I had a really bad experience with Tripaneer. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They don't follow through on their promises and they won't give you your money back if they mess up.
I booked a trip with them and they changed the terms of the contract after I had already paid my deposit. That's not fair! You can't just change the rules like that. It's against the law.
When I tried to get my deposit back, they refused. They said that I had agreed to the new terms, but I hadn't. I had only agreed to the original terms. They were being really shady and dishonest.
I would never book with Tripaneer again. They're not trustworthy and they don't care about their customers. Save yourself the trouble and book with someone else.

So, I had booked a meditation retreat through Tripaneer Bookmeditationretreats. I was really excited about it, but then the corona virus happened and the event was cancelled. The person holding the retreat was really nice and agreed to refund my 465 deposit, which was great. But then I found out that the company owned by Robert Den Hollander, Tripaneer, was refusing to refund my money. They said they would only give me a credit, which is not what I wanted at all.
Now I have to pay even more for airfare if I want to go to another retreat, which is really frustrating. I chose this event because it was being held at a time when I already had time off work and it was in the same country I live in. When I asked for a refund, the customer service person was really snarky and unhelpful. I haven't heard back from them since then, which is really disappointing.
I mean, it would be one thing if I had cancelled the retreat myself, but they cancelled it and now they're keeping my money. It's not fair at all. It feels like they're just trying to make money off of people who are struggling because of the pandemic. I would definitely not recommend booking with Tripaneer. They're the worst.
