Don't buy your fence from this company!
Don't buy your fence from this company! I wouldn't even give it half a star. They don't answer your calls, you have to go to their place to get someone to help you. The warranty doesn't exist, you have to pay a lot for repairs that are clearly the installers' fault. The fence posts aren't set in concrete, no rebar, not enough screws to hold the sleeves to the pipe. They just cut the bottom of the sleeves and put them on top of the ground instead of sinking them in. It's a mess. No other fence company would come to fix it. Two private contractors told me to sue. One said it was too big of a job, didn't want it. The other did it for $8000, I paid $10,000. I have lots of pictures. I probably won't win if I sue because they have excuses for everything. I should have listened to others' advice.

Scheduled appointment for 12pm on 4/26 and company was a no call, no show. Red flag was when representative asked if there where any other decision makers who needed to be present. Why would a contractor ask such a question in 2021 and would a non-decision maker request an estimate. Would not recommend to other female homeowners.
I am a 3 times vinyl outlet customer. First my fence, then my deck and lastly my railings! All 3 jobs are beautiful. If I can find another exterior vinyl project to do, I would have them do it! 10 out of 10 every time!
Recently The Vinyl Outlet installed a fence across the back of my yard. We chose a premium color because it's next to our pool. We are so happy we did. They came the day they said they would, on time! The installation was fast and with no mess. This fence is the focal point of our yard and we could not be happier. They even used a picture of it in one of their ads. I would highly recommend them!

I had someone come out to my home to give me an estimate for a LARGE deck. I knew it was going to be pricey, the guy comes out and I start explaining to him what I would like, and I was saying “we” meaning my husband and I. Before I could even finish telling him what I wanted, he yelled a quote at me and told me we won’t talk about anything without your husband. He kept saying how big the deck was, we went to show me all the samples in the back of his car, throwing them around talking down any product that wasn’t their newest material. All he kept saying was how I was unable to make decisions without my husband and how he doesn’t want to have to come back. Finally after explaining to him that I am able to make decisions in my household I asked him to leave because I couldn’t stand his belittling attitude, and lack of interest in anything I had to say anymore. Apparently women of the household can’t make decision, or have intelligent conversation about products and materials in his eyes. Terrible terrible sales person.

I called vinyl outlets and left them a message about about the problem. They called me right back and a technician came out the next day to repair everything. Wonderful customer service!

Worst customer service ever! I submitted my information through their contact page and never got a call or email back. I showed up at their location to see if I could get an estimate. The guy was so rude! He said he couldn't help me, that this location was only the warehouse and that I had to call customer service for an estimate instead. How are they even in business?

Vicki the office mgr. from Vinyl Outlet Cheektowaga, basically did a "bait & switch" on me the day the work was to begin. I had received an on-site quote to replace my posts and railings. It was discussed with the Designer (Dayton), that the posts would be reinforced underneath & mounted on the decking top. When the workers arrived they said "Vicky" told them to put sleeves over the existing posts! This was NEVER discussed! I had to sign a warranty waiver to get the job done the way it was originally quoted & discussed. I am VERY UNHAPPY WITH VINYL OUTLET quoting one way & then saying something else upon arrival to do the work! BE CAREFUL!

I paid a LOT of money for a vinyl fence for my backyard, which supposedly had a warranty. I just recently told them that I have a small hole in my fence, which actually looks like it was made by a rock (?) bullet (?) I don't know but whatever the case, it is a hole about the size of a nickel. So, the person responds that it is going to be $219 + tax to fix that hole. I could have gotten 2 fences for the price of the one that I have and now needing to pay money for a repair in one small part of one panel that I could probably go to a local store to get an entire side of paneling for. I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Better off to use someone with a local fence company. I was desperate to get it done quickly where other companies were lacking manpower and supplies due to the pandemic. I see now that I am paying for my desperation.

