Very unprofessional and lousy service
Very unprofessional and lousy service. Tried to purchase a car and while in process they sold the car out from under me and didn't even contact me to let me know. They ran my credit twice which gave me two hard inquiries on my credit report. Salesman was rude and hung up on me when I called him to find out what had happened. Would not recommend and will never do business with them.
This dealership made me drive 3.5 hours to check out a used car they said was in great shape
This dealership made me drive 3.5 hours to check out a used car they said was in great shape. I asked multiple times and told them to send pictures if there were any issues. They only sent one picture showing a small scratch on the bumper. After a really long drive to ***, I found out that the car had two cracks on the windshield, half of the molding was missing from the top, there were nicks and scratches all over, the seats were damaged, and the door handles didn't work. They then tried to sell me a different used car instead (seems like a bait and switch). The manager even rudely told me that he would just sell the car at an auction instead of helping with major repairs. I had to drive another 3.5 hours back home.
I just got a new car from United BMW Roswell, Ga
I just got a new car from United BMW Roswell, Ga. I've been a customer for like 15 years. At first, there was a problem with one of the "experienced" sales advisors who used some unfair sales tricks. I'm a trusting person, you know? But when I complained to the boss, they were super nice and took my issues seriously. The manager I talked to was polite, listened to me, and really wanted to fix the problem. I haven't gotten my new car yet, but I trust that they've sorted things out. I'm really happy with how quickly they responded and how hard they worked to make sure I'm happy with my car. So yeah, I'm giving United BMW of Roswell/Alpharetta Ga a 5-star rating for going above and beyond to make a loyal customer happy again.
This business is really bad, don't do business with them
This business is really bad, don't do business with them. We agreed on a price for a vehicle and they gave me a written agreement multiple times. They sent me a "purchase agreement" that I had to sign and send back, which I did. Then they asked me to send $1000 as a "partial payment," and I did. The dealership confirmed it. Because I'm from out of state, I had to buy a plane ticket to Georgia for $611. I was supposed to fly there in 4 days to pay the rest with a cashier's check. But then the salesperson (***) messaged me saying they wouldn't honor the agreement and wanted to refund my payment. We argued, but the bottom line is they wouldn't honor the signed agreement even though they accepted my payment. I was really disappointed with their unethical business practices, but I asked them to at least reimburse me for the non-refundable plane ticket. Of course, they said no. *** and United BMW are the worst "car salesmen" ever.
I used to love United BMW so much that I had made up my mind that all my current and future cars would be BMWs until I ran into United BMW
I used to love United BMW so much that I had made up my mind that all my current and future cars would be BMWs until I ran into United BMW. WATCH OUT! These guys are always on the lookout for finding ways to Break Your Wallet. I had to drop my X3 here since my emergency calling system started to malfunction. They came back to me saying that my antenna has been damaged due to an impact which I honestly have no idea how it happened. They said this had to be out of pocket and charged me $2500 including regular maintenance. I had responded saying I am reaching out to my insurance company to see if these charges can be covered. I don't know how they understood that I had asked them be on standby in ordering the parts until I approve it. The car has been in their shed for almost a week now and the parts weren't ordered until I followed up with them. Adding to this, the person who is handling my case doesn't know what customer care is. I am almost suspecting that the way he treats me is based on a racist intent. Talks to me like this is no big deal and would not give me a loaner car now that my car is going to be with them even longer. The person also knows that my insurance covers only up to $500 for rental charges. I have a 2 year old at home who goes to daycare and I badly need the car asap. Terribly disappointed with the service and customer care. These guys have made me change my opinion of what BMW is all about.
We had a really bad experience buying this car
We had a really bad experience buying this car. My family has bought lots of cars from this dealership before, but it felt like they treated my boyfriend and me differently because we were buying a cheaper BMW. I was okay with the fact that the car had to go to the shop right away and wasn't ready to go in the first place. But then, I got it back from the shop and had the same problem the next day. It seems like they just reset the computer instead of actually fixing the problem the first time. What a waste of time for everyone. To make things worse, our temporary tag was about to expire so we called to see what was going on. Turns out, they hadn't even started the process and the car needed an emissions test. They shouldn't have sold the car without passing emissions. We had to take the car back to them so they could do the emissions test, and they wanted us to go get the tag ourselves, even though it was their mistake. We told them no because we work full time and don't have the time. They kept blaming COVID for two weeks and said they would have to make an appointment and sent us a loaner car agreement. I told them they needed to make the appointment because we didn't want to deal with it. But two weeks later, they still hadn't made one, so now we had to spend two hours at the tag office on a Saturday morning, the only day we can go. Mark has been rude and not understanding, and the management hasn't contacted us yet. That's okay because we're fed up and we're going to contact the ComplaintsBoard.com and BMW of North America to make a formal complaint.
