Wait Time
I had a 10:00 AM Appointment at Town Fair Tire in North Providence yesterday to have my winter tires, which I had purchased there a few years ago, switched with my regular tires. I arrived at 9:45 and sat in the waiting room. I could see my car outside the window, and they took the car in at 12:40. The car wasn't ready until after 2:00 PM. People who came...

I'm very sad. Made an appointment 11/30/23 for rotation of tires and alignment. Usually I drop the vehicle off, today I waited. I was first one in appointment of 7:45 AM. I sat in the waiting room in front of camera and watched. To my surprise no one worked on my car. Checked the pressure, no tires taken off. I should of went to the desk then but thought...

flat repair
On 7/21/23 I went to east hartford location because I had a "slow leak" in a tire bought at that location last year.. So far just 7000 miles on them... I don't drive far... They charged me $14 to fix it? What happened to "free" flat repair? But it gets worse... A few minutes after they get my car inside, the tech comes out and tells me it is the valve...

I pulled into the TFT in Portland Maine. I asked if they would please change my completely flat tire to the spare,as I was not from that area I live 30 min from there. I was told they were too busy and it could be 4 to 6 hours before they would have time. I can’t believe that they couldn’t help change a spare tire, which should take no more than 20 minute...

I bought 4 new tires on March 8, 2023 at Town Fair Tire in W. Lebanon, NH, spending $1200+. No 'thank you' from sales desk after paying for this. Later that day I washed my vehicle with the 4 new tires on it and noted that all of the tire's valve stems were bubbling/hissing/leaking in the water. I phoned the store and went back there to have this corrected. On the way home (2nd time) I noted the tire pressure light on my dashboard was illuminated but I couldn't immediately go back to Town Fair Tire. So today I phoned the store and went back. The employee said the banded sensors were never reset after the valve stem repair. This took 2 additional visits to get it right. My round trip mileage for each visit is 40 miles, not to mention the time out of my busy day. I never received a 'thank you' for the original sale or an apology for my subsequent visits. I am disappointed in T.F. T. Service
Desired outcome: Teach your employees to say "thank you" after someone spends money at your facilities, no matter the amount and an apology for poor service would be appreciated. What happened to good manners & good service??
Service in Stamford, CT
I arrived at the Stamford location at 730 am I was second in line waiting for the doors to open, all the parking spots were blocked with cones and still managed to park in a space, when the opened the doors, this rude individual made all the cars that were parked in a line not in a space to go around the back were the tire garages are now I was 7th in line, I complained to the individual and he raised hands in the air and very rudely answered what do you want me to do. All he had to do was to remove the parking space cones to let the other cars park, So I left.
Desired outcome: I think you need to teach your managers some manners on how to treat customers, what was the purpose of me getting there early.
"overlooked 4 damaged rims"
About a year ago I purchased a used Mercedes-Benz and after having it for about 2 months, I started noticing shaking. I knew it was about time to get new tires anyways so I called Town Fair tire in Danvers Massachusetts and informed them that my car was shaking and I needed to purchase for new tires. Purchased very expensive, top of the line tires and scheduled my appointment to have them put on. Got to my appointment and they told me the representative that ordered my tires had ordered the wrong size on two of my tires because my Mercedes has a offset and has 2 different sized tires. They ordered the "correct" tires (upon research I found out I did not NEED to use the 2 different sized tires). So they offered to put the two that they had in stock on and they would put the others on when they came in. I said no thank you, I would prefer to wait for all of them to be in stock so everything is properly aligned and balanced. About a week later I came in and had those four tires put on and reminded them that the reason I was purchasing these tires was because my car was shaking. They call me to let me know my car is all set and I could pick it up. Upon picking it up I immediately noticed that it was still shaking. I called and they told me the reason it was still shaking was because I needed a tie rod. I believed them and purchased a tie rod and had my mechanic put it on. Car was still shaking. Had it alligned and the shaking continued. I must have gone to my mechanic a minimum of five times telling them something is seriously wrong with my car and that the shaking was progressively getting worse. My mechanic put my car up on the lift and there was nothing mechanically wrong with it. My mechanic suggested that I bring it back to Town Fair tire and have them inspect the rims. The rims? Well that would be impossible because I just bought four brand new tires and had these tire professionals put them on... There was no way that they could have seen past damaged rims but yet see a broken tie rod. I called and spoke to the manager of the Danvers location who was very kind. He told me to bring the car down and that he would personally take a look and if it was anything tire related that he would be able to tell. He made an appointment with me for the following day at 11:00 a.m. . I arrived at 10:45 and had my two-year-old with me. I tell the gentleman at the front desk what is going on and that I had an appointment with the manager. He tells me that they are going to balance and rotate my tires for me. I tell him that I am going to be waiting and that I have my young child with me and to please call me as soon as it is ready as I am going to try to entertain her in a nearby business. After 2 hours had passed and I still had not heard from them, I decided to walk back over and see if they had taken my car in at least. Once my car was within eyesight I noticed it had not moved, they had not even began and it had been over 2 hours. I had an appointment with a manager. I was furious. My toddler was overtired and ready to go. I walked in and said why has my car not moved and it's been over 2 hours. The gentleman working the front desk was so incredibly rude, he told me they could only work on one vehicle at a time and other people had been waiting longer. About 10 minutes later they take my car in. Within 5 minutes the gentleman up front is dangling my keys and telling me I'm all set. He then tells me that all four of my rims are damaged and I'm going to need to purchase 4 new rims. I said they are damaged? How? And how did you guys overlook that when you put my brand new tires on. The gentleman responds with "I don't know what to tell you, you must have hit something or hit lots of potholes". Nice try but nope. If I had hit something and hit it hard enough to damage all of my rims then why would all of my tires be in perfect condition? They wouldn't. Absolute joke
Front counter tech
I went to Londonderry NH Town Fair Tire for an alignment. I was told after already paying that tgere was not enough adjustment to straighten the tires. Upon leaving, I realized that the steering wheel was still off by about 20 degrees from straight. It was never addressed at all. I brought my car back to my mechanic of 25 years who replaced every front end part himself beforehand. I told him what happened, so he jacked up the car, got underneath it again and assured me that all the parts were new and correct for the vehicle. I then made another appointment with Town Fair Londonderry and explained what I did since. The tech I was working with and I were rudely interrupted by Garrett, who proceeded to get belligerent and argumentative with me. Instead of putting my car on the lift and looking at it, he decided to make up potential situations that could happen. I tried to ensure him of the facts, and he just was belligerent. I ended up walking out without my front end aligned after I had already paid for the service. I would like to be paid back for tge service tgat was not performed as now I need to take more of my valuable time to schedule a 3rd front end alignment and pay a second time. As of now, I will never step foot in another Town Fair Tire and I will go to social media with my story. This is not how to treat a paying customer. This situation was handled very poorly.
Desired outcome: I would like my money back that I paid for a service that I never recieved! I would also like for Garrett to be dealt with properly for treating customers so disrespectful!
I am complaining about the service at Town Fair tire in Brockton Massachusetts
I brought four tires from Town Fair tire every tire on my vehicle was still under warranty however someone at the shop over torque the bolts. On the tire that had the sidewall flat. There was no technician that was able to take the bolts out the wheels to remove it the manager called me and told me I have to move my truck because there is no way the bolts are coming out. I told the manager that Town Fair tire was the last people that took my tires off my vehicle how am I going to be responsible for a act that you all done. However he told me that I cannot help the technicians I respect that over insurance purposes I then told him to pull the truck out and I would do it in the parking lot. I agree to break the bolts so that they could remove the wheel to put the new tire on. While breaking the bolts I also broke my tools that's how tight it was mounted onto my sprinter van. However I was able to do it and they did the job and charge me $92. I then went to the store and purchase a new four-way and also a breaker bar I then use that tool to see if the other side was extremely tight and it was I am now asking for a refund and I also would like to bring my truck to a location and have you all remove the bolt and retighten them to the accurate torque I called the manager and never got a response yet. I was pissed off because that Town Fair tire always have issues but it was very convenient because my son lives right down the street
Desired outcome: Would like to get refunded for my $92 because I'm the one that removed the bolts not none of your technicians however I also would like to have another tire put on and remove the overtalk bolts

