billing
My wife went to emergency room for treatment. Now receiving bill from teamhealth for facility visit. Insurance was billed $1486.00 and paid $1364.95 leaving me with a 121.05 bill. spoke to my wife and she says the only thing she remembers about this doctor is that all he did was walk into room and ask how she was feeling, that was it. So charge my insurance for asking how she was feeling? Nothing like being charged for useless service. Paying bill but never again.
ER services
I went to the ER at Leesburg Regional Medical
I have no idea who Team Health is, they sent a bill charging me 1947.00.
When I received the 1st bill I figured it was Fraud but I paid them 20.00 just in case, asked for a detail bill never received, the next bill never included the 20.00 payment.
Are they a legit company? Need to know before I submit any more payment
Medical bill that has been paid by the insurance company
This billing company keeps sending me a statement for a doctor's visit in March 2019. This bill was paid by Florida Health Care Plans on December 07, 2020. However, I continue to receive the same bill for $119.00. I can't get anyone smart enough to help me resolve the issue. I have called and emailed and still NOT resolved! To make matters worse I over paid my co-pay. I'm actually owed $5.00 back.
Desired outcome: I want to stop recieving a bill and I want my over payment of $5.00 reimbursed.
Billing scam
I've been on workers Comp and all bills have been paid through them. I have all documents showing these bills going through them. Well I received a bill for these visits almost 4 months after original bill. I call them and explained it was paid through WC and if she has any issues contact them. She told me it was my responsibility and wanted more personal info. I told her I would not give her any info other then the WC agent and I would let my WC lawyer know as well. She then hung up. Sounds like a fishing scam hoping to get paid on things already paid.
Horrible customer services
My dad visited the ER of Regional Medical Center on December 24th, 2019. Then around March 2020, I received the bill from TeamHealth Alcoa Billing Center through mail notice that we owed the doctor 1, 325.00. So I go to their website right away and tried to reach out to their representatives via live chat to ask them if there were any mistakes on their...

So I get a bill today that says "past due". Couldn't be correct, I had received a bill in MAY, and advised them that my Insurance company was paying them. Worked with BOTH of them to get the matter resolved, with Team Health stating "We'll send you a bill for the difference". Never received a bill. I log onto the site, and between the bill mailed in May...
Read full review of TeamHealthHaving to pay extra when bill was paid by medicare
Have been charged extra by team health 3 different times after bills were forgiven by Kad-Lec hospital system in Washington. No information that "team health" would be adding their own charges during ER visits, when you don't have time to have your attorney review what you are signing. They are like the vermin that carried the Black Plague. I was awakened at 5:10 am on Sunday the 7th to be reminded that they had yet another bill that I had to pay them. VERY poor practices for a group who claims they "CARE" about the people who have the least ability to pay extra for their medical services to start with. I want the word to get out about the doctors associated with this group and how much they really don't give damn about your health as long as they get the extra money. Watch out for these shysters. Doctors chose their profession and, at least used to, had an oath they lived up to but it seems that has gone the way of the DODO birds.
collections practice
Account# [protected]-400 I got a account in my credit report, I called the hospital (I am paying to them) claim is the doctor office bill. I called spoke with the representative tried to explian I never get any bill or collections notices she start saying is my fault, why I never call (she already make the assumption I am lying) I explain the only bill I got was from the hospital and my bill is already in payments plan.
I just got a paper from the collections agency (I mailed a validation letter since they never gave me any 30 days notification) only stated the amount, I ask for the itemized bill and claim is under the hospital records they dont have any records they dont know what they are charging I need ask TO the hospital. Today I got the bill which make me have 180 days before they report in my credit, but they illegally report at NOVEMBER 2018 60 days after they make the bill (A bill I never got it).
I request a records of the codes and itemized statement from the doctor since they only have a number I want to know why I am paying to the doctor and for what (I am aware of they practice overcharge fees)
Stop illegal collections activities against my credit.
The supervisor Suki M gave me a fax # [protected] and mail adress PO BOX 9005 Alcoa TN 37701. THE FAX BELOW TO A insurance company, or either just make it up or just covering an illegal practice.
Received a text message from TeamHealth sail I owed a $1055 for emergency room visit in February that was paid by the VA. Went to the link in the text message and the first thing was to log in with my SSN so I stopped right there. This has to be a scam trying to collect again on a bill that was already paid.
emergency room visit
Cut my hand on a broken water glass doing dishes and had to go to local emergency room for stiches. Didn't have any insurance and was reluctant to go do to cost of what I figured would be around 500 dollars. I was there for 2hrs and recieved 6 stiches. The hospital billed me a few weeks later for 370 dollars which I manageed to pay and thought that was the bill. Now 8wks later I get bill from Ohio billing co. for the doctor. I did not see the doctor only his associate NP. They again billed me for the emergency room, 268.00 and 465.00 for the stich work, for a total of 733 dollars. My little finger is not worth that much and I would have not gone to the ER if I was told price up front. So total cost of 2hr visit is over 1100 dollars...I do believe that is outrageous. A mechanic would go out of business if he billed and charged that way for car repair. We need health care reform badly in this county! Only the rich can have it and treatment is based solely on ability to pay nowdays...the poor and uninsured get little or nothing.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
was prompt to pay them and then realized they never filed my insurance. so now i can’t get my money back, from my surgery 3/10 at Ks Spine hospital in Wichita ks.
i keep calling and i get the same excuse… in processing! how long is processing… a yr!?
BBB will be contacted this is WRONG!
Aylin Reyes has absolutely no people skills. Is rude. Has no manners. Has been on her phone the whole time she's taking my vitals. I can not believe these type of people are hired.
