleate papers and stopped my services.Now sultan pur prepaid office saying that they have send my documents to lucknow office .so contact to lucknow office.So I am very much upset with this kind of response.
I have applied for TATA INDICOM BROADBAND PLAN (In 3009 Rs. 3 Months Unlimited) on 5-DEC-2009 at Shivajinagar office, Pune. On
15-DEC-2009 I got call from TATA INDICOM that the photo on your Identification proof is not visible so please submit any other Identification proof. So on the same day I submitted my Passport Xerox as identity proof and the TATA INDICOM executive told me that you will get your connection in 48 hrs(i.e. 18-DEC-09). But after 48 hrs I didn’t received any call from executive for connection. Last Saturday(19-DEC-09) I called more than 20 times TATA INDICOM executive on his phone but he didn’t respond to me. Only once he replied me and told me that I’ll check and let you know in 10 mins. but after an hour when I didn’t received call I call him again. After 10-15 attempt of calling him he picked up the call and started telling me that “Sir this is not the way of calling me if I am not receiving you call that means I m busy. You should not call me again and again”.
Now it’s almost 2 weeks completed but I didn’t get any call for Connection.
i recd curret bill.but some charges are unexpacted.when i did not use this service.pls revese this charges and clloect my exculdind bill amount.if u dont revese this charges then i will go to cousummer court.

Many time I recieved calls from your department regarding finding my address by courier service people.In response to that, today [protected]) I made a call to 121 at 5:59 pm and suggested them some corrections in my address to make it easily searchable.In response to my this request I recieved a telephone call of some Mr Rahul of Tata Indicom([protected]) at 6:05pm to 6:08pm dated 21-01-10 to suggest him some corrections in my address like Delhi-110054 instead of New Delhi-110054, which was recorded in your record by your staff's mistake and also to mention that my residence is inside (THE MALL APARTMENTS) society which is quite famous in our area to help courier people to find my house conviniently.To which above mentioned Mr Rahul replied very arrogantly and rudely that it cannot be done without proof.When I told him it is a very simple correction which can be done on telephone request.The fellow replied in the negative, very rudely.Whwn I told him if you people won't corporate and will behave like this then I shall be compelled to shift to some other telecom company to which he replied we don't care if you shift to the other company.just dial 121 for this.

On Jan 31, they asked me by sms to pay 2155 rupees as interim payment
and disconnected the numbner
on feb 1, i made the payment thru SBI internet banking on 9.55 AM
tata indicom website immediately recognized it and sent me a online reciept whose referrence number MSBI0021647229.
Even after 3 hour of payment, my number is still not active.
My question is, when i paid the amount through internet banking and tata indicom website immediately acknowledged it, then how it takes more than 3 hours and then even internet is not activated ?

I am currently using Tata Indicom broadband..I just wanted to share my horrible experience with u guyz..the network of Tata Indicom is the worst..u would be lucky if u got one hour of uninterrupted services..and after repeated complaints, it hardly makes any difference..I will never ever subscribe Tata Indicom broadband services in my life again, neither will I recommend it to my friends, but may be I 'l tell a few people I dont wanna see online, that its network is great..

I took a new connection by paying Rs 2000/- but the services got deactivated soon. I have made some 25 calls or more to their customer care number and I am fed up and gave up. They have never restored my connections. tata is a big cheat. Dont go with them.

This is a frustraiting moment for me, because of Tataindicom broadband. Some agent (Mr Ghalpade) has taken rs3500 from me by promising to give a broadband connection with Tataindicom receipt. But couldnt able to give a connection for 2 months then I continiously followed up so he taken back the receipt to give back my deposit. He didnt turn back now I enquired with Tata indicom office at Pune. They have all the details of this agent but one fine day office replied bacj saying the person is absconding and they also register a complaint against him.
Its was fare till now but after this an officer naming Mr Sumeet/Samit, Khalid, promised me to give the where abouts of this person, within couple of days but they didnt return. I doubt these officers are involved in this scam. Thats why they are not answering my call.
This is not expected from a Tata broup of companies.

I have been using tata indicom cell phone for the past few years and have been satisfied with the services but i regret to say that for the past 1 month i m frequently facing problems with the phone and the customer care services-
On 11-04-2010 i recharged my cell with a balance of Rs100/- and on 15-04-2010 hello tune has been set on my number and Rs30/- has beeen deducted eventhough i didn't request for any hello tunes.
Then again i recharged my cell on 24-04-2010 and same thing was repeated, i was charged Rs30/- on 29-04-2010 for the hello tune which was not requested by me.
On complaining to the customer care they showed no interest in our problem and failed to help us out.
i want to know how can i be charged for hello tunes twice within 15 days and why am i getting hello tunes without my request.

I am having Tata Indicom WiMax connection with userid (sirfsaif@vsnl.net) from Gurgaon, Haryana. I am posting this complain that I have experienced very pathetic and disgusting services from Tata Indicom. It has been more than 2 months since internet connection installed at my home after paying 4 months advance. I have not been able to use Internet even for 2 days due to constant unavailability of internet connection.
I am residing in a 12 floor building and my flat locates at 10th floor. The dish for internet was installed at 1st floor at discretion of the person residing at 1st floor which is neither under my control nor under Tata communications. I am facing unplugged cable from Dish due to which I m helpless in using Internet.
It has been more than 15 days while registering my complaint but till date I have not received any resolution. I want to disconnect with the services and demanding refund of my money which I paid as 4 months advance.
I was using TATA INDICOM'S DSL INTERNET CONNECTION SINCE PAST MORE THAN 1 YEAR.
The Connection Tariff was as: Unlimited Download from 8 pm to 8 am and if i use it in day time, then there was a charge of 40 paise per mb download. o charges for Upload.
Suddenly TATA INDICOM has changed my plan without informing me and without my consent and approval, they have changed the plan and charged me higher for the same plan.
