Disappointing Experience with Terry's Florist: Failed Delivery and Poor Customer Service
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Terry's Florist. I was really counting on them to deliver some flowers for a service today, but they totally let me down. I spent a lot of time comparing different online florists, and I finally settled on Terry's because I really liked the design of the arrangement they had.
I made sure to fill out all the information really clearly, including the name of the recipient, the address of the cemetery, and the time of the service (which was at 11:00am). But when the service came around, there was no flower delivery to be found. Nobody even bothered to call me before 11:00am to let me know what was going on.
After the service was over (around 1:30pm), I saw that I had a missed call from Terry's at 11:30am. I called them back right away, and the guy on the phone told me that the flowers were out for delivery. So I told my family to wait at the cemetery for the delivery, but then at 2:30pm I got a call from a lady who said that they couldn't deliver the flowers today after all. She apologized for the "confusion," but honestly, it was more like a terrible mistake that cost them a lot of credibility in my eyes.
What's the point of having flowers delivered tomorrow when the service was today? Nobody's going to want to come back to Terry's after this kind of experience. I cancelled my order, but I still haven't gotten an email confirmation like they promised.
When I called back to try to get some answers, I kept getting bounced around from person to person. Nobody seemed to want to take responsibility for what had happened. Finally, I talked to a lady named Leanna who actually listened to me and explained that they were short on supply. But if they had told me that earlier, I could have gone to another florist and gotten flowers for the service.
It was really important to me to send flowers to this family, and Terry's totally dropped the ball. They shouldn't be calling it a "confusion" - they should be apologizing for their mistake and doing everything they can to make it right. I'm so upset about this whole thing that I'm going out tonight to order flowers from another florist and send them to the family's home as an apology.
Honestly, if Terry's wants to keep customers, they need to start thinking about how their customers feel and what they need. This whole experience was a huge disappointment.
Disappointing Service from Terry's Florist: No Delivery, No Communication, and Delayed Refund
I placed an order for flowers and gifts on 02/08/2023 with Terry's Florist, and they confirmed the order on 02/09/2023. The delivery date was supposed to be on Valentine's Day, 02/14/2023. However, my wife did not receive her delivery on that day. I thought maybe the flowers and gifts were just going to be a day late due to the busy season. But, the delivery did not show up the next day either. So, I decided to call Terry's Florist at ***738 on 02/15/2023 to inquire about the situation.
I spoke to a customer sales representative and informed her that the money had been taken out of my bank account on 02/14/2023, but there was no delivery made. The customer sales rep then informed me that my order was canceled on 02/14/2023 due to a distribution issue within their warehouse. She said they tried to contact me by phone and email on 02/14/2023, but I did not receive any communication from them. I was disappointed and frustrated that they did not inform me about the cancellation of my order.
I asked to speak with a supervisor, but the customer sales rep told me that there wasn't one available at the moment. I insisted on waiting until the supervisor was available, but she informed me that it would take a while. She then suggested that I ask her any questions that I would have asked the supervisor, and she would answer them. She informed me that a full refund was issued to my card and it would take 3 to 5 business days to receive the funds back. However, she could not give me a confirmation number to substantiate this.
I was left wondering why Terry's Florist took the money out of my account on 02/14/2023, knowing that there was nothing to deliver. They claim that they initiated the refund on the same day, but I received an email with no confirmation number stating that the refund was initiated on the day I called, 02/15/2023. I do not think they planned on giving me a refund until I called to inquire about my order. I am still waiting for my money to be refunded, and I have to wait for 3 to 5 business days to receive it back.
I am disappointed with the service provided by Terry's Florist. They took my money knowing that there was no product to deliver, and they did not inform me about the cancellation of my order. I would not recommend Terry's Florist to anyone. They do not deserve even a one-star review.

Disappointed with Terry's Florist: A Middle Man Company That Complicates the Process and Draws Fees from Customers and Small Businesses
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Terry's Florist. I mean, I can't even give them zero stars, that's how bad it is. I thought I was ordering from a local flower shop, but turns out they're just a middle man. You know, one of those companies that takes orders online and then assigns the work to a small, family-owned flower shop. And here's the thing, they take a cut of the profit from the small business just for assigning the work order. That's not cool, man. It's like a big business charging a fee to a small business just because they paid to show up first in a Google search. And if Terry's Florist didn't exist, we wouldn't have to pay as much for the flowers because there wouldn't be an extra company involved in the transaction.
But that's not even the worst part. This business model creates a longer supply chain, which means more steps in the transaction process. Instead of the flower shop telling the customer what they can provide and taking payment directly, Terry's Florist contacts all the flower shops in the area to fulfill the order through a bidding platform. And that drives down the fee paid to the small business. So the customer ends up paying more, and the middle man company gets a bigger cut. It's just not fair, man.
