I have been having trouble with Terminex since my last termite inspection. The person came to the door stating that he would not enter unless I was going to buy a service from him. I stated that I could not agree to buy something without knowing what he was selling. Needless to say I received no termite inspection and I sent the representative away from my home and called to report the issue to customer service.
There was a strong skunk smell in the house mid August and asked for a free inspection of the crawl space area. I waited for the representative who never showed up. I called customer service and was rescheduled without an explanation for why the representative didn’t show. Another representative came a week later and looked in the crawl space and said that I would have to schedule another appointment for someone to come back to look in the attic space. After this appointment I called to schedule the next appointment and asked for mouse traps since there was a sighting in the home. The representative stated that someone would call me and bring traps to my home and drop them off, but this never happened. The representative scheduled my 2nd inspection appointment for 9/9/23 and a representative came out after 12:30pm when he was supposed to be at my home between 8-10am. I called the customer service line 2 times for an ETA before he showed up.
After the 2nd inspection on 9/9, I was quoted $6,500 to clean the attic and replace the insulation! The representative also did not have traps with him, so I ended up going out to Lowe’s to purchase my own!
At this point, I have had it with Terminex and after being a customer for the past 20 years, I am getting ready to walk away. I have called to customer service and asked for a manager to call me back. If I don’t get any support, I am leaving this company.
