Customer service
Truworths staff are very unprofessional, they don't greet you when you come into the store and they don't even bother to sanitize anymore. they stare at you while you are shopping as if you will steal something, today I had an experience in your rosebank branch, the customer service was non-existent, the staff stared at me the whole time that made me feel uncomfortable, I don't know if you train your staff to treat your customers like criminals, secondly I went to the uzzi section of the store, saw a nice pair of shoes that I liked and asked the older lady who was working there if they have size 8 and what the return policy is for defective items, she then told me to proceed to the pay point to ask the cashier to assist as she was unable to for whatever reason that's besides the point, as I walk to the till this guy from the fitting room stops me and tells me I can't go to the till with the shoes as if I'm going to run away and steal it🤣🤣🤣 then the older lady had to come in and tell him to let me pass as she said it's fine for me to go to the till as I had some questions before my purchase that I'd like to ask, but the manner in which he looked at me and made me feel like I'm not welcome in your store! I'm disgusted to the core the customer service is not of international standards that you so pride yourself in! This is a perfect example of incompetent staff and a brand that criminalizes it's customers!
Dress
I received a dress as a gift from my sister, the size was wrong. I took the slip am tried to return it for Cash at wonderpark Mall. They refused saying the item number are not the same, where will I get another slip? I asked them for a voucher because I can't keep an item that does not fit me but they refused. Your return policy is close to impossible, what should I do with this item now?

Did an online purchase on 29/08/20 order no. o102273224 one of the items a stone coat style no. 7260890 was rejected don't know why when I enquired was told to do a fashion delivery which I did to a nearest store and delivery is free, on the online purchase the price was listed at R290 and when I did a fashion delivery I was charged R390 why is this, I want to be charged the price that I initially saw it for at R290 so please sort this out asap, because from my understanding as a customer I know I'm right and it's a matter of principle that you'll keep to the price that was listed, also sending photo of the coat and price. Illegal handing over of account
I'm experiencing financial problems as a result of Covid 19 Pandemic. My family was working for private sectors and during Lockdown all of them became by burden for living. My account with Truworths ended up in arrears. My account was paid through a debit order, at certain stage Truworths deducted + R5000. 00 via debit order without my concern. I reversed the debit order and send an email requesting R500, 00 to be deducted from my bank account they didn't respond to my email instead they harass me through telephone calls, debit order of R500. 00 pm was made which was less from my monthly installment. 1st deduction of R500. 00 was made via debit order as arranged. I received a call after deduction from Truworths collections that the system does not accept amount that was below my installment I told them that it is only amount that I can afford. After that sms was received that I should pay R740, 00 for my account not to be handed over then I paid R240. 00 in store knowing very well that R500, 00 will be deducted as per arrangement. There is no Truworths store to where so I depend to Debit Order also on my email I requested their banking details. Thereafter, no deduction was made and I was called by Blake Lady who told me that my debit order of R500.00 was canceled. I dropped an email requesting reasons of canceling debit order without my concern up until now I never received that information instead they told me that they receive an error message when trying to make deductions that debit order was not allowed [though I was never informed of the problem they encountered] I requested them to provide the print screen, no print screen was provided until now. Instead Tania from Blake's is responding on their behalf. I told Tania that Blake is a 3rd party in this matter I'm still waiting for Truworths to respond to my communication since there is a dispute cause I wanted to know who will incur legal/administration costs of Blake after Truworths decided to cancel my debit order.
I used to be a loyal customer to Truworths but after this incident I will never deal with company that add problems on top of those I have I rather buy from Chinese shop where I will be treated with dignity than being harrased by Truworths.
Response I expecting from Truworths should cover the following:-
1. Reasons for cancelation of debit order without my concern.
2. Why I was not contacted when there is a problem with debit order arranged.
3. Who will incur legal/Admin costs of Blakes.
Please provide proof on your response.
Lastly, I requested that we should communinicate via email for record purposes.

