Have tried to secure a release of lien to close on a property and my attorney has offered to prepare and they keep stalling. Tax Ease is costing me a real estate deal. They are not releasing the lien with no reason. It has been over 6 weeks. Keep stalling the title company. Just want the release of lien for ***.

They said if I make payment arrangements the foreclosure will stop. What can I do to get them to contact me

I have continuously received the runaround in my request for a payment arrangement. A tax lien from delinquent property taxes as a result of my mother's was sold to Tax Ease LLC. At the time of sale, the amount was between $2,000 and $3,000. I have contacted this company numerous times and they keep giving me the run around of when I could set up a payment plan. There is absolutely no communication with me unless I am to reach out to them. Meanwhile, are charges and interest accruing? If so, I have asked for a payment plan to start MONTHS ago. Here is a timeline of events: July 8th--Initial contact was made via email and asked if arrangements could be made July 8th--Response from a representative Shanna W was received and that they would submit a request for attorney fees and that the process to make arrangements could take 24-48hours. July 15--Email was sent to the company asking for an update July 15--Company sent email back with attachment to sign for a payment plan for the amount of $4,701.25 July 17--An email was received from representative Shanna W stating that the attached arrangement agreement was incorrect, it needed to be updated and I would receive it by the end of the day July 23--I reached out and asked for an update July 24--I received a response back stating that the paperwork and arrangement was "still in review" August 3--I email and asked for an update August 4--Representative Shanna W responded and stated that she hoped to get me an update by the end of the day. August 7--Representative Shanna W sent an email stating they were waiting for a complaint to be filed to create a payment plan and I should hear something back by the end of the month September 3--An email was sent and asked for an update September 9--An email was received from representative Shanna W who stated that at the time, the complaint had not been filed. October 10--I have not heard a single thing from this company and am completely fed up with chasing them to make a payment. Each and every time that I have made contact, I have been given an excuse as to why and where my account is. Does it really take this long to make a payment arrangement? I am realistic and understand that systems and the courts are backed up due to COVID. However, this is a little excessive. I am trying to do the right thing and start repayment. However, are they continuing to string me along so that they can continue to assess my account fees and interest? My next step is to seek legal counsel. This is completely ridiculous that it has taken this long and with this many excuses.
I paid off tax ease back in June
I paid off tax ease back in June . I am now closing on the sell of the property and the buyers title company says there is a lien against it from tax ease. They never filed a release of lien. I'm supposed to close on Friday and there is no headway on tax ease releasing the lien...nothing about when or why? I'm just waiting...I guess at the convenience of whenever management gets around to it! Which has been around 4 years evidently. Someone in management please look at your emails and listen to your voice mails because I'm at an impasse *** would like to move on in my life. XXXXXXXX account number

This company is so corrupt I cannot believe they can still practice business
This company is so corrupt I cannot believe they can still practice business. There is not enough room to tell you why. I entered into an agreement to pay back taxes for my mother's property. They have screwed up every detail and charged for fees for their mistakes. I have proof that they agreed and will remove the fees, however they continue to show on my on line statement which is always wrong. I have no way of knowing how much more I owe and when it will be settled, no one will speak with me and I should be provided with information on what is paid and what is owed and when it will be completed. HOrrible business and predators at their best!

This company over charged me considerably and tried to foreclose on my home
This company over charged me considerably and tried to foreclose on my home. I used this company for years to pay my property taxes. In November last year I received a collection notice from a law firm for the amt of 5,000.00. I immediately called and spoke with Luciana *** who took a payment from me and said if I set up recurring payments, I'd be fine. I called a few days later, I called to make sure everything was taken care of. She was not available. I called again in December and was then told that if I paid 500.00 in fees AND paid half of the past due, I'd be ok. In January this year I received Legal documents saying they intended to take my home. I immediately retained an attorney. He contacted the entities involved and found out that I'd been overcharged by this company... they overcharged me $607.42 and they also collected $3,342.45 from me AFTER they assigned it to another company! The other company tried to foreclose and when my attorney informed the new company, the foreclosure was immediately dropped! Tax Ease is overcharging AND collecting money that isn't theirs!...my attorney has also sent a demand letter, to which they've not yet responded .

