0 Stars for this business. I received a notice to pay my maintenance fee before October for 2021, but I can't get in touch with them. They handle maintenance fees for the Grand Solmar, but the number they gave me leads to a robotic voice with no response or call back. I've called them at least 12 times, and now I'm hesitant to send my check without knowing the exact charge. Avoid using this company. The Grand Solmar Resort is also unhelpful. I think I'll just give up on my timeshare.
Grand Solmar and Trinity Resorts are a scam
Grand Solmar and Trinity Resorts are a scam. I want to complain about Trinity Services because they manage Grand Solmar.
My name is J ***on. On 2/13, my husband and I were on vacation for our anniversary. We were approached at the airport and offered a discounted massage for $100 for 2 people, along with a free breakfast. We didn't know it was actually a time share presentation. When we arrived at Grand Solmar and found out it was a time share presentation, we told the girl that we were only interested in the massage and breakfast. They said it would be a 10-minute presentation, so we decided to stay. We had our meal, took a tour, and then the salespeople started pressuring us. They took us to a meeting room, served us strong margaritas, and the salesperson tried to convince us to buy.
They promised us multiple uses of the time share throughout the year, with no limits as long as it was available. They said we could use it whenever, except for New Year's, and there were no blackout dates. They also told us that the maintenance fee would never change. They quoted us $1,400 for the year, but the contract mentioned that the maintenance fees could be increased by the seller due to inflation. The salesperson assured us that the fees never change. They also said that if we didn't use the time share, we could call their customer service number before April 30th and not pay the maintenance fee. I tried calling multiple times, but there was no answer. Finally, after being on hold for 35 minutes, I spoke to someone who told me to email the owners' administration department. However, the contract listed a different number to call.
Under pressure and influenced by the margaritas, we ended up signing the contract and paid a deposit of $13,700, along with other additional fees. Since we returned from Cabo on 2/17, I have been trying to call, but couldn't reach anyone. I even called and texted the salesperson, who promised that someone would call me back to cancel, but no one ever did. There was also something mentioned about a mandatory refurbishing fee. I want to terminate my contract with Grand Solmar because they falsified the documentation and were outright dishonest. Beware of this business, as they will take advantage of you.

A payment of 20,600.00 was mistakenly charged to my credit card for someone else. I've been trying to sort out this problem with the company for more than a week now. They've been telling me for almost a week that they would refund the amount, but it hasn't happened yet. I call them almost every day, and they keep saying that they've forwarded it for further action, but there's still no solution. This issue started on 03/29. I've given them a bank statement as proof of the mistake, but there's been no resolution except for them saying it's under review.

This company's website *** under the testimonials section my name, *** an a picture of my likness is listed with a narrative of recommendation for this company. Neither me or my company has ever done business with Trinity Resort Services, I or my company have never recommended Trinity resort Services. In fact I didn't know who Trinity Resort Services was before a colleague made me aware of the blatant misuse of my name an likness to promote they business with this fake professional referenence.

Grand Solmar/Trinity services has tricked us into making multiple purchases based on false information and we are extremely angry about the entire process. They gave us alcohol during a presentation and even though we clearly stated that we were not interested in a timeshare, they continued to insist that it was actually a vacation club. They emphasized that if we were dissatisfied, we could easily get rid of it. This is NOT true. It is not a product that can be sold. Now, after already paying them thousands of dollars, they are demanding an additional $4623 to take it back. We bought it less than a year ago and have encountered nothing but problems. We have never been able to use it, yet they expect us to give them even more money. We want a refund for being deceived and cheated out of over $9000.

I bought a Timeshare contract from Trinity Resort Services, LLC around 5 years ago
I bought a Timeshare contract from Trinity Resort Services, LLC around 5 years ago. I paid the full amount of approximately $22K in cash. Every year, I have been diligent in paying my maintenance fee and sometimes an accelerated week, which I also paid for along with an $89 accelerated charge. According to my contract, I need to have all my maintenance fees up to date in order to use the property. Additionally, the contract included two "free" developer weeks, of which I have used one and have one remaining unused.
Recently, I purchased an accelerated week for May . However, when I contacted Trinity to obtain my confirmation, they refused to provide it, stating that I still owed a maintenance fee for 2019. Due to their refusal, I had no choice but to cancel my fully paid trip and flight for May. I am extremely frustrated because they would not give me the confirmation I needed. Today, I had a conversation with Odilia G (the CEO) and Candy V (the Office Manager/Executive Assistant). They continue to insist that I owe for 2019 and are not allowing me to use my fully paid timeshare. It is clear to me that they are engaging in fraudulent practices.
