This is regarding my TCL TV Model no:55P615 service issue. I purchased my TV on 30.04.2021 with a 3 years warranty. It was working fine till last year (2022). But from Jan 2023 there was a spoke formation in the LED which was not clear by itself. On 22.11.2023 I raised a service request for this issue. Since TCL stopped manufacturing this model (TV P615) they don't have a new spare (LED) to replace my defective LED. So I have been informed by the service center agent (Mr.Thangamani from Sai Agency) that we will provide you a new TV instead of a part replacement which I also agreed to. I got a call from the service center person ([protected]) yesterday (29.11.2023) saying that our new TV has come and we will come and deliver and install the same by today itself. They came to my house with a box which I have a lot of concerns about.
1. They have come with a SEAL OPENED BOX which is supposed to be a new and sealed box.
2. The box itself says (It is not for retail sale and it is only for the purpose of recycling to facilitate effective utilization of resources.
3. The serial number which is mentioned in the box and the TV are not the same. There is a mismatch.
4. And the major point is, the product which I have received was also a defective product. The problem is, If we turn on the TV with the remote it will work for the 1st 5 minutes and after that we cannot able to control the TV with the remote it will be stuck. The beauty is we bought a new TV remote from the same Service Centre (Sai Agency) on 25.11.2023.