At first I was very impressed with the work that was done. I had a porch installed. It cost $7,000 so clearly not cheap. I had solar lights installed and shortly after the solar lights weren’t working. The customer service representative told me to replace the batteries. We hung up and when I tried to follow his instructions to remove the part to replace the batteries I was not able to remove the part. It looked it had been jammed and I didn’t feel comfortable forcing it off. I called back and he told me to just break it off. I said I didn’t want to do that and he finally offered for someone to come take a look. They showed up and replaced the batteries (I was not home for this so I’m not sure what he did). A few weeks later and the light is not working yet again. I called again and left a message with the vinyl outlet and they called back and said at this point they can’t do anything and to call the manufacturer. So I did. The manufacturer asked me for information that was never provided to me and asked me what he did when he replaced the batteries, which not sure why I would know that information. We ended the call without any result and I called the vinyl outlet again. I was put through to the same man that has been trying to resolve this issue with me, although now I feel like I’m just being passed along to someone else. When I told him who I was he got very sarcastic with me, then stated I was the one that broke the solar light by putting the wrong battery in it (the light that isn’t working is the light that I wasn’t even able to remove to put a new battery in it so that’s untrue). He then argued back and forth with me about why the light broke and said to call the manufacturer back or I could bring the lights to the vinyl outlet. I explained that this is very inconvenient and also poor customer service given the amount of money spent on this project. He again got very sarcastic with me and then the phone got muffled and I said that I could hear him. So then he came back and was more clear but kept saying the same things over and over about how I broke it and then said “well I can have someone come take a look as a courtesy,” which honestly set me off a little because I wouldn’t consider them coming to fix something they installed a courtesy, I would consider that the right thing to do. I said I would prefer that especially after the hassle this has become. Then he stated that he already had given me that option earlier, which he didn’t and then had to say AGAIN that I broke it. I felt as though he just wanted to go back and forth arguing with me. When I asked to speak to someone else above him, he conveniently said there wasn’t anyone else there currently so I said is there someone I can call then and all of a sudden it changed to she will call you back when she is here. About 2 minutes later my phone rang from the supervisor. Interesting how just a few minute ago no one was there… The supervisor connected our call to the manufacturer and came back with a result of I would have to pay for the lights to be shipped to the manufacturer for a repair. Not really the result I thought would come of this given how large the vinyl outlet is and again how much I paid for this. She also said she’ll have a talk with him but it’s really unlike him to be that way. Ok, I’m sure you’ll talk to him. This entire process has been such a headache and I will never use or refer anyone to the vinyl outlet after such poor customer service again and again. I just wish they could have offered a better option that would leave me feeling like a happy customer. Unfortunately, not the case.

I didn't want them to install a fence while I was at work, but they went ahead and did it anyway. They didn't do a good job, and I've been trying to contact them since the first day to come and check it because I think it's in the wrong place. It's been about a month now, and they still haven't responded. No one will call me back.

I got this contract with The Vinyl Outlet Inc. but it ain't complete. It don't even tell me what I'm payin' for. And to make matters worse, they changed the contract without givin' me a copy. They made me sign it when I was sick, fresh outta the hospital after a transplant. I told 'em I need to know the prices for what I'm payin' for, but they said they charge by the work, not by the linear foot. So I need a breakdown of the work they gonna do. Plus, they advertise a 25% discount on installation, but I did the math and it looks like they only gave me 8 bucks off on a 4000 dollar job.

The Vinyl Outlet Inc. put up a gate on my house on April 15. When I got home to check out the work, I saw that they left a bunch of dirt inside the fence where they dug the hole. They also put in a door for walking, but it's too small for my car to fit through. The guy who measured for the fence even parked his car on the side of the house when he measured it the first time. I asked about having double doors or a single door for the front of the gate so I could park my car, and he said a single door would be cheaper. The contract doesn't say what kind of door should be installed. I called them a bunch of times to leave a message, asking them to call me back, but they never did. My mom called them, and they told her it would cost a crazy amount of money, at least thousands, to replace those doors. I think they charged way too much for their vinyl fence services.

On May 12, I paid The Vinyl Outlet an initial deposit of $1334.00 for an installation job that required 2 steps and 2 railings, with a total cost of $4000. The Vinyl Outlet was responsible for obtaining the permit from the town of Amherst to start and complete the job. They were also supposed to know the proper code for the height of the railings. On June 19, the installers arrived to begin the job. At that point, I had to give them another check for $1333.00 in order for them to start. After the job was completed, I was supposed to give them a final check of $1333.00. However, that did not happen. Shortly after the job was finished, I discovered that the railings were not up to code. The code requires the railings to be 36 inches high, but the railings they installed are only 31 inches tall. Additionally, I found out that no permit was obtained from the town of Amherst. There was no inquiry made for a permit to start or complete the job. When I confronted the representative from The Vinyl Outlet, they claimed that the railings were 36 inches tall. I informed them that they were actually 31 inches, but they had no response. At this point, I need the railings removed and new ones installed correctly. Considering the amount of money I paid, I should be able to have this installation done without any worries.
