Closed account without notice after earning a ton of points for a gift card
I've spent Hours doing surveys for this company. They have my profile info... would send me surveys to do what supposively "matched" my profile... most of them would make me go through ANOTHER profile with alot of the same questions to tell me I didn't qualify. (Waste of time). Their system should already know.
I finally redeem 75,000 points (that's alot of surveys) to get a $25.00 gift card they "say" can take up to 3 weeks to get electronically in my profile. Not in an email. Weird huh!? Never had that with any retail company. That was a red flag for me. Them buying me a gift card shouldn't take that long..
3 days later I try to go on to check to see if I received it because my gut was telling me they were being fraudulent.
It was not taking my password. I try 3x to reset it but it won't send me anything in an email. I reached out to the company and 24 hours later they tell me they canceled my account because of fraudulent activity? WHAT? First of all why did you not tell me? I emailed them back asking what I did and how I have the right to know because they ask for quite a bit of personal info and the timing of canceling me for that reason as soon as I want a gift card that I EARNED is a little fraudulent themselves?
I did nothing wrong... and if I did for that reason.. wouldn't it have been the moment I did?
Do not sign up. I'm sure they are getting paid from companies for OUR services and we get nothing. Your time is better off somewhere else with the hassle this has caused me.
I'll stick with opinion surveys via airlines. I know those work!
But I had to find a place to warn people from this company.
THE bbb has several complaints with their gift cards NOT working and I noticed others are complaining about the same thing I am.
I am curious how many people out there are having the same issues as I have?
How many people have actually received a gift card like they advertised without having any issues?

Toluna - deduction of points
I was absolutely astounded this morning to discover that my points, which were around the 141,000 mark had dropped to 116,450. I checked my reward points as I assumed that someone had managed to access my account and claim part of the rewards. Upon checking, I discovered that points had been deducted on 28.02.22, 28.03.22 and 28.04.22 as they had expired. I had absolutely no idea whatsover that there was an expiry date and I had been trying to work my way up to a £35 Pay Pal reward. If there is an expiry date, then I think it only right that a reminder should be sent out to people, indicating that their rewards are about to expire. As if things aren't bad enough, some while ago I notified you that somehow I had two accounts as one was [protected]@googlemail.com and one [protected]@gmail.com and to delete one. My correct email address is [protected]@googlemail.com. However, I lost both lots of points and access the surveys these days through a very old email as you no longer email me the surveys.
This wasn't meant to be a complaint, but I tried to notify you on your normal 'ticket' form and it comes up with 'an error has occurred'.

For the past one year or more, I am not able to take a single survey with toluna. I have mailed them so many times as even my survey center always shows the message "sorry no surveys available at the moment".
I have mailed them number of times, but they simply reply everytime to clear cache and cookies which I have done many times, but all efforts are in vain.
There is no proper action taken by toluna as there seems to be problem at their end, may be a bug in software or something.
Atleast till now if it can rectify it is very useful for us all we are missing many surveys and brand invitations from big companies.

For the last one year, I have not been able to take a single survey. I have mailed them so many times requesting to rectify the problem, but no action has been taken till now.
I am really fed up with it. Also there are many people who are desperate with the company for not getting any surveys to be done.

Below is the message you left for me on the BBB. I never got a message that you sent me one. However, I always had 40 pieces of content I counted them. You would have not given me any so called points if I would have not hounded.
I think you guys are getting to big, and not able to see who is who anymore. I was with you for years. I will not return to toluna, unless my account is established in full, from previous with the full content bonus and editors reward.
However I dont see that happening and I am ok with not being a toluna member.

survey company refusal to pay me
This company is horrible, scam. They will just close your account when you have accumulated points to cash in and blame it on fraudulent or suspicious activity on my part who is total [censor]. If you ask me it is them who are fraudulent. They paid me once and then closed my account down for no reason. Don't sign up. If you have ever had issues with this company file a complaint. Its companies like this that give trying to make a little extra money a bad name. SERIOUSLY.

I, as well as many others, have been trying to contact Tools regarding error messages we have received at the end of surveys we have completed. Unfortunately, the only contact link on your site is for registration or log in issues. How are we supposed to send you the error descriptions we were told to send you to get credited for these surveys that had an error at the completion point. Please help!

My reason for notifying you is that I am a member of Toluna US quicksurveys and when I tried redeeming my points for a PayPal reward I was not able to proceed with the process as it continously stated to "Enter a valid address" or "Select a State", when I correctly entered the required information numerous times it simply failed to allow me to continue on with the transaction. Also, the contact portion of the website is not functional. Please advise and assist as soon as possible.

Rewards that are earned
I requested my amazon gift code and I still have not received it from redeeming in February of 2017. I still not have received! I contacted them on several occasions and no response or if you get one it's the same email that keeps being generated asking you to describe the action in detail! How many emails do I have to send with detail. I want my rewards that I earned!

Blocked account
I've been a us.toluna.com user for some time now, I even cashed out one $30 paypal gift card, but with some inexplicable reason they blocked my account when I almost reached 90, 000 and tried to spend 75, 000 on an amazon.com gift card. I am not sure why they blocked my account - every time I asked them to provide a proof of me breaking the TOS they state a different reason that doesn't make sense to me. In the end they basically said that that they closed my account and forfeit my points because they can "at their sole discretion". The still haven't provided any proof or further information on how I broke the TOS and what is the actual and concrete reason that got my account closed. Naturally, I am very angry with them as I spent significant amount of time getting to almost 90, 000 points for the second time just to get that thrown away in thin air. I would suggest that, based on my experience, you stay away from this survey site if you're looking to invest your time to earn some extra cash.

Second, setting aside that I've maybe opened an account on us.toluna.com outside of US, which by the way is a terrible reason to close someone's account, have you or have you not had revenue as a result of me spending a SIGNIFICANT amount of time, time I've invested and cannot get back, completing surveys?
This is absolutely true. I am on ca.toluna.com from Canada and it is a bad experience. I am going to report them on trustpilot.comso suggest we all do this until we are satisfied.
i have the same problem. THere is always a isssue with this site i have spoken to several friends with the complaint. Trying to contact them is a joke.
They provide a lot of surveys and don't send the voucher
I found the ad on the website www.toluna.com. It was mentioned that if I made several surveys, they would provide the voucher for traveling. I filled tons of these fake surveys, but these scammers haven’t provided the voucher. As well as they promised and blah-blah. The website is real scam, so better don’t deal with them. As well as share your views about them.
Avoid this fraudulent site at all costs
I keep getting offered, say, 4, 000 points to complete a survey only to find that after entering vast amounts of personal consumer history I am being told I did not qualify for it or that my particular user group quota has already been filled. Interesting that I should be told of this sometimes three quarters of the way through for example, a 40 minute survey! Seems to me some very sneaky folk are receiving free market research which they're then selling on to relevant retailers at great cost, no doubt! I'd like to know of anyone who finds this site fair and legitimate!

i had the same happen to me. i was using toluna nearly every day. then just as i'd asked for an amazon voucher i suddenly couldn't access my account. when i emailed them it said they'd suspended my account. no reason other than 'strange activity'. so i've lost all my points and the amazon voucher that was already being processed. i'm so angry and upset. the worst part for me is being called a liar. i completed all my surveys honestly and took time over my answers. just disgusting, plus now that i've read more and more about how other people have been having bad problems with toluna it's just shocking.
just don't know how they can keep going, considering the way they use people to give their opinion on new products and services. which means they give companies all our responses, get paid but then they keep the money they're given and get rid of us so they can pretend it's our fault
I wish I looked at this before wasting my time! How can this company be reported? There has to be a way?