Desired outcome: Want the lock for my tires that you lost and refused to look for and locked down the store and drove away while I was standing there .

Just got my (2006 toyota tacoma) truck back... Had a 1:00 appointment and picked it up at 3:30... Seems like a bit longer than anticipated... However... When I looked the truck over I could see that the rims no longer had the "caps" that extend out... The manager then came out to attempt to insinuate that it was something that someone else had done to cause this problem... Or perhaps me... Possibly I had it welded... The only place that I have ever had tires rotated is at town fair tire... Soooo i'm thinking that if anybody screwed these up it was probably town fair tire...In the end there was no resolve except for me to purchase another 4 hubcap extensions... (does this sound normal)... I was told that they would probably be about $5 a piece and would be in by thursday (2 days)... And when I got home I received a voice mail saying that it looks like it will be more like 10 days... This whole experience is certainly not on the level of an l.L. Bean customer satisfaction... Totally unacceptable... I will attempt to send pictures of the ruined extensions... All four... Not just one... What would you do

Underquote wait time, discrimination when deciding who gets serviced first. 01453.

Tires
I had my tires replaced in March 2019 as they were noted bad during my vehicle inspection. During inspection in June 2020 (Delayed due to COVID) was told I had 2 bald tires. Took vehicle to town fair tires and they agreed. I drive on studs 4 months of the year so in essence the tires have been on my vehicle for only 12 months. The tires are rated for 40, 000 miles and I didn't even get 12, 000 on them. I asked if they inspected them in March 2020 when they reinstalled and they said yes. At first he said the tires wore because I didn't rotate and balance them. I showed him receipts of both. The gentleman then said the car had 150, 000 on it on 26 Mar 2020, on 8 June I have 163, 000. He stated I've driven 13, 000 miles in two months and there was nothing he can do. This is NOT possible as I had 158, 526 on the car when I renewed my registration on 7 Mar 2020. Yet his ‘records' show 150, 000 on 26 March. Again NOT possible for me to go backwards during the month or March nor is it remotely possible for me to drive 13, 000 miles in 2 months. Mind you the entire US was under this COVID quarantine and no one was traveling anywhere. Shenanigans at the Biddeford, Maine Town Fair Tire store. I've been a very loyal customer for almost 20 years and can't believe I got the treatment I got today by anybody.
