TV Land Disappointed with Recent Content Decisions

As a long-time viewer of TV Land, I must say I am deeply disappointed with the recent content decisions. The shift towards what some perceive as 'woke' programming has alienated many loyal fans. The lack of diversity in the programming choices and the controversial celebration of certain heritage months have left a sour taste. I miss the days of enjoying classic sitcoms without feeling like there's an agenda being pushed. I hope TV Land reconsiders its direction and listens to the feedback from its audience.

TV Land TV Land commercial

I have been a constant viewer of tv land but not anymore. The commercial of All the Queens men has driven me out. It is on at every commercial break and is getting very sickening! I wouldn't watch the show if I was paid because I am so sick of the commercial for it! Too repetitive and enough is enough! I'll check back in a few months and see if the advertising is still as bad but for now it's bye bye!

Desired outcome: quit with all the repetitive commercials........

TV Land Stop onscreen advertising during shows

Please stop putting advertisements on screen during shows. Today you have been advertising the jon daily show with a count down timer in the upper right and occasionally more advertising in the lower right. Please just stop. Its very distracting while trying to watch a show. We have to watch too many commercials as it is. Any more of this nonsense and you will lose a longtime customer!

TV Land Vulgar Commercials

While me and my husband like to watch tvland because that they have several tv programs we enjoy. We are constantly bombarded by the indecent inappropriate tv commercials advertising mtvs ru Paul’s drag show. We find it hard to believe that while watching whole some family oriented tv programs like - Everybody Loves Raymond, Kink of Queens as well as many others, that OBSCENE TRASH come across our screen. We pay to watch tv land and in no way do we appreciate that trash on our tv. These shows are on during the day time when children are up and they too could be watching and that GARBAGE comes on the tv. Tvland ought to be ashamed of them selves for allowing such garbage to even be broadcast on their station.

Desired outcome: Remove ru Paul’s commercials from your tv land schedule. I see that you ask for photos, I am not going to take a picture of that garbage with my phone or anything else we own!

How ironic that prior to airing Bonanza or Gunsmoke you put up warning on a big blue screen that says "This program contains outdated cultural depictions. Viewer discretion is advised"

Yet, where are the warnings for seeing Ru Paul's drag commercials. These are much more disgusting than anything I see in Bonanza or Gunsmoke.

Please remove these commercials from your programming, especially during the daytime hours.

TV Land Advertising

I am highly upset that you are allowing MyPillow and it's peripheral items to advertise on your networks. The products are insuperior to other like products.

Mike Lindell is a huckster, liar, conspiracy theorist, sells low quality products, etc.. I am just about ready to not watch any of your programs until you take this guy off the air. He is caused a lot issues not only politically, but morally. Please, please take him off the air.

Desired outcome: Discontinue

TV Land Your broadcasting of The Andy Griffith Show

Why do you bother broadcasting a show of The Andy Griffith Show and have so many commercials that you butcher the original show? You don't even finish the endings.

I've complained before about this same problem many years before, and you still haven't done anything about it. I only noticed again after just seeing the end of a show that my friend was watching at his house. I showed him the real ending and he couldn't believe it.

I'm sticking to my promise I made to your station about 10 years ago. I'll never watch TV land at my house again until you show the entire show! No need for you to have that many commercials and us also paying over $150 dollars a month for satellite service to watch incomplete shows!

Not everyone in America is in to the new trend in sexuality, and definitely do not want it shoved in our children & grandchildren's faces! There are better channels and times to be airing these commercials, if you must, like on Showtime after 10pm! Stop showing this crap during the day, during after school hours, or during dinner time! Most families I...

TV Land Commercials too loud

I agree with what others have complained about the volume difference between the show you are watching and the advertisements. The show may start out normal volume and when the commercial comes on it’s blaring. I have to keep adjusting the volume the whole time I’m trying to watch our program! It’s so annoying! Makes me not even want to keep watching. Also, I thought there had been something passed legally to keep this annoying upping of the volume during commercials from happening, am I wrong?

Desired outcome: Stopping increasing the volume during the commercials- consistent volume experience!

TV Land Tv land network.

T v land has always been a family friendly network and openly allowed in our household. In the middle of andy griffith, a several minute transgender commercial with several men wearing dresses comes on. This is mentally frustrating for my children. Another channel I have to block. This is sick that any network designed for family entertainment would even consider how many families do not want their children to be confused by this c***.

Make your own choices in life but stop trying to push it in the minds of our children. Absolutely makes me sick they're getting away with this.

Desired outcome: Put a warning before a t v show you're going to push possibly undesirable commercials.

TV Land Gay, drag, and lgbtq commercials

TV land is one of my favorite channels. Good wholesome shows. However, we are bombarded by homosexual, drag queens, LGBTQ commercials that we have to jump up and change channels while watching our TV shows with our grandchildren. This must stop. The vast majority of the public does not fall into the above categories, and quite frankly has zero interest in those categories. You are indoctrinating our children by showing these commercials irresponsibly. Furthermore, I bet it’s for a really big payday for you. Please stop this commercials on this channel especially during prime time when children are still awake and watching. This is detrimental to children and society as a whole. Stop the commercials, or you are going to see the fallout of less and less people subscribing to your services.

Desired outcome: Stop inappropriate commercials regarding homosexuality and LGBTQ

TV Land TV Land Commercials

The average viewer of family friendly shows on tv land do NOT want to see sexually related ads. If I wanted to, I would go to Bravo or mtv. I view it as a deliberate kick in the teeth to conservatives. Do you think Christian advertisements would ever be aired on mtv? That would be a resounding no! They want to be accepted but refuse to accept our way of life. Hypocrites to the bone! Bye tv land. Sad to see you caved to this raunchy agenda.