Be VERY careful working with this dealership unless you are OK with paying their advertised price for a quick and easy deal for their benefit
Be VERY careful working with this dealership unless you are OK with paying their advertised price for a quick and easy deal for their benefit. Negotiation is sneaky! Let me explain. I inquired about a 2018 *** 530e which had an advertised price of $39,995. I offered $39,000 as I felt that was a fair price for that car after looking at the market and the car's value. The sales rep came back to me at $39,196 saying I would receive a discount of $799. Although not at $39,000, I thought that was a fair compromise so I was prepared to accept the deal and place the deposit immediately until I received the *** of Sale. The *** showed the price of $39,995 minus the discount of $799 but when I looked closer at the bottom, the $799 was added back in as a Doc Fee so the car was the exact same price from the advertised price. I pointed this out and got nowhere with the sales rep. I asked to speak with the Sales Manager and he pointed out that I was receiving a discount of $799. (See the attached ***. The blue writing was from them). I explained my side. I felt like I was trying to be tricked and this seemed like an unethical business practice as it was most definitely a play on numbers to get what they wanted with the hope that I didn't notice or, better yet, just accepted it. Of course, they had all sorts of car salesman tactics and reasons why they did what they did. I understand a doc fee as almost every dealership has it but 1. $799 is excessive and 2. It just happened to be the same amount of the so-called discount they gave me? How can anyone think that isn't sneaky or a sales tactic. Of course, no dealership would ever admit it. I've purchased over 35 cars in my life and am a businessman myself. I understand BS and when I'm trying to be swindled. Before writing this review, I tried everything I could to give United BMW my business. I went from the sales rep to the sales manager and tried my best to get the sales manager, ***, to understand why I felt like I di

The dealership agreed to fix our windshield after they cracked it. But now they don't wanna pay the deductible our insurance offered, even though they promised on the phone.
I bought a car and a tire/wheel warranty from United BMW-Roswell in November
I bought a car and a tire/wheel warranty from United BMW-Roswell in November . They said I could get some money back for the warranty if I sold the car before it expired. Well, I sold the car in March and I've been trying to get the dealership to send me the cancellation paperwork. The last time they talked to me was on April 14th, and now nobody's responding to me.
I got a BMW X5 from United BMW, Roswell in September
I got a BMW X5 from United BMW, Roswell in September . Since the day I bought it, I've been seeing a message saying "Restraint System, Fault in airbag." I complained to BMW North America and took the car to the service center multiple times (more than 3 times), but the issue still hasn't been fixed. This is really concerning because my wife and 6-year-old drivers often ride in the car, and I'm worried about their safety in case of an accident. I paid around 62-63k for this car.

I bought my car on June 14/15 of this year (XXXX) and I still haven't gotten my license plate/registration
I bought my car on June 14/15 of this year (XXXX) and I still haven't gotten my license plate/registration. I've called and emailed many times, but nobody has responded to tell me what's happening or when I'll get it. In Georgia, you have 30 days from the purchase date to register, and my temporary permit has expired twice already! I have to drive to work, and every day I'm worried I'll get pulled over and have to deal with the authorities because of the car dealership and its employees' ignorance.
I purchased a certified used car with less than 40,000 miles
I purchased a certified used car with less than 40,000 miles. But guess what? After driving it for only 8000 miles, I had to replace the brake pads. Now, brake pads are supposed to last between 20-30k miles, so you can imagine my frustration. And get this, the problem should have been caught during the inspection before I bought the car. I tried talking to the sales and finance folks, but they were no help at all. So, I decided to take it to small claims court. But here's the kicker, I can't even proceed with my claim because the registered agent for United BMW messed up the mailing address with the State. I mean, seriously? It seems like they did it on purpose to avoid the legal process. Can you believe it?
I bought a bmw from United bmw almost a week ago
I bought a bmw from United bmw almost a week ago. It's a CPO. Within 3-4 days and 300 miles, I called the Sales guy, Conrad, to let him know about issues with autopilot. The car drifts to the right, which is dangerous, especially since we have a 4-year-old. I left a voicemail explaining the problem, but his response was, "I am not a service guy, book a service appointment." There seems to be a problem with the suspension because the ride is so bumpy and uncomfortable. I was so relaxed thinking I was buying a CPO, but this experience has made me question if it's just a sales trick.