Let me tell you about my experience. I ordered flowers for my mom and her twin sister who were spending their birthday together for the first time in years. I ordered the flowers at 9:00 am with a guarantee that they would be delivered by 6:00 pm. The website said the bouquets I selected were available and would be delivered the same day if ordered by 2:00 pm. I even called to verify this over the phone. Nine hours for delivery, and I ordered five hours before the cutoff time for same-day delivery. But when I called the restaurant at 5:45 pm to check if the flowers had arrived, they hadn't. And I never received any form of contact from Terry's Florist. They said nothing about not delivering the flowers. When I called them, they told me they couldn't find a local flower shop to fulfill the order. And I was talking to someone at a call center, not even someone at the actual flower shop. Like, what the heck? The order that was supposedly available on the website and over the phone earlier in the day was not delivered. If I had just worked directly with a local business, this wouldn't have happened. Local businesses know their capabilities, but Terry's Florist clearly doesn't. And when the transaction is being organized from a call center by minimum wage workers, it's just a recipe for disaster.
So yeah, I'm not a fan of Terry's Florist. They're a parasitic company that draws fees from customers and small businesses. They complicate the process, which increases fees and increases the likelihood of problems with the customer's order. It's just not worth it, man.
Terry's Florist Review: Unprofessionalism, Poor Customer Service, and Missed Deliveries
When considering using Terry's Florist for your floral needs, it's important to take a step back and read the reviews of previous customers. Unfortunately, the positive descriptions on their website sound like a bunch of lies when compared to some of the negative reviews out there.
One customer, who had been using a trusted florist for 12 years but needed delivery in Rosenberg, ordered two arrangements with upgraded premium statuses, each costing an extra $20. Terry's Florist assured her that they would be delivered in time for a visitation at 10am that same day. However, her son returned from the funeral to inform her that neither of the arrangements were present.
The customer was thoroughly inconvenienced, having spent 45 minutes online placing the order followed by four phone calls to Terry's Florist. They kept putting her on hold and the manager never even got on the phone. Four hours after the scheduled delivery time, she received an email asking to deliver to their house instead. This was a definite no, as it was not what they had agreed upon.
After speaking with a representative, the customer learned that the driver simply wasn't able to make the delivery in time. She expressed her disappointment with the lack of communication from the company, the poor customer service, and the overall unprofessionalism she experienced.
If you come across Terry's Florist while searching for a florist for your needs, please consider these negative reviews and save yourself the trouble this customer endured. There are other florists out there who would be happy to take your business and provide quality service that Terry's Florist could not deliver.
Disappointing Experience with Terry's Florist - Poor Quality and Ignored Substitution Policy
I recently had an unfortunate experience with Terry's Florist when I placed an order for a birthday bouquet to be delivered. The order consisted of roses, sunflowers, lilies, and other colorful flowers that were confirmed available on the website. I am an experienced flower consumer and know to confirm orders to avoid inferior substitutions. Additionally, my credit card was immediately charged while I was on the phone, and I was informed that I would receive an email receipt. Unfortunately, I never received a receipt.
After calling the shop twice and being kept on hold for over 5 minutes, I was told that my order was on the truck for delivery. However, the recipient received an arrangement that was completely different from what I had ordered. The recipient received a cheap dollar-store vase with filler flowers consisting of 3 red carnations, yellow daisies, babies breath, and ferns. This was a far cry from the $50 bouquet that I had ordered, and I was extremely disappointed.
Upon trying to reach out to the store, I received the run-around - being told that they couldn't locate my order. Finally, I received an email asking me to refer to their substitution policy, which I had already reviewed and confirmed. This policy states that substitutions may be made in the event that certain flowers are not available. However, I had confirmed the availability of the flowers I had ordered before making the purchase. I do this all the time for clients and relatives that I regularly send flowers to across the country.
It's clear that Terry's Florist does not care about their customers. They pocketed $57.87 from me and delivered a $10 bouquet from the grocery store. I purchased an arrangement with roses, sunflowers, and lilies, but what was delivered was an arrangement with no roses, no sunflowers, and no lilies - the recipient received a dime-a-dozen assortment of filler flowers that were worth nowhere close to the price that I paid. I have attached photos of what I ordered versus what was delivered.
Overall, my experience with Terry's Florist was extremely disappointing, and I will not be shopping with them again. I highly recommend that others avoid this establishment as well. There are so many other florists out there that care about their customers and will deliver an arrangement that is worth the price paid.
Beware of Terry's Florist: False Advertising and Unreliable Services
Dear reader,
I recently had an unfortunate experience with Terry's Florist that left me feeling deeply disappointed in their services. I ordered a premium bouquet of flowers from their website for a special person in my life, but what arrived was nothing like what I had purchased. In fact, it was so different that I attached photos for proof. Additionally, the balloons that were supposed to accompany the flowers arrived an hour later, completely separate from the original delivery.
I am not one to complain easily, but I felt compelled to do so because this recipient means so much to me. I wanted to send her something as beautiful as she is, but she ended up receiving something subpar and inconsistent with what was advertised. The bouquet only had 18 flowers in it, when I was expecting a premium arrangement for my $69.99 purchase. It was not worth $100, hence I requested a refund.
Anna from Terry's Florist responded to my complaint, indicating that they have a substitution policy that makes changes necessary based on availability of stock. However, I found this information neither helpful nor clear on their website. Nowhere could I find reference to their substitution policy, simply a mention of policies at the bottom of the page; this was, in my opinion, false advertising.
All in all, I would urge others to steer clear of Terry's Florist. Save yourself the trouble and money. There are many more honest and reliable florists out there that can guarantee you receive the beautiful bouquet you paid for.