We did a 2 year contract with Tax Ease and paid all that we were suppose to pay
We did a 2 year contract with Tax Ease and paid all that we were suppose to pay. I asked them when we got the contract if this was all we owed including fees and all and they said yes this was everything we owed. Nothing else. We just received another bill a couple weeks ago of $300 owed for fees. I reluctantly paid not knowing why they said we failed to pay that amount which was not true we made all the payments. They called me a week later and I missed the call so called back to find out they are saying we owe more money in attorney fees and what. That was never put in the agreement and we paid ALL OF WHAT THEY SAID WAS OWED. They gave me an email to send my papers showing how much we paid to them which they should knock if they keep such good records. I emailed the copies several times for it to come back undelivered. I have called a couple times now and have left a couple messages for them to please return my call on this and nobody has yet returned my call. I feel like they do this so they don't have to deal with you and to buy theirselves time to do what they want to do. I feel this company bleeds people instead of working with them to help them. I feel this company is very dishonest in their doings and can't be trusted by any means. I have not heard good things about them from anyone. We paid a very large sum of money to these people and we want this resolved and the liens off our home since we worked for two years to pay everything owed and worked hard to make this all right

We've been making automated payments on liens, but Tax Ease started the foreclosure process without warning
We've been making automated payments on liens, but Tax Ease started the foreclosure process without warning. They have now stopped communicating. We had a tax lien sold to Tax Ease a while ago and have been paying on that through automated payments monthly. Last December, we were informed that they had been sold other tax liens on our property and that our payments were going to increase. We talked with Luciana Watt and setup the new payments, asked if there was anything else we needed to do, and were told there was nothing else to do. The monthly payments have continued to come out on time, as scheduled, at the increased amount, but we received notifications on 8/5 that the foreclosure/sheriff's sale process had been started. We contacted the company that evening and were told that there was a contract to agree to the payment schedule that we had never signed. We asked for the paperwork to be sent again, and for a payoff amount. We were told the payoff amount was an estimate because there were lawyer fees. When we got the new paperwork we signed it and returned it the morning of 8/7. Digging in my email I did find and old email sent by and intermediate company that looked like spam asking me to sign documents on 12/11- I ignored it because it looked sketchy and didn't come from Tax Ease (and had been told there was nothing else to do). I did get confirmation on 8/7 that the paperwork had been received. Also, on 8/7 we sent a check from our bank to them for the payoff amount of $11,009.25. We then checked with their lawyer about making sure that everything we needed to do had been done in order to stop the foreclosure process. He advised us that there was a "Consent to Judgement" paper that we should also fill out, but hadn't been sent, plus I don't believe that this counsel was in our favor. He also said that there was nothing he could do on his end and that the process would continue until he received notice from the company to stop it. Therefore, we have tried to get a hold of the company multiple times since 8/7 (twice that day, once the following Mon 8/10 and again on Wed 8/12) we left messages for the calls to be returned on 8/7 and 8/10, but have not heard back from them for a week, and are filing this complaint on 8/12.

Initiated a sheriff's sale on my home in Dec 2020 after advising me in Sept I had 36 mos to pay off the debt. I contacted TaxEase on July 21 to make payment arrangements clearly stating my earnings and current hardship. Shana W responded via email after unsuccessful ***empts to reach them by phone. Ms W sent a payment arrangement that I could not afford, I sent what I could afford and asked if they would work with me. Their response was to send a new payment plan that was almost double the original amount of debt owed with the added verbiage that they reserved the right to add additional debt for unforeseen charges that may occur in the future. I let them know I was willing to pay my debt but this was not possible. I asked what my options were and Ms W stated on Sept 18th that I had 36 mos to pay all liens in full. On Dec 31st I received a legal notice stating a sheriff's sale was scheduled for Jan 18 2021.