TV Land Disclaimer

June 2, 2023 - 12:00 PM. We always turn to Gunsmoke at 12 O'Clock. We love your station because most of the programs are clean, family values and enjoyable to watch. But, today I noticed for the first time that right before you started the program you had a disclaimer that stated "This program depicts outdated precepts." What do you consider outdated. Valued such as telling the truth, a person quoting a scripture during the show or how about the good guy always winning the the bad guy paying for what he has done. If you continue the practice we will not be watching you channel. I'm disgusted with the direction that the world is headed in.

Donna

TV Land RuPaul Drag Race and other inappropriate commercials on TV LAND

In my opinion the airing of inappropriate commercials during the times of day and during shows that are family oriented is egregious. Example Numerous instances of seeing that disgusting RuPaul ad while watching The Andy Griffith Show. UGH! If I was interested in that kind of show I’d switch the channel and be watching MTV not Tv Land! Shame on the executives that green light this sort of thing. At least consider only airing ads like that during late night broadcasts that would be the decent decision. I know the bottom line is all about money-making and they don’t care about kids and the folks that choose to watch Tv Land instead of channels like MTV. Do you really believe that people who are fans of the drag queen shows are the ones watching your channel?

Desired outcome: Make moral and ethical broadcasting decisions. You can’t be everything to everyone

TV Land Commercials

My problem is with the commercials that are being aired on TV Land and Great American Family channels. Primarily the rupaul drag race show. A disgusting tv show that is being aired on the MTV channel and has no business being shown on channels like TV Land or the Great American Family network. Many of the audience are respectable, decent Christian viewers and deserve to watch tv without that sickening abomination being broadcasted.

Desired outcome: Remove the rupaul drag race advertisement.

TV Land TVLand commercials

I was so disgusted when I saw this unimaginatively degrading commercial at noon time supposedly commemorating the so-called month of the woman. This commercial showed the various ways women experience pain and suffering throughout their life. It showed a pregnant woman in pain, a woman on a toilet, pulling down her underwear revealing a bloody pad. So graphic, so inappropriate! I’m so thankful my grandson wasn’t in the room at the time.

Desired outcome: To realize the degree of moral depravity to which you have sunk. Obviously, STOP the madness!!! Just don’t buy into this WOKE agenda. Stop hurting the innocent! Shame on you. Have some integrity. Don’t support filth.

TV Land Excessive commercials for programs

My family watch TV Land nightly, and find it very frustrating that your station has twice the amount of ads per program. I know you have to pay the bills, but this is overkill. We watched an episode of Raymond which runs about 22 minutes and with commercials ran 34 minutes. Seems like a lot to me and my family. I've missed the end of episode during your commercial breaks. Thanks, Michael

Desired outcome: Just my opinion and just venting!!

TV Land To the folks offended by RuPaul commercial during Andy Griffith show

You need to educate your children. This is the world now. I’d be more concerned about how women are depicted in the show or is that how your life is? How about the commercial about women and pain where they show menstrual blood? Or are you of the Carrie variety? Can’t keep your kids in a bubble forever. Educate them, answer their questions fairly. But don’t teach them your prejudice.

I suppose you like drag queens reading stories to 6 year olds? Children need to be children, they don't need ruminate one's sexual ambiguity at that age. I am as open minded as most people but even l don't want to explain why a man is stuffing himself into a dress that doesn't fit or wearing more make-up than Dolly Parton. You obviously don't have children. If you do, l feel for them.

TV Land Complaint about Drag Queen commercial on your channel.

This afternoon I was watching Andy Griffith at the prime time for my grandkids to be watching with me when a commercial advertising a drag queen show was blasted across my screen. This lifestyle is detestable to me and now so is your channel on my cable system. Ya'll should be ashamed to accept money to advertise such a vile lifestyle. This type of garbage is what is wrong with our country and I fully believe we will pay for putting up with it. Please remove such inflamatory advertising.

TV Land Inappropriate commercials

I believe the advertisement of drag shows while my family is trying to watch The Andy Griffith show is disgusting! Tv land is showing these ads during the dinner hour. Andy Griffith show is wholesome and very much enjoyed in my house. But you chose to show these disgusting ads while my grandchildren and I are trying to enjoy a TV show. WHY? Out of ALL the other times you could run these ads you chose 5:00 pm?

Desired outcome: I and many others demand these ads be pulled for this show and these hours. I'm sure you could find an alternative.

TV Land Disgusting commercials

What were you people thinking when you decided drag show and teen mom reality shows would be appropriate during family programming? Seriously think about this for a moment. I would wager 99.9% of people tuning in to watch the Andy Griffith show have zero interest in the smut shows you advertise during family program hours. Bottom line enough of this trash, we are subjected to enough politically driven "accept this or else" nonsense everyday. People navigate to your channel for an escape to a time when family values and family entertainment was just that.

Desired outcome: Discontinue running smut advertisements during family programming.

TV Land disclaimer before Bonanza & Gunsmoke

On 2/14/23 a.m. programming, I noticed for the first time a Ridiculous disclaimer preceding two older westerns. I think it is very offensive to me and my family to be warned we are viewing "outdated cultural depictions"... REALLY!?!

These shows depict nothing but good moral values and ethics! Something that has been left to the wayside in our "modern" culture.

Desired outcome: Remove disclaimers