Sincerely,
Celina
Poor delivery and quality, subpar customer service - Terry's Florist Review
I stumbled upon Terry's Florist while searching for a local florist to deliver a beautiful bouquet for a special occasion, rather than a generic chain store. After browsing their website, I decided to order the Deluxe $79 Brilliance Bouquet on a Friday morning for same-day delivery. However, things took a turn for the worse when I called later that day to inquire about the status of the order and was told that the flowers were already en route. Hours later, the recipient had not received anything, so I tried calling again. Still no response.
The following Saturday, I decided to follow up and was informed by the representative that the flowers were delivered Friday and supposedly hand-delivered to the recipient. However, I was told by the recipient that they had been at home all day and received no flowers until Saturday morning. Moreover, when the bouquet finally arrived, it was wilted and unappealing.
To add insult to injury, Terry's Florist failed to keep me in the loop about the delivery status as promised, and when I requested a refund or a fresh bouquet for the recipient, I was asked to email them photos of the actual bouquet to check whether I qualified, even though it was their mistake. Sadly, it's been three weeks since the complaint, and I haven't heard a peep from them.
All in all, my experience with Terry's Florist was quite stressful and disappointing. I would not recommend them to anyone and would instead advise people to find a more reliable local florist instead.
Bait and Switch: My Terrible Experience with Terry's Florist
ever had to order flowers for delivery, then you know how important it is to have a reliable and trustworthy florist. Unfortunately, Terry's Florist does not fit that description. My experience with them was less than satisfactory and I would not recommend them to anyone.
First, I was drawn to Terry's Florist because of their claim of "same day delivery, no delivery fee." As someone who has sent flowers before, I know how expensive delivery fees can be, so I was excited to find a florist who did not charge that extra fee. However, I was quickly disappointed when I got to the checkout page and saw a "service fee" of $16.95 added on. Why was this not listed up front? It felt like a bait and switch tactic to get me to spend more money.
Despite this, I decided to proceed with the order because I needed the flowers delivered to my friend in Houston that same day. Unfortunately, the flowers did not arrive until 9:30 pm that night, despite my order being placed at 7am EST. And even worse, my friend had no idea who was ringing her doorbell at that time of night. The delivery person did not call ahead, so it was a surprise to her. If she had not answered the door, the flowers would have been left outside all night!
Finally, when my friend sent me a photo of the flowers I had ordered, I was embarrassed. The European Garden Bouquet I had ordered for $46.99 was supposed to contain a certain number of flowers, according to the product description. However, the actual bouquet had only HALF the number of flowers I was promised, and they were cheap and not at all like the photo on the website.
Overall, my experience with Terry's Florist was a disappointment. I paid more than I expected, the delivery was not handled properly, and the bouquet I ordered was a poor representation of what was promised. Next time, I will be choosing a national florist that I can at least earn air miles from. Don't waste your money with Terry's Florist, it's not worth it.
Disappointing Delivery Experience with Terry's Florist: A Review
When it comes to flower delivery, Terry's Florist might not be the best option. While they are a small and local business, their services fell short of my expectations. I ordered a beautiful arrangement for a friend's birthday with next day delivery, but by 3pm the following day, I still hadn't received confirmation that the flowers had been delivered. After calling the store and being assured that the bouquet was on its way, I waited until 5pm only to find out that the flowers had not been delivered. When I asked for a refund, I was told that same day cancellations were not allowed and that they needed to speak to the delivery driver to determine what had gone wrong. This seemed unfair to me as their delivery problems were not my responsibility as a customer. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was denied and it felt like the customer service representative was purposely trying to make me give up on pursuing a refund. Finally, I was given a supervisor's information, but they were not available and wouldn't be until after the new year. The whole experience left me disappointed and frustrated. If you're looking for reliable and trustworthy flower delivery, I suggest looking elsewhere. Terry's Florist might be local, but their customer service and delivery process leave much to be desired.
Review of Terry's Florist: Lackluster Customer Service and Lack of Responsibility
It is unfortunate to hear about the negative experience a customer had with Terry's Florist. The customer had ordered flowers for a teacher on the first day of distance learning as a thoughtful gesture. However, when the flowers were not delivered and the customer reached out to customer service, they received unsatisfactory responses. The customer had to call multiple times to follow up on the delivery and finally found out that the flowers were not delivered the first day as promised. The florist tried to excuse the situation by pointing out their substitution policy, which states that they may substitute flowers if they are delayed or limited due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
It is disheartening to know that the customer service provided by Terry's Florist was not up to par. The lack of empathy and understanding towards the customer's concerns is unacceptable. Although it is understandable that the pandemic may cause issues with flower availability and delivery, it is also the responsibility of the florist to provide quality service and products to their customers. It is concerning that the florist initially tried to scam the customer by claiming that the flowers were delivered, even though the teacher did not receive them.
The customer rightfully expressed their disappointment and requested a refund. However, Terry's Florist's response showed no apology or remorse for their mistake. Instead, they pointed out their substitution policy and attached their terms and conditions. This is not the kind of customer service one would expect when ordering from a flower delivery service.
It is essential to read reviews and research companies before making a purchase. This experience shows the importance of doing so. It is also important for companies to take responsibility for their actions and provide quality service to their customers.