I bought a timeshare with Grand Solomar in 2015
I bought a timeshare with Grand Solomar in 2015. In January , I contacted the company because I couldn't access my account. They told me my account got canceled in September (without telling me). Trinity Resort Services kept taking money from my bank account until January . I asked for an explanation and where all the money they took went. They said a "manager" would get back to me. I waited a month, but no response. I called again and got transferred to a "manager". The "manager" said their records showed payments until September and that I was lying. I told them I had bank records with the company's endorsements. They asked for copies and said they would follow up. It's been a week, and they haven't contacted me. I hope I don't have to wait another month.
We need your help to kindly ask Trinity Resort Services (TRS) to cancel the GSVC Contract #*** (Exh
We need your help to kindly ask Trinity Resort Services (TRS) to cancel the GSVC Contract #*** (Exh. A) dated July 4, and reinstate our previous GSVC Contract #*** (Exh. B) from July 3, WITHOUT any penalties. Additionally, we request that our deposit of $4705.00 be credited to our TRS Acct #***. Furthermore, we urge TRS to rectify their website within 30 days due to fraudulent inducement. On July 4, we stayed in a Presidential Unit under the impression that we owned one. We asked the salesperson to verify our contract, but she refused to provide it. Instead, she assured us that she had reviewed our contract and confirmed it as Membership #*** for a Presidential Unit (Exh. C). Trusting her words, we proceeded to purchase Membership #*** (Exh. A) for a Penthouse Unit and paid a deposit of $4,705.00. However, upon returning home, we were shocked to discover that the salesperson had deceived us! We strongly believe that the salesperson and GSVC were aware of her deception and intentionally misled us into buying a Penthouse Unit (Exh. A) when we already owned one (Exh. B)! We desperately need assistance!
I had a reservation for April 26-May 3
I had a reservation for April 26-May 3. I paid my maintenance fee when they sent me the bill. Due to the virus they canceled my reservation. I understand why they canceled. So I was contacted and told I could make a reservation in the next 2 years since they canceled me out. I emailed several of the people who are in charge at the resort and explained that I would take any dates in the next year for my unit ***. I've got a one of a kind penthouse that I paid extra for at the time of the purchase and higher maintenance fees. After talking with several of the people about my request I was contacted by Randy *** of Trinity Resort Services. He told me that he couldn't guarantee my unit. I told him that I've got a one of a kind unit, *** and that that's what I'm paying for, and I want that unit. I was told no they wouldn't give me the unit that is mine. In closing I know for sure if I gave them a year to book me in my upgraded unit they could if they wanted too. The airlines refunded my money as soon as I requested it back. Since I've been in the time share circle I know how it works and they are just playing the game so they can rent my unit out and make more money on a new reservation. I did a charge back on my credit card and I'm totally not going to settle for anything else except my unit ***.
I paid too much to the Management Company for my timeshare on Sept 26, 2020
I paid too much to the Management Company for my timeshare on Sept 26, 2020. I've been trying to get my money back since October 1st! I paid $1,310.00 for the Playa Grande resort maintenance fee, but it turns out I was overcharged by $140.05. Trinity refuses to give me the $140.05 difference! They say I can make another payment of $1,065.00 and then they'll refund me $1,310.00 or credit the $140.05 towards next year's dues. But all I want is the $140.05 overpayment! Why should I trust them to send me $1,310.00 if they can't send me $140.05? I just want my $140.10 that they admit they owe me!
Grand Solmar and Trinity Resorts are a scam
Grand Solmar and Trinity Resorts are a scam. I want to complain about Trinity Services because they manage Grand Solmar Resorts. I was tricked into signing my contract with Grand Solmar on 02/25. The circumstances when I bought my timeshare were very high-pressure. Multiple sales representatives bombarded me constantly. They threw all these amazing facts at me and never gave me time to process anything. Eventually, I signed my contract with the sales representative, Cheryl ***. I couldn't read the actual contract before signing and had to rely on what the sales representative "paraphrased". Now I realize I was only told what I wanted to hear to make me sign. They said I could travel anytime with my family for much cheaper than outside. They said I could upgrade to a larger condo anytime. They said I could easily exchange my weeks. None of this has been true. I can never book a stay, and this whole thing is much more expensive than what they presented. Two years later, I still haven't been able to use my timeshare. I won't pay for something I can't use. On top of this, I've had many personal issues since signing with this company. I went through identity theft, which caused me so much grief that I had to start seeing a psychologist. I also had medical hardships since 2018. I've contacted Grand Solmar for many months, but they won't talk to me. They ignore my emails, refuse to speak on the phone, and won't let me talk to a supervisor. Trinity Services needs to take responsibility for Grand Solmar's actions and address all my concerns. I deserve to have my contract with Grand Solmar terminated at this point.
