One year ago, my wife and I purchased a new home from Taylor Morrison. During the selection process, we were provided with a Canvas document that outlined the specifications of our home, including our desired upgrades and selections. We carefully reviewed this document and signed the contract based on our understanding of the agreed-upon specifications.
However, upon moving into our new home, we discovered that several upgrades and selections were missing. Further investigation revealed that the Canvas document shared with the construction team was different from the one we received, resulting in the omission of these features. These missing upgrades included upgraded fixtures like faucets, showers, lighting, and a pedestal sink. Additionally, the interior and exterior paint colors were not as specified in the Canvas document.
We immediately contacted our sales agent, who acknowledged the discrepancy and assured us that they would work with Taylor Morrison management to resolve the matter. Despite numerous follow-ups and assurances, we have yet to receive a satisfactory resolution.
We are deeply disappointed by Taylor Morrison's handling of this situation. We feel misled and deceived by the discrepancy in the Canvas documents and are concerned about the inconvenience and potential financial burden this has caused us.
We urge Taylor Morrison to investigate this matter thoroughly and provide us with a prompt and equitable resolution. We hope that Taylor Morrison will value our business and take the necessary steps to restore our trust in the company.
Desired outcome: immediate installation of the missing upgrades, complete repainting of the exterior of the home, and possible solution interior. compensation for the inconvenience caused by this situation.
