I had booked for a tataindicom broadband connection. I had got in touch with the sales person and he visited my residence, as per procedure and collected all the necessary documents and i paid him 500/- as cash, 50/- as his charge! Well i was promised the connection in 2 days, but its already 15 days now and still i have no clue whats the status of my connection. Well the sales guy whom i had contacted doesn't pick my call. I called up customer care to check about it, but they asked for application number. I stated the application no which was mentioned on the form, but they said its invalid and they cant help!
Well my question Is TataI ndicom is aware about these sales guys, as that guy had a ID of the Co? If so how can they say that they are responsible?
Well i have submitted documents also, i am not sure whom to approach! But i would request others please don't trust the sales guys, they are more or less cheaters! Please be careful before submitting your documents. Don't pay the deposit until and unless u get the connection!

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
I inquired about the Post-connection of TATA INDICOM for the Delhi/ NCR Circle from Mr Dhermendra ([protected]) from the Head office in Delhi at the okhla at Mathura Road.
I asked for the STD services and he pursued me for nearly a week even at the odd time to take the connection (349/- rental with STD & LOCAL Free for 349/-) and after that the call charges will be Rs1/- for STD and Rs0.50/- for Local irrespective to the landline or cell or service provider as the case may be.
I agreed and he approached me on 24th May at 9:30 PM and took all the documents and Rs 500/- and gave me a carbon copy of the customer application form (no DL [protected]) and promised me to deliver the SIM on 25th ie on Sunday (Note that he said that TATA INDICOM PERSONNALS HAS TO WORK EVEN ON SUNDAYS), but the very next day i could n’t get any correspondence from his side. This is not the end even on Monday on 26th May 2008 he didn’t picked up any of my call and even kept his cell off for all the time during the working hours . This made me to lodge a complaint at the TATA INDICOM Customer Care and minutes after the complaints was lodged i got a call from the Chandigarh from MR Raman (no [protected]), he promised me to deliver the sim within the next 24 hours, this made me to have a feel good factor. But all my happiness turned into sadness when again i got a call from the Faridabad no [protected]), Mr Manjeet asked me for Rs.99/- for the new sim, promising that the rs.99/- will be adjusted in my 1st Bill and what gave me a big shock that he told me that there is no as such pal which was offered to me.The plan which i was offered was only for local free calls and there is no as such provision for the free STD calls. This was a great shock to me when he told that the Rs.500/- which i gave to Mr Dhermendra are not reflecting in the system as if i haven’t made any payment.
I immediately made call to Mr Dhermendera to confirm the same and to add on to my disappointment he said “ he has to confirm it” .again he called me up saying that “ there are no free STD calls but only local calls for Rs349/- are free”. Then he approached me at 10:00 PM in the night requesting me to take the SIM, which i denied as that was not having the plan as promised to me.
Today i again got calls from the Chandigarh office, and they promised me to look into the matter asap, but till now there are no updates. Now i’m fed up with the services of TATA INDICOM presuming that if it can cause so much trouble at the start then what would be the scenario at the later stage.
I kindly request you to look into this matter and plz help me to get my Rs500/- back .

This is to inform you that I had purchased with good intention that Tata Indicom will give good service to me. When I purchased I had given my ID Proof of Voter ID and other documents to the dealer. But to my utter surprise the service has been stopped due to non deposit of ID Proof. Again I had to visit the the Tata Indicom office in Connaught Place and submitted the ID Proof. Still my mobile No. [protected] is not activated. From this one can understand how the Tata Indicom is giving service to their clients i.e. very poor and harrassment for buying Tata Indicom Prepaid connection. Hence I would request you to please activate the same at the earliest.

i purchased surf2 whiz connection on 14th may, 2008, under your scheme of 2 months unlimited surfing and download free. but, now im constantly getting calls and smss about my high usage bills. i confirmed again with the dealer, but he says the scheme is available to me. even after complaining to the dealer, i recieve the calls again. after i maild my complaint to their nodal office, instead of solving the matter, they are demading money from me, threatening to cut the connection and even saying that we can get a discount on our bill, which was promisd to be free to us! some executives ask us to submit few percentage of the bill. what is all this non-sense? when executievs say to resolve and get back to us in few minutes, they never turn back! this is not expected from a co. like TATA who has the trust of people. i could have taken an unlimited plan earlier if it was not promised to me that for 2 months i wont get any bill. is that a tactic to sell your product by lieing to customers?

I am operating a Smart PCO at Raigarh City (Chhattisgarh) I want to mention that at the time of purchasing the connection I was promised for the Best Service but I found that you are providing Worst Service because Since Last 2 Months I am not getting the Recharge Voucher as there is no dealer in my city.
I dont know where to get the Prepaid Recharge.
Either pl arrange to provice PPRCV or Collect back the instrument and refund the Amount that you have collected against the connection.

Yes Mahendra, I completely agree with you as I too faced the same problem. They sent reminders and calls even 1 year after disconnecting the phone and surrendering their instrument. Its a completely disorganized serrvice... shameful on the part of tata.

