Top Tier Solar Solutions review: Unethical business practices

There have been numerous unethical activities and practices performed by Top Tier Solar Solutions. The job I applied for with them was extremely over exaggerated compared to the position I was given. I have rejected at least 3 salaried positions to obtain this job due to the misrepresentation and false pretenses that were given to me. They promised $35 an hour as base pay, once I accepted the job I was later told that they only pay for “Sits” and “closes”. I was told that it was not going to be a door-to-door sales job but one based off of cold calling customers. Upon arriving for my first day of training I was told that it was in fact a door-to-door job. I also was promised a safe and ethical work place; however, on numerous documented occasions my direct superior has order me and others to knock on doors of private homes and gated communities clearly marked no soliciting. On multiple occasions I have been placed into precarious situations in which the homeowners have answered the door with some form of weaponry and or blatant hostility to the fact that we were knocking on the doors we were ordered to knock. Yet when these clear violations are reported my superior, he says “good”, “your not trying hard enough”, or “go to the next one”, with no intentions of stopping unethical behaviors. This alone is grounds for promissory estoppel, at the least, if not clear labor violations of employer responsibilities. Today I’m not only filing a complaint for these things, but also, for wrongful termination. Whenever I disclosed this information and asked for my written contract of employment I was immediately let go by my superior, Gabriel Snow. This is a retaliatory act for holding my employer liable for the written and many quasi contracts established during our interactions.