Terry's Florist Review: Worst Service & No Accountability, A Huge Disappointment for My Wife's Birthday
A few weeks ago, my wife and I relocated from Wisconsin to Plainfield. Unfortunately, I had to stay behind for a few more weeks to handle some work-related obligations. Today was my wife's birthday and I wanted to surprise her with a beautiful bouquet of roses - 12 red and 1 white, arranged in a meaningful "I love you" way. I placed an order early in the morning on Terry's Florist website (terrysflorist.com) and provided very clear instructions.
I spent quite some time on the phone with their customer service, providing all the necessary details, such as the recipient's name and address, as well as my credit card information. However, as the day went by, I didn't receive any notifications or shipping updates from Terry's Florist. I became concerned and tried to inquire about my order's status by phone. To my dismay, they informed me they had no record of my order.
As anyone in my position would feel, I was upset that my efforts to make my wife's birthday special had gone awry. However, I maintained my composure and tried to work out a solution with Terry's Florist. Although it was still early in the afternoon with three business hours before they closed, they refused to offer any assistance due to the excuse of COVID-19 restrictions. I felt frustrated and perplexed, wondering if the pandemic had made it impossible to deliver flowers after 12 pm.
I asked if they could upgrade my order and deliver it tomorrow or offer a minor discount, but their manager flat out denied that I had even placed an order with them. I found this to be deeply troubling as I work in customer service myself and understand that things can go wrong on both sides. While it was possible that I didn't receive a confirmation number, there was no recognition of any responsibility on Terry's Florist's part. Instead, they chose to call me a liar and refused to provide any help or solutions whatsoever.
As a result, my wife's birthday was a lonely one, and I felt like a failure as a husband. I had to resort to explaining to her that the flower shop I had chosen failed and didn't fulfill my order. I urge anyone to check reviews before using Terry's Florist or any other service. My experience with them was nothing short of a huge disappointment. I couldn't help but feel that Terry's Florist is the worst flower shop I've ever seen, and they don't care about their customers' needs or make any effort to show accountability for their mistakes.
Terry's Florist Review: Unpleasant Experience, Fake Accounts, and Poor Customer Service
I am writing this review to share my disappointing experience with Terry's Florist website (terrysflorist.com) in the hope that others can avoid similar situations. My mother wanted to send me a beautiful bouquet of flowers for my birthday, and after browsing the website she selected what she thought was a deluxe arrangement of 21 flowers with several roses included. She placed the order using her ATM card and was charged $80.
Unfortunately, the bouquet I received was not what she had ordered - it only contained 9 flowers, one of which was a rose, and some small lilies and carnations with baby's breath. My mother was understandably upset, especially since she had paid for the deluxe arrangement shown on the website. When she contacted Terry's Florist to rectify the situation, she was met with unhelpful and rude customer service from a woman named Jessica who identified herself as the manager.
Jessica claimed that the flowers my mother received were substitutes and met their guidelines, but my mother provided pictures of the bouquet she had ordered and it was clear that this was not the case. Jessica provided conflicting information about the location of the florist and eventually hung up on my mother when she suggested contacting the complaintsboard.com.
When I called on behalf of my mother to try and resolve the situation, Jessica's rude demeanor continued and she dismissed my concerns as a waste of her time. She eventually offered a 25% discount, but this did not rectify the fact that my mother had paid a significant amount of money for an entirely different bouquet than what she had ordered.
Upon sharing this experience on Facebook, a florist friend explained that Terry's Florist is likely an "order gatherer" that sets up fake accounts and then outsources the actual deliveries to local florists at much lower costs. This would explain the differences in the bouquets received versus what was shown on the website, as well as the unhelpful and dismissive customer service.
In conclusion, I would highly advise against using Terry's Florist for any floral orders. The website does not offer a way to leave feedback, and the customer service experience was unpleasant and unhelpful. If you do choose to order from this website, I recommend using a credit card for payment so that you have the ability to dispute any discrepancies in the order.
Unfortunate Experience with Terry's Florist: Late Delivery, Misinformation, and Poor Customer Service
I recently had an unfortunate experience with Terry's Florist when ordering a bouquet for my sister who had just undergone surgery. I placed the order with specific delivery instructions for the following day, and requested a call to provide a delivery window. However, when my sister stayed home to receive the flowers, there was no delivery. I contacted the florist and was told the delivery would be made before 2 pm that day. However, there was still no delivery, and I had to continually follow up with the florist representatives who received erroneous delivery information from the florist delivery person.
The flowers were finally delivered at 5:23 pm, after my family sat around two whole days awaiting delivery. I found it frustrating that I needed to continually follow up with the florist representatives and receive erroneous information about the delivery. I even called again the next day asking to speak with the owner, but to no avail.
I was so disappointed with Terry's Florist's unprofessionalism that I am requesting my credit card company to dispute the payment. The whole experience was a waste of time, causing significant inconvenience to not only me but also my ill sister and visiting sister with her family. I cannot believe that the florist could not empathize with the challenges and poor experiences I was subjected to, and the loss of two full days of sharing quality time between my sisters. I hope this review will save others from the frustrating experience I had.