I have got a call to our office tata indicom landline saying that they have a good offer in the mobile connections. So I have taken 2 mobile connections by giving my individual address proof and asked them many times that this connection should be in my individual name but they have activated in the company's name. I have requested them to change the name and address from the company's name to individuals name and once again I have given all the address proof of my residence. They have come for the verification also and still after 2 months of the verification still they have not transferred into individual. I am facing lots of problems from my head office. I am fed up of this. I decided not to use Tata Indicom (Mobile, Landline, Broadband) in my life time and I called many times to the customer care and still there is no response.
I request you all not to have relationships with tata indicom as they are not giving a proper service to anyone. I am a great example for this.

I had the Tata Indicom internet service paying for the year in advance, it worked very sparingly and the service iks pathetic. the standard reply was that someone will call me back, which never happened for 364 days. This was the cable running into my home and this cable used to be elsewhere by the TV cable operators and I had to struggle, at times, I used to reboot my system so0 many times in a day thinking it could be a problem with the laptop, but it was not.
It worked for not more then 32 days for the year, no compensation from the billing department, as they knew they could not provide uninterupted connection.
I dont know, why Tata's has to continue with such businesses which is impacting the credib ility that they have built in India for the past few decades.

I completely endorse your view about TATA Indicom being the worst company ever in the telecom industry. Their customer service is PATHETIC.
I had purchased a TATA Indicom USB modem on Aug. 6, 2008, and was promised activation within 4 days which never happened. I applied for discontinuation of the service and returned the USB modem (I applied for cancellation on Aug. 16, 2008) and was informed that I would be getting the deposit refund (Rs. 700 only) after 45 days of the cancellation. It is now 3 months and I still have no clue as to what happened to the refund.
An employee of TATA Indicom (office in Kormangala, Bangalore), Anup, promised to get it done asap. But whenever I message him or try to call him up, he neither replies to my messages nor answers my phone calls. I suspect that the money must have disappeared into his pocket already.
Does that company have any responsibility towards its customers? I doubt.
PLEASE be cautious while dealing with TATA Indicom if you value your time and hard-earned money.

I have post paid connection & never use internet but wrong /fraud billing bave been caught but tata indicom is not abe to give justification.

I connect to tata broadband because I was shifted to a new address and so bsnl will take much time to give a new connection. I got tata connection from august 2008 and till now I have complained over 40 times. Sometimes link was gone sometimes server was down. Till December they usually solved the problems between 24 hr [but not every time]. But in December I complained over 8 times and nothing is completely solved. Now the link is going frequently. Their speed is much lower than bsnl [as I was a bsnl user previous at same speed limit]. Today their service man called me you got 80% speed but why 80% not 100%? I am on unlimited 512 plan and a postpaid user and when I was upgrading my plan from unlimited 384 to unlimited 512 they said me I will get back a 500 rupees. But after 1 month when I asked for that money back they told the offer is withdrawn 4-5 days before I changed my plan. But he told me at same moment when I was giving application. I am a lucky person because I have a tata mobile with free tata to tata facility. But I have to go out of home for make out going call as there no indoor signal. But can you say which company gives better service in India? We home user have to suffer by them. You take 100 connections at same name and threat if they will not solve the prob. You will give up all connections they will take quick action. I experienced it on tata indicom plug to surf connection. I will share you it later

I have purchased a prepaid connection at bangalore and I submitted my properly filled up documents right at this moment. But after about 3 days my outgoing calls were blocked and when I contacted the customer care they told me that they have not received my documents. I submitted the documents again and after this my outgoing calls were blocked. After being frustrated for about 15 days I decided to get a new connection and now I purchased a new prepaid connection. Now again after submitting my documents I have received a sms that they have not received my documents. I don't know what to do.

I have applied for a tata indicom sim, which was allotted on 30/6/2009, no is [protected]
I purchase the handset on 12/7/2009 & insert the sim for the first time on 13/7/2009.
On 13/7/2009 I have received a call from Bombay that your bill amt is 1700.
How can this possible?
In fact on 13/7/2009 I have received a welcome call on my personal no [protected].
I think that may be this no is pre allotted as it is not in the current running series which my friends hold.
My plan is 225 pm.

Today i again got calls from the Chandigarh office, and they promised me to look into the matter asap, but till now there are no updates. Now i’m fed up with the services of TATA INDICOM presuming that if it can cause so much trouble at the start then what would be the scenario at the later stage.
I kindly request you to look into this matter and plz help me to get my Rs500/- back .

This is to inform you that I had purchased with good intention that Tata Indicom will give good service to me. When I purchased I had given my ID Proof of Voter ID and other documents to the dealer. But to my utter surprise the service has been stopped due to non deposit of ID Proof. Again I had to visit the the Tata Indicom office in Connaught Place and submitted the ID Proof. Still my mobile No. [protected] is not activated. From this one can understand how the Tata Indicom is giving service to their clients i.e. very poor and harrassment for buying Tata Indicom Prepaid connection. Hence I would request you to please activate the same at the earliest.

i purchased surf2 whiz connection on 14th may, 2008, under your scheme of 2 months unlimited surfing and download free. but, now im constantly getting calls and smss about my high usage bills. i confirmed again with the dealer, but he says the scheme is available to me. even after complaining to the dealer, i recieve the calls again. after i maild my complaint to their nodal office, instead of solving the matter, they are demading money from me, threatening to cut the connection and even saying that we can get a discount on our bill, which was promisd to be free to us! some executives ask us to submit few percentage of the bill. what is all this non-sense? when executievs say to resolve and get back to us in few minutes, they never turn back! this is not expected from a co. like TATA who has the trust of people. i could have taken an unlimited plan earlier if it was not promised to me that for 2 months i wont get any bill. is that a tactic to sell your product by lieing to customers?

