We used to get the Charlotte *** newspaper, but it got worse and worse, so we stopped
We used to get the Charlotte *** newspaper, but it got worse and worse, so we stopped. We didn't get any papers for a long time, maybe a year, and we were happy about it. But now, they took $34 from our bank account for a subscription we didn't want. We called them a bunch of times, but they didn't help us or give us our money back. McClatchy thinks they can just take money from people's accounts. That's stealing, or at least really bad business.

I gotta say, I've had some issues with The McClatchy Company
I gotta say, I've had some issues with The McClatchy Company. Sometimes I don't get my newspaper, even though I leave notes for the carrier. They never call me back, even though I leave my number. And sometimes the paper doesn't even show up until after noon! But they did mention that I could get the news online, so that's something.

I been getting *** for a few years now and paying with my credit card on autopay. But now I'm moving out of state, so I hit up their customer service on the chat line on 11/25/2022 to cancel my subscription. They said the autopay already went through on 11/23/22, so they can only cancel it from 11/23/23. I asked for my money back since they didn't remind me about the renewal. They just told me their policy and didn't want to talk about it anymore. I don't want to get a local paper for a place I don't live in anymore. I just want some of my money back.

I'm not happy with McClatchy Company
I'm not happy with McClatchy Company. I called them three times at to talk about a problem with their Carolina Food magazine, but they didn't call me back. This is the second time in two years that I've complained because they won't stop delivering the magazine to my driveway, even though I don't want it. I never asked for it and I don't like having to throw it away. Also, when it's in my driveway, people might think I'm not home, which could be dangerous. I don't understand why they can't just stop delivering it when I ask them to. If they don't listen to me, I'll have to talk to someone higher up to make them stop.