Terry's Florist Review: Poor Representation of Loved One's Memory and Terrible Customer Service
I recently ordered an arrangement for my sister's funeral from Terry's Florist. I wanted to honor my sister's memory by getting her favorite flowers, roses, and a beautiful porcelain angel with long hair, just like my sister's. The angel had gold along the sleeves and wings, and it was supposed to be a keepsake for her husband. My sister collected angels, and I wanted to make sure that she had one with her on her final journey.
However, when the flowers arrived, I was shocked and disappointed. Instead of the beautiful arrangement that I had ordered, I received an ugly brown box holding the flowers with an ugly fat cross and an angel that looked like the hobbit. The angel was not even visible, as it was pushed down into the flowers. It was heartbreaking to see such a poor representation of my sister's memory.
I tried calling Terry's Florist to see if they could rectify the situation, but their customer service was terrible. My husband was put on hold for almost half an hour, and when he finally spoke to someone, they had nothing but excuses. They asked if we had a picture of the flowers they sent, but who has the presence of mind to take pictures of flowers at a funeral?
To make matters worse, nowhere on their website did it say that there might be substitutions. I ordered this arrangement specifically for the roses and beautiful angel, and I was let down. Losing my sister was hard enough, and to see such a poor representation of her memory was even more upsetting.
I would not recommend Terry's Florist to anyone. They have poor customer service and no compassion for the loss of your loved one. If they can allow this to happen and not come clean about their mistake, they shouldn't be in the business of flowers. I hope that my review will prevent someone else from being burned by this place. If I could, I wouldn't even give them one star.
Terry's Florist Review: A Disaster from Start to Finish - Don't Waste Your Time or Money!
I should have listened to the other reviews before ordering from Terry's Florist. I mean, it's just flowers, how bad could it be? I saw on their website that they offered same-day delivery if you ordered before 2pm and the pictures of the flowers said "Available Today". So, I decided to order some flowers for my daughter's birthday at 10am to make her day a little extra special.
Well, let me tell you, it was a disaster from the start. I had to call them three times and was on hold for over 10 minutes each time. Finally, I got through to someone, but it was a foreign person. I don't have anything against foreigners, but I specifically asked if they were located in Greenville, SC three times and was told yes. Turns out, they are an outsourcing company like FTD or something, but much worse and unreliable!
I asked each time if my daughter would definitely get the flowers today, as there are several other true florists in the area. I was told yes each time. The reason I had to call three times is because they called me back at noon and said they needed a different address because they couldn't deliver to Furman University for some reason. So, I made arrangements with the great people at Furman Police to take the flowers to her once they received them.
At 5:20pm, still no flowers and no contact from the company about any issues. I called them again, but there was no answer. So, I emailed them. By this time, they had already charged our card even though they couldn't fulfill the order! An hour later, they responded saying they couldn't do the order because of "supply issues". By this time, every other florist was closed. They wouldn't have even told me that my daughter wasn't getting the flowers if I hadn't contacted them.
I responded to their email expressing my disappointment, but didn't receive a response until two days later asking if they could still make the delivery. Are you kidding me? The birthday had already passed! And now, they're telling me it will take 5-7 business days to get a refund? This place is a scam!
Do yourself a favor and shop directly from a local florist. Don't waste your time or money on Terry's Florist.
Disastrous Experience with Terry's Florist: Unprofessional Delivery and Uncomfortable Personal Questions
Ordered a bouquet for my mother-in-law's birthday from Terry's Florist and it was a complete disaster. I chose a simple bouquet that was under $90 and thought everything would be fine. However, the next day, I received a call from a woman who spoke broken English and asked for a lot of my personal information. I felt uncomfortable and thought it was a spam call. She confirmed the delivery information but also wanted my personal information, which was odd. I've ordered flowers for 20 years and never had this level of questioning. It was so intense that I almost cancelled the order.
The next day, which was my mother-in-law's birthday, the flowers were supposed to be delivered. However, I received a call from a man who spoke very broken English with a completely different accent. He sounded Middle Eastern whereas the prior lady sounded Asian. He kept asking for specific details about the home, so I had to put my husband on the phone because it's his childhood home and I don't remember all the details. My husband spent 15 minutes helping guide the man to his mother's home. When the man arrived with the flowers, he explained to my husband that he was disabled and couldn't get out of the car. Therefore, my husband needed to call his mom and tell her to come outside and get the flowers because he couldn't stand.
My mother-in-law is very old and has Parkinson's, so it was difficult for her to go outside in the dark and get the bouquet from the man's car. She had to change out of her nightgown and go outside in the pitch-black Michigan night. When she got back inside, she called my husband to say she was scared to death and in pain. This was a terrible experience and I will never order from Terry's Florist again.

Sincerely,
Celina
Avoid Terry's Florist: A Scam that Preys on Grieving Customers
Losing a loved one is one of the most difficult moments in life, and sending flowers to show your support and love can be a meaningful gesture. That's why I turned to Terry's Florist after my friend's son passed away. The website seemed to offer a great selection of flower arrangements, and I appreciated that they delivered on Saturdays. I ended up choosing a beautiful piece that cost nearly $100.
Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse after the funeral. My friend's aunt contacted me to let me know that the flowers never arrived. I was devastated and tried to contact Terry's Florist immediately. However, their phone number just rang and rang, and I was unable to speak to anyone. I started to panic and decided to contact my bank to dispute the charge, but things didn't get any better from there.
