I received several security alerts regarding my account via email which included this sentence:
"If you didn't make this request, please call us right away at [protected]. Please do not reply to this message, as it is an automated notification."
I called and after waiting 15 minutes I opted for the call back. I got a call back and was told I was going to be transferred to Tier 2 Online Banking. As I write this, I have been on hold 28 minutes.
While waiting, I attempted to log into my account and am shut out with no option to send confirmation to email, just a message that reads "Please try again or contact us for additional assistance. Thanks!"
THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, considering this is a security issue. Umpwua used to be very personable and responsive, but perhaps this merger has changed that.
A bank that can't respond quickly to security issues is a bank to steer clear from.
Still on hold... 29 minutes ...
Desired outcome: Someone competent who can address my security issues and permit me access to my account. I can not "log in" to address anything as your email has asked me and no one is answering the number YOU ASKED ME TO CALL.