I am operating a Smart PCO at Raigarh City (Chhattisgarh) I want to mention that at the time of purchasing the connection I was promised for the Best Service but I found that you are providing Worst Service because Since Last 2 Months I am not getting the Recharge Voucher as there is no dealer in my city.

I have got a call to our office tata indicom landline saying that they have a good offer in the mobile connections. So I have taken 2 mobile connections by giving my individual address proof and asked them many times that this connection should be in my individual name but they have activated in the company's name. I have requested them to change the name and address from the company's name to individuals name and once again I have given all the address proof of my residence. They have come for the verification also and still after 2 months of the verification still they have not transferred into individual. I am facing lots of problems from my head office. I am fed up of this. I decided not to use Tata Indicom (Mobile, Landline, Broadband) in my life time and I called many times to the customer care and still there is no response.
I request you all not to have relationships with tata indicom as they are not giving a proper service to anyone. I am a great example for this.

I had the Tata Indicom internet service paying for the year in advance, it worked very sparingly and the service iks pathetic. the standard reply was that someone will call me back, which never happened for 364 days. This was the cable running into my home and this cable used to be elsewhere by the TV cable operators and I had to struggle, at times, I used to reboot my system so0 many times in a day thinking it could be a problem with the laptop, but it was not.
It worked for not more then 32 days for the year, no compensation from the billing department, as they knew they could not provide uninterupted connection.
I dont know, why Tata's has to continue with such businesses which is impacting the credib ility that they have built in India for the past few decades.

I completely endorse your view about TATA Indicom being the worst company ever in the telecom industry. Their customer service is PATHETIC.
I had purchased a TATA Indicom USB modem on Aug. 6, 2008, and was promised activation within 4 days which never happened. I applied for discontinuation of the service and returned the USB modem (I applied for cancellation on Aug. 16, 2008) and was informed that I would be getting the deposit refund (Rs. 700 only) after 45 days of the cancellation. It is now 3 months and I still have no clue as to what happened to the refund.
An employee of TATA Indicom (office in Kormangala, Bangalore), Anup, promised to get it done asap. But whenever I message him or try to call him up, he neither replies to my messages nor answers my phone calls. I suspect that the money must have disappeared into his pocket already.
Does that company have any responsibility towards its customers? I doubt.
PLEASE be cautious while dealing with TATA Indicom if you value your time and hard-earned money.
No one from customer care division know about the actual product billing system and proper feed back .the worst part is they close the complain without giving expanation to customer.
I have post paid connection & never use internet but wrong /fraud billing bave been caught but tata indicom is not abe to give justification.

I connect to tata broadband because I was shifted to a new address and so bsnl will take much time to give a new connection. I got tata connection from august 2008 and till now I have complained over 40 times. Sometimes link was gone sometimes server was down. Till December they usually solved the problems between 24 hr [but not every time]. But in December I complained over 8 times and nothing is completely solved. Now the link is going frequently. Their speed is much lower than bsnl [as I was a bsnl user previous at same speed limit]. Today their service man called me you got 80% speed but why 80% not 100%? I am on unlimited 512 plan and a postpaid user and when I was upgrading my plan from unlimited 384 to unlimited 512 they said me I will get back a 500 rupees. But after 1 month when I asked for that money back they told the offer is withdrawn 4-5 days before I changed my plan. But he told me at same moment when I was giving application. I am a lucky person because I have a tata mobile with free tata to tata facility. But I have to go out of home for make out going call as there no indoor signal. But can you say which company gives better service in India? We home user have to suffer by them. You take 100 connections at same name and threat if they will not solve the prob. You will give up all connections they will take quick action. I experienced it on tata indicom plug to surf connection. I will share you it later

I have purchased a prepaid connection at bangalore and I submitted my properly filled up documents right at this moment. But after about 3 days my outgoing calls were blocked and when I contacted the customer care they told me that they have not received my documents. I submitted the documents again and after this my outgoing calls were blocked. After being frustrated for about 15 days I decided to get a new connection and now I purchased a new prepaid connection. Now again after submitting my documents I have received a sms that they have not received my documents. I don't know what to do.
I also have a complaint that its about 2 years ago i have disconnected tata connection Numbered ([protected] in name of vikas) & i got a cheque of refund amount of 1500/- which i dropped in drop box with other 2 cheques. but tata cheque was misplaced i dont know the reason behind that. But I request them for other cheque but till date i dont got any cheque neither any response after 6 months of misplace cheque.