My banker and I started googling "Terry's Florist," and we discovered that they have great SEO but are considered a scam by many people. I wrote an email to Terry's Florist to inform them that I was contacting the Complaintsboard.com and that the flowers I ordered never arrived. Their response was vague and flowery, stating that the flowers were delivered at 11:15 AM. However, my friend's family said that they never received the flowers.
I continued to dispute the charge with my bank and thought the nightmare was over when the charge fell off my transactions. However, almost two weeks later, it showed back up on my statement. It was frustrating to see that Terry's Florist was still trying to charge me for a product that they never delivered.
To make matters worse, Terry's Florist called me and said they missed a call from me a week prior that showed up on their caller ID. They even suggested that I could place another order if I wanted to. I was so upset and embarrassed that not only did I get scammed by this company, but my friend and her family never received the flowers of sympathy that I paid for.
Losing a loved one is hard enough without having to go through the trauma of being scammed by a business. I urge everyone to avoid Terry's Florist and use a reputable florist that you can trust. Don't make the same mistake I did.
Terrible experience with terry's florist - failed delivery, poor, communication and professionalism
I had a truly disappointing experience with Terry's Florist! I had ordered sympathy flowers for same-day delivery on a Tuesday for a dear friend who had suffered a loss. However, by the end of the day, I hadn't heard anything from my friend regarding the delivery, which struck me as odd. The following day, I decided to give Terry's a call to inquire about the status of the order. Unfortunately, I was placed on hold for an excruciatingly long 25 minutes on my cell phone, so I had to resort to using my home line. When I finally got through to someone, I was informed of two issues: first, delivery had not been made, and second, there had been an issue with getting the flowers for the order. It would have been so much better if these issues had been brought to my attention before it was too late. The woman I spoke with offered me a measly $10 credit and promised that the flowers would be delivered the next day, Thursday, and that I would receive a confirmation email. Later that evening, I received a voice message from a gentleman who assured me that the flowers would be delivered and that I would receive a full refund because of the issues I experienced. I thought this was great news.
However, Thursday afternoon came around, and I still hadn't received the confirmation email indicating that the delivery had been made, and my friend still hadn't messaged me about receiving the flowers. I decided to call Terry's again and was told that the order had been cancelled altogether, with no further explanation. It was now two days after the delivery was supposed to happen - this was just a TERRIBLE and shameful experience. I can confidently say that I will never use Terry's Florist again as they quickly charged my credit card but failed to deliver the flowers that I ordered. If I hadn't contacted them multiple times, I would have paid for goods never received and would have wrongly assumed that my friend had received flowers that she never did.
Overall, my experience with Terry's Florist was nothing short of a nightmare. Their lack of transparency, communication, and professionalism is simply unacceptable. It is unreasonable that a company would charge for a service that they cannot deliver, and the fact that Terry's was willing to do so without even notifying me is truly disappointing. I would not recommend this company to anyone, and I urge anyone who is considering their services to think twice before making a purchase. This whole ordeal was just Terrible!
Disappointed with Terry's Florist LLC: Subpar Arrangement and Poor Customer Service
I recently had an experience with Terry's Florist LLC that left me very disappointed. As someone who is always conscious of their expenses, I wanted to show a special someone in my life how much I appreciate them by purchasing a beautiful flower arrangement. However, when the arrangement was delivered, it looked nothing like what I had ordered. In fact, it looked like it had been hastily thrown together with wilting flowers. I was so embarrassed to have even sent this subpar arrangement.
When I called customer service to voice my concerns, I was told that because of fine print on their website, they have the right to substitute flowers in order to ensure timely delivery. However, there was no mention of this when I spoke to a representative on the day of the delivery. I was not given the option to wait or cancel my order if there was a problem.
Worse yet, even after multiple attempts to communicate my dissatisfaction via email, the company did not offer to make it right by delivering the correct arrangement. It seemed as though they did not care about my disappointment as a customer.
It's truly disheartening when a company does not value their customers' satisfaction. Although they offered to take a few dollars off of my bill, it in no way erased the disappointment and frustration I experienced. I would strongly caution against using Terry's Florist LLC for any floral needs. After all, part of the joy of sending flowers comes from the delight and surprise of the recipient upon receiving a beautiful arrangement - not the necessity of apologizing and explaining why what they received lacked the intended beauty and sentiment.
Disappointing Experience with Terry's Florist: Late delivery, misspelled names, wrong order, and terrible customer service
I recently ordered a bouquet of flowers from Terry's Florist for my mother and stepfather. Unfortunately, the experience did not go as smoothly as I had hoped. The website had promised that if I ordered before 2pm, the flowers would be delivered the same day. However, this was not the case. I placed my order around 11am, but an hour later I received a call from the florist informing me that they did not have the flowers I had ordered and that delivery would not be possible until the following day.
To add to my frustration, the woman who took my order misspelled my name on the gift card and also had my parents' last name spelled incorrectly for delivery. When I called the florist to inquire about the delay, the representative I spoke with was rude and unhelpful. She promised to call me back within 5 to 10 minutes, but I never received a call. When I tried to call back, my calls were ignored until I used a different phone number.