We wanna get out of our timeshare ASAP!
We wanna get out of our timeshare ASAP! Me and my wife *** own a timeshare with Trinity Resort Services, specifically Grand Solmar. We got invited to a presentation with the perks of a free breakfast and a $400 voucher. At the presentation, which went on for hours, there were unlimited margaritas. The sales guy rushed through the contract and didn't give us time to look at it, and he didn't even go over the other info on the back side of the contract. They told us we could go anywhere in the world and use weeks from the back end multiple times throughout the year. They also said it would be cheaper than using *** or another travel site. After thinking it over, we agreed to buy it. But the next day, we changed our minds and wanted to cancel. They said we had 5 days to change our minds. When we went to talk about canceling, they said we had to pay 40% of the contract, which is $15,000. Then they "felt sorry" for us and let us have the cheapest package so we wouldn't lose money. Since we bought it, we've had a bunch of issues. I had to delay our loan payment because of some money problems, and they originally said I could delay it as long as I needed, but that turned out to be false when I tried. I could only push it back one month. Soon after, they billed me for maintenance fees, which was another burden. They said I could make quarterly payments to make it easier, and I agreed. But then I found out that the quarterly bills start the year before, so I was paying for 2020 AND 2021 fees at the same time. There have been too many incidents like this. Trinity Resorts has shown that they're unprofessional with their lying and confusing tactics.
EXTORTION!
EXTORTION! Imagine bein called days before a dream vacation and bein told you owe an additional $600 because they (Trinity) made a mistake. EXTORTION My wife and I are owners of two Solmar timeshare condo and one Playa Grande. We paid cash for the weeks and owe nothin on them other than the maintenance fees. We bought our first timeshare condo at Solmar Condos about 20 years ago and we have owned the Playa Grande for more than 10 years. Over the years, we have met the *** family, other management and staff, and while this is not a direct complaint against Solmar, their choice in management is a terrible reflection of their ability to deliver value. Solmar made a transition to a new management company called Trinity Resort Services and the transition has been quite challenging. Trinity has made multiple mistakes on bookin our reservations which have affected the outcome of our family trips and ones that we have gifted to friends with extra fees that we were not disclosed at the time of bookin and then threats to cancel just before the trip dates. they literally have held us hostage with a phone call days before our departure askin for more money because of their mistake. they don't own up to their mistake and they don't settle for anythin less than what they want or they'll cancel your trip. The overall experience has caused me to look to liquidate my remainin weeks and to never look back at Solmar due to their poor management choices. While we love the resorts, we cannot afford the headache of a management company who makes the experience unbearable. Thank you Trinity for bringin clarity to us on never needin to expand or own any more weeks with Solmar. Thank you for takin the joy out of bookin our family vacations. Thank you for not sendin me our maintenance invoices, accurately bookin our vacations, and makin extra hard for us to support Solmar.
We bought a timeshare in Cabo with Grand Solmar in 2019
We bought a timeshare in Cabo with Grand Solmar in 2019. They misrepresented what we were sold. When we bought it, they gave us a lot of alcohol and sold us a vacation program that doesn't exist. While we still had 72 hours to cancel the contract, I reached out to clarify the wording to make sure what we bought was legitimate. We bought a timeshare with an "addendum" that said we could use weeks 1-51 without any extra money. We have signed addendums and emails that support this, saying we can use our timeshare for weeks 1-51 every other year, even years. But when we tried to book our first time in 2020, they said we would have to pay more because it was an off week (week 12) and we could only use weeks 17-34. We showed them the texts, addendums, and settled the issue with Amy ***, a Senior Developer at Solmar. We were able to book our week in 2020, week 12, but had to cancel because of the pandemic. We had no problem booking in 2021 with no extra fees. Now we're trying to book for 2022 and facing the same issues. They say we only have a contract for even years, weeks 17-34, during the Red winter. I've tried many times to get them to honor what their sales representative sold us. When we bought it in 2019, they sold us a Vacation club points program that doesn't exist. I have text messages from the next day with the sales rep trying to clarify what was sold, wanting to cancel, and being reassured we could use the timeshare for weeks 1-51 every other year. None of this has been true. There was no vacation club points program when they sold it to us, and they haven't kept their promise that we can use weeks 1-51 every other year. I have emails that say they will, but the most recent one says no. I want this resolved and a full refund.