Manufacturing default
I bought a pair of sneakers online, order o102571348 and when I received the item there was a manufacturing default. I returned the item to truworths n1 city on 12.09.2020 and I honestly don't feel that I should pay the handling fee and shipping fee that was involved when I returned the item, as this is clearly not my fault. So I would like a refund for the handling and shipping fee. Kindly assist.
Illegally unable to opt out of sms spam
I was told that I am unable to opt out of promotional SMSs and that I am unable to discontinue my account at Truworths. This is ILLEGAL according to the Federal Trade Commission and must be reported.
Still waiting for correct online order
I ordered a few garments order number O97944883 on 30 July 2020. Most of the garments came back as out of stock but I received an incorrect size (XL) for the Navy Suede Bomber Jacket. I went to and from the branch (Springbok) because they did not receive any instruction from the online team on what to do. Finally they made contact with Springbok branch and I took the jacket back. They promised that another branch will send the correct size (XXL) but still on 7 September 2020 I have received nothing. I just think it is very bad service that the online team has not followed this up.

I spoke to a customer service agent this morning who called to ask when i'm going to pay my installment for the month. I told the girl I would either go in to a store to pay today or tomorrow. She said that's fine and we ended the call. After that about every 30 minutes I received a calls from customer service asking me the same questions. I am at work where i'm not supposed to be sitting on a phone and here it's ringing off the hook and it's only calls from your agents. Not only is it irritating it is also borderline harrassment. You cannot call someone like 4 times in a row to ask the same god damn questions. Ha and I bet you guys charged me per call on my account too

On the 14th of July I received an email from Truworths to say I'm in arrears by ONE MONTH. I sent an email immediately to apologise for that and I explained my situation. Below is a copy of my email. I'm just absolutely mad, frustrated, disappointment that despite my email, Truworths have been haunting me via SMS's, phone calls because of this. As soon as I have paid off my account I will be closing it as quite frankly I'm being treated like I'm a criminal and I proactively informed you why I am in arrears. Since that date, I've had about 20 phone calls from Truworths. I've had enough. I'm closing my account.

Payment arrangements
I need assistance regarding the Truworths account I used to have which is now being handed over to another company, which I've been struggling for months now to get hold of. Fraud on truworths account
I am extremely dissapointed with my experience at Truworths. I have had fraud on my account where some one has maxed my store limit. My account was paid up with Truworths and I wanted to keep it that way for financial reasons. I have loged a dispute, I have got an affidavit from the police and I have sent all the information required from me. It has been one week and my case is still being investigated. I want this to be resolved and my account closed with Truworths. I trusted Truworths with my personal confidential information which was obviously not protected and I have been a good customer for many years, the lack of urgency is truly dissapointing. This is a very stressful experience.

Good afternoon.
Earlier today I tried to enter the Identity branch at the Mfula Mall in Piet Retief (Mpumalanga). I was refused entry into the store by the security guard who informed me I was not allowed in as I was not wearing a mask. I was in fact, wearing a BUFF so my face was completely covered. This is probably the ONLY store in the branch who are doing things differently, as none of the others have had issues with this perfectly acceptable face cover.
I would like to know if this is IDENTITY BRANCH POLICY or is it simply the Piet Retief staff and security flexing their muscles and adding to the already unpleasant experience of shopping during the Covid-19 pandemic. I would think that with the economy struggling and being shut for weeks on end, that they would embrace Customers and trade and not refuse them entry.
If it is policy then as a Customer I insist that there should be SIGNAGE to that effect stating that you are not allowed into the store UNLESS you are ONLY wearing a mask.
There are thousands of people wearing buffs as masks, is Identity going to refuse them all entrance to their stores?

I received a voucher from Truworths encouraging me to buy on my account where I get R100 off if I spend R350 or more on my account. I did so before the voucher expired and the discount was applied, however the jersey did not fit me, it was one size too big. I went to Truworths Festival mall and since they didn't have a size either, I had them deliver one via store delivery on my account with the intention of returning the larger size when the smaller one arrives. Today I went to pick up my order for which I was very excited as I absolutely love this jersey and do the exchange, assuming I would pay what I did initially after the voucher was applied since I am litteraly doing a size swop for the exact same jersey I bought initially in order to use my voucher before it expired, only to find out that my voucher now falls away for no good reason since apparently, according to festival mall staff I am returning the "discounted jersey" and my voucher can not be used against the jersey I had ordered via store delivery. This makes absolutely NO sense to me as this would not have been the case if the store had a size Medium in stock and I didn't need to order one, there should be no reason why I now had to pay R100 more if I bought it initially when I had a voucher and only needed a different size of the exact same jersey. Needles to say, I returned both jerseys and now have no jersey and no voucher as it has expired and all to no avail since I used it for absolutely nothing at all. Thank you Truworths for nothing, for having such incompetent staff that they can not understand the simple concept of doing a size swop with no price implications. I am very very disappointed.