Eventually, my mother received her flowers, but they were not the bouquet I had ordered. When I contacted the florist to express my dissatisfaction, no one I spoke with seemed to care about the issues I had experienced. This was a terrible experience, and I cannot recommend Terry's Florist to anyone. Not only did they fail to deliver on their promises, but they also provided poor customer service and showed no concern for the problems I encountered. I spent $73 on this order, and I believe that I should have at least received a partial refund for the inconvenience. Needless to say, I will not be ordering from Terry's Florist again.
Terrible Experience with Terry's Florist: Unreliable, Unprofessional, and Unsympathetic
I had a very frustrating experience with Terry's Florist (terrysflorist.com) and I want to share it with you to prevent anyone else from going through a similar situation. Let me start by saying that I had placed an order for flowers to be delivered on Mother's Day, four weeks before the date, as I wanted to avoid any rush or delay. After completing the online order, I decided to call the florist to confirm that everything was in order and to make sure they could guarantee delivery on time. The representative assured me that it would not be an issue and that they would contact me if there were any problems or delays.
To my surprise, Saturday came and went with no flowers delivered to my aunt in Arizona. I did not receive any communication from Terry's Florist either - no phone call, text or voicemail. Naturally, I was alarmed and decided to contact them the next day, which was Mother's Day. After being on hold for a while, I spoke to a representative, who told me that she would check with the driver and call me back with an update soon. However, after four hours of waiting, I had to call again to follow up.
This time, I was informed by a lady that Terry's Florist had already canceled my order and that they would issue a refund. I was devastated, as these flowers were an important tradition that I wanted to keep alive, especially since my aunt's son had recently passed away. I tried to reason with the representative, explaining that I live in California, and the flowers were the only way to let my aunt know that I was thinking of her on this special day. However, the response I received was cold and dismissive. The representative showed no compassion, and their message was clear - there was nothing they could do.
What was especially frustrating was being told that Terry's Florist's supplier was out of flowers, on Mother's Day of all days. If they were a genuine flower shop, surely they could have sourced flowers from other providers, or even other locations? The fact that they had no back-up plan or contingency in place astounded me. My order had been placed four weeks ago, and I had been charged for it. Yet, only after I had called to follow up a day later, did Terry's Florist decide they could not fulfill my order.
I want to warn others to steer clear of Terry's Florist, as my experience was extremely disappointing, and I would not wish it on anyone else. The lack of care and consideration shown towards my order was unacceptable, and it is clear that they lack basic business ethics. In conclusion, stay away from Terry's Florist, and choose other reputable and trusted florists instead.
Disappointing Experience with Terry's Florist: Poor Communication & Hidden Fees
I had recently tried out Terry's Florist and unfortunately, had a negative experience. As someone who values supporting local businesses, I specifically chose to work with them in order to ensure that my sister's flowers would be delivered on time for her arrival back from the hospital. After being cut off three times on the phone, I was finally able to get through and was informed that the flowers would be delivered by 8 pm that same day. However, instead of the free delivery that their website advertised, I was hit with an unexpectedly high service fee. When I asked for an explanation of what the service fee covered, I was informed that it covered the "maintenance and upkeep of the flowers" which really just appeared as an overhead and unnecessary cost on my end. I was honestly disappointed with their business practice and couldn't help but feel deceived.
The situation only got worse after that initial call. At 3:30, someone had called to inform me that the flowers had already been delivered when they hadn't. After calling eight times, I was left on hold for 15 minutes at one point, only to never hear back from any representative. As you can imagine, this kind of game-playing only added insult to injury. I eventually asked to cancel my order and a refund - only to be met with an abrupt hanging up of the phone. Finally, at 4:30, the delivery man had come with a wilted flower arrangement which we understandably refused.
Overall, my experience with Terry's Florist was a major waste of time and money. I couldn't help but feel wronged and disappointed with the service I received.
Disappointing Experience with Terry's Florist: Questionable Business Practices and Poor Communication
Unfortunately, I did not take the time to read reviews of Terry's Florist prior to placing my online order for a loved one's birthday. I was hoping to surprise them with a beautiful arrangement, delivered on their actual birthday, as advertised on the website. The confirmation email reassured me that the flowers would be delivered on the requested date.
However, the next day came and went with no word from the recipient or from Terry's Florist. When I called the company, it was already past closing time. It wasn't until the next morning, after being put on hold for an uncomfortable length of time, that I was informed that their warehouse did not have the flowers needed for my order. This was shocking, given that Terry's Florist claims to have warehouses in every city in America and their own shop where their employees can pull flowers from on the same day.
The customer service representative was unable to offer any explanation, other than to admit that Terry's Florist is merely a middleman and that they had to call a local florist to fulfill my order. This was extremely frustrating, especially since they had not communicated this important detail to me, nor had they reached out to offer any other solutions.
The lack of communication and transparency from Terry's Florist was disappointing and made it look like I had forgotten about my loved one's birthday. The representative's inability to transfer me to a manager was also concerning, as was the fact that I never received a follow-up call from them - despite being promised one.
Overall, my experience with Terry's Florist was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Their business practices are questionable at best and I would advise anyone considering using their services to think twice. There are countless other online florists that are better equipped to provide quality service, clear communication, and reliable delivery.