The company involved in Fraud Scam
The company involved in Fraud Scam. On 10/23, I got a call from them claiming they were part of *** Travel Destination and offered me discount packages for trips to Mexico, Hawaii, and Dominican Republic. They kept trying to sell me, but eventually lowered the package price to $799.00. They had me talk to different people who gave me Receipt# XXXXXD and I.D. Booking # XXXXX. They promised to send me all the details via email, but I never received anything. I checked my *** email account daily, including my Spam box, but still no information. I contacted my *** credit card company to report a possible scam, and they told me to wait until the charges show up. The next day, I called the number that appeared on my Cell X-XXX-XXX-XXXX to follow up on the promised information, but only got an answering machine. I left a message about the issue and asked for a call back, but got no reply. I tried multiple times, but could only reach the answering machine and got no response. I waited until my BoA Credit Card Statement showed the transaction. On 11/03, my *** CC Statement showed the charges. The charge of $799.00 was posted on 10/24 and processed on 10/26. It was under *** Beach Destinations with a Phone # X-XXX-XXX-XXXX, which I called to investigate the charges. They are under the Trinity Resort Umbrella. I spoke to someone there who told me to call Member Service # X-XXX-XXX-XXXX. They told me to call X-XXX-XXX-XXXX, who then told me to call X-XXX-XXX-XXXX. They told me to check my Spam again, but I found no information. They said the receipt number and booking number were incomplete and couldn't find any booking information under my name. I called the number on my Credit Card Statement that processed the charges, but couldn't get any answers. After several attempts to reach someone for answers, with no reply, I believe this is a Scam and Fraud. I have filed a complaint with my *** Credit Card Fraud Dept. I have some documentation as proof if needed, but I will wait to share it since it has confidential information.
Trinity Resort Service is thretening to send my account to collections becuz they failed to update my paid account in July
Trinity Resort Service is thretening to send my account to collections becuz they failed to update my paid account in July . After being coersed to purchase a *** timeshare in Los Cabos, I paid the balance off the loan in full of over $6K, but accumulated maintenance fees and $79 monthly past dues fees which I paid off in full in July . My account records do not show this payment or any payments I have provided since then. Trinity Resort Services falsely accuses me of being delinquent in my payments for over 910 days. As a result, the company is threatening to send it to collections. I called in July 31 after receiving a letter about my account in danger of going to collections. A woman who called herself Isabella assisted me through the process and notice the neglect of updating the account on TRS part. I made a payment of $50 just so the change would update the account information. I was told to wait a couple of days for results. It is August 18 and there has been no change in the balance and no evidence of the July payment or the July payment. I access the account via ***.com. I called TRS again 8/14, letting them know I was an unhappy customer, wanted to speak with Isabella (who he had never heard of), and wanted my account updated. After which, I was willing to pay the balance in full. I was met with opposition from Jose C, who called himself the manager, telling me that my payment was over 900 days overdue, that it must be paid. Then he saw notes in the system of the payments I made. He quoted the balance that Isabella gave me 31 July . I made the request to have my account updated before I pay off the balance. Again, I was met with opposition. Then I asked to speak with someone who would provide better service. He hung up on me, but I called back several times until I heard someone more receptive to my requests on the line. It was a female who told me what Jose C told me. She also did not honor my request for an updated account. She hadn't even sought out anyone to see if it was a possibility. I mentioned that. She apologized, then said she would. The account is still not updated. It is 8/18. In 2018, I made a great effort to get rid of the timeshare, but was not able to because my account did not reflect that it was paid in full. Now I am in the same situation, which is why I am requesting an updated account, so that I will not have paid hundreds, even thousands of dollars for nothing. I have never made any use of the timeshare, and regretted the purchase soon after I bought it. I was not able to get out of the contract within 5 days, although I tried. In 2018, when I contacted *** Resorts to surrender the contract, I was told there was a $1500 fee to get started. I was given a 3rd party company whose phone number area code was 404. I was told there would be a $1500 fee. I thought about it a while, but when I called back just weeks later, the phone number was no longer in service. This is fraud and scamming. Sharks are taking advantage of innocent people like me who are trying to take relaxing vacations. It is contract rigged for the innocent purchaser, who didn't want to purchase in the first place, to get stuck in for years and years.