Disappointing & Disrespectful: My Experience with Terry's Florist for a Funeral Arrangement - A Cautionary Tale
I wish I had stumbled upon some reviews of Terry's Florist prior to making an order; it could've saved me the embarrassment at the funeral home. I ordered the Serene Retreat for my fiance's father's service and was expecting an elegant-looking arrangement perfect for such a somber occasion. However, upon seeing the actual display, I was horrified. Not only was it not the arrangement I spent $80 on, but it was not even close to looking like one. The container was different, the plants were not the same, and worst of all, it looked tacky. The leaves were yellowing and there was even a plastic green grasshopper attached to the ribbon - it was not appropriate for a funeral. I would never have paid $15 for something that looked like that, let alone $80. It ended up being an embarrassment that had my name on it.
When I ordered online, I was informed there would be no delivery charge, but I did end up receiving a "service fee" of $15.99, though I'm not even sure what service I was being charged for. I assumed it was just their way of collecting the delivery fee, even if it wasn't exactly honest. Either way, I was not expecting to receive something completely different from what I ordered. I would love for them to refund me in full and apologize to the widow as well for such an egregious misstep.
To add insult to injury, after I emailed the company with my complaint, they offered me a credit of $14.99 and a copy of their terms and conditions, including their substitution policy. According to it, they are allowed to substitute other flowers of equal or greater value. The replacement arrangement they sent was not even close to the value of what I ordered. It was not only disappointing but also disrespectful. I urge anyone considering doing business with Terry's Florist to think twice.
Terry's Florist Review: Disappointing Experience with Delivery and Item Substitution
I recently decided to surprise my wife with a beautiful floral bouquet for her birthday and after reading some positive reviews, I landed upon Terry's Florist. I was excited to see that they had a specific bouquet with a clear cubed vase, which I thought would be a great touch as the vase could be reused long after the flowers had died. However, my experience with Terry's Florist left quite a bit to be desired.
Firstly, the bouquet was delivered a day early, which was a bit disappointing as I had specifically chosen the delivery date on my wife's birthday, and it didn't help that it was delivered in a cheap plastic purple vase. Her coworkers even made jokes about it, saying that her husband didn't even know her birthday which was quite embarrassing. While a small detail, it was frustrating to think that this bouquet was marked as available for delivery on her actual birthday and yet it was delivered the day before, especially since there was space for delivery on her birthday according to their calendar.
On top of that, they had my phone number and email but didn't reach out to me to confirm whether or not I still wanted the bouquet without the clear cube vase, which was the main selling point for me. After contacting them, they didn't do much to rectify the situation beyond refunding me $17 for the price of the vase that was missing. They didn't even send me the correct vase when it was back in stock, which was disappointing.
Overall, I was incredibly dissatisfied with the service provided by Terry's Florist. While I understand that things can go wrong and items may need to be substituted, I felt that they could have done more to communicate with me and ensure that I was satisfied with my purchase. Given my experience, I would not recommend them to my friends or family, especially if it's important to receive the correct item on a specific date. If you're looking for a reliable florist, it's best to look elsewhere.
Review: Terry's Florist - A Disappointing Experience and Poor Customer Service
I had a less-than-satisfactory experience with Terry's Florist, which I had hoped would provide a unique and meaningful flower arrangement for my sister's birthday. I made two separate phone calls with the florist's representatives to confirm that they had green carnations available, as these are my sister's favorite flower. After providing clear instructions for a personalized arrangement that included green carnations, red and yellow roses in memory of my mother and late sister respectively, as well as mini daisies, I was told that I would receive an email containing the order details, which I would need to approve before delivery.
Unfortunately, the email never arrived, and I waited all day to receive it. After calling Terry's Florist to inquire about the status of my order, I was informed that the flowers had already been delivered, and that I was never promised an email in the first place. When my sister sent me the picture of the delivered arrangement, I was extremely disappointed with what I saw.
Not only did the arrangement not contain any green carnations, but it looked as though it had been pre-made and purchased at a grocery store. This was not the personalized and unique arrangement that I had requested. To make matters worse, when I attempted to raise my concerns with Terry's Florist representative, they laughed at me instead of addressing the issue.
To add insult to injury, the gift card that accompanied the arrangement contained completely different wording than what I had specifically requested. After realizing that my experience with Terry's Florist was not reflecting of the small business support I was hoping to offer, I learned that they are not really a small business at all. Instead, they are a call center that outsources orders to third-party florists, which was incredibly frustrating to discover.
To top it all off, I was surprised to find that an additional charge had been added to my final order to refrigerate the flowers - despite being assured that they would be freshly made on the day of delivery. When I attempted to address my concerns with Terry's Florist, I was met with laughter and no solution or apology was presented. To date, I have yet to receive an email with my order details or receipt. This is incredibly concerning considering the sensitive nature of any personal or financial information that I may have shared.
My experience with Terry's Florist was a huge disappointment, and I would not recommend their services to anyone. The lack of attention to detail, misunderstanding of specific requests, and customer service made for a truly negative experience. Furthermore, the fact that they outsource orders to third-party florists makes it impossible to ensure quality or timely delivery in many cases. The inability to communicate effectively or take accountability reflects poorly on Terry's Florist as a company as a whole, and I will not be using their services again. I urge anyone considering using Terry's Florist to look elsewhere for their needs, so as to avoid similar frustrations and disappointments.