I'm a disabled veteran and I bought a car from United BMW-Roswell
I'm a disabled veteran and I bought a car from United BMW-Roswell. Unfortunately, my sales associate, ***, didn't handle things properly. As a disabled veteran, I needed my vehicle to be delivered with the necessary paperwork. However, *** only picked up the check and didn't process my paperwork with the DMV. As a result, my initial tag expired and I had to go to the DMV to get an extension. It's been a long time since then, approximately 62 days, and the DMV system still doesn't have any information about my paperwork being started. Now, I can't drive my vehicle anymore because of how *** mishandled the sale. This is a huge inconvenience for me as a disabled veteran without a handicap tag. *** should have made sure the paperwork was processed after the first tag expired, but he dropped the ball not once, but twice! I've tried calling the dealership multiple times, but I keep getting put on hold and transferred back to the automated menu.
I leased a 2018 *** 330e iperformance from United BMW
I leased a 2018 *** 330e iperformance from United BMW. My monthly payment was $337.18 for 36 months. The car was supposed to be returned by the end of June 2022. United BMW called me multiple times, asking if I would be willing to turn in the car early. They said they would buy out the vehicle. After speaking with *** at the dealership, I decided to turn in the car. They assured me that I would only have to pay a $350 fee and that they would handle all other charges. However, when I went to return the car on April 9, they added an additional $600 charge for ***. On top of that, *** finance charged me an extra $849, bringing the total to $1799.53. I feel like I was deceived into thinking that they would buy the car back early and that I would only owe $350. Instead, *** finance is now billing me $1799.53. United BMW should contact *** Finance and inform them that they offered to buy the car back early and that they would cover any charges above $350.
On 6/6, they charged me for a service I didn't need
On 6/6, they charged me for a service I didn't need. I just wanted an oil change, but they said my hood wouldn't open for the service. They gave me two options: pay to open it or don't get the oil changed. So, I ended up paying $164.95 for the "open hood" charge. They also gave me an estimate of $551.97 to replace the latches and cables. Since then, I've been worried about driving because I wasn't confident that the hood would open if necessary. Finally, I had the chance to get the hood repaired on 4/14, so I took my car to a different BMW dealership. They checked for the issue and found that there was no problem with the hood opening. I was even able to open it myself after they checked. I think they charged me for something that wasn't necessary and made a mistake. I talked to the Service Manager, Patrick C., on 4/15, and he agreed that a refund should be given. However, I haven't received a refund, and he hasn't responded to my calls or voice messages since then.
On May 24th, I bought a 2014 Fiat 500L from United BMW-Roswell
On May 24th, I bought a 2014 Fiat 500L from United BMW-Roswell. I paid cash for the car and the salesman assured me that the dealer would take care of all the necessary tag and title items (since they charged me for it). However, on July 8th, I contacted the dealer because my tag was about to expire on July 9th. They told me not to worry because the tag office was running behind. From July 8th to October 25th, I called them a total of 9 times. Unfortunately, all I received were lies from this dealer. At one point, they even claimed that my tag and title had been sent to my mother's address, but that was also a lie. Frustrated, on October 20th, I decided to visit the tag office myself. To my surprise, the car had never been registered under my name and was still in the previous owner's name. Additionally, the car had failed emission testing just 4 days before I purchased it. At this point, I want a full refund for the amount I paid for the car because I can't legally drive it and it's not even legally mine. I've tried to resolve this issue with the dealer, but they seem to be dragging their feet, and I'm tired of being lied to about my hard-earned money.
I bought a 2021 *** 330e from United BMW-Roswell in November
I bought a 2021 *** 330e from United BMW-Roswell in November. I'm having a big problem with this car. The transmission slips and the gear violently engages. The electric motor's torque is so strong that it makes the vehicle jump forward violently. It was so powerful that I hurt my shoulder and tore my rotator cuff. I made a service appointment to fix this issue. I met with *** Gande, but they closed the service request without fixing the problem. The service technician, the ***, and the *** (Service Manager) said the car is safe to drive. The dealer won't honor the warranty repair, so now I have an expensive car that I don't feel safe driving. I'm really scared to drive it. I don't have a solution or a way forward with this issue. The employees at United BMW-Roswell have treated me with attitude and disrespect throughout this whole ordeal. I'm just a reasonable person looking for a fair solution. I want a replacement or a refund now. I don't trust the safety of this car.
On July 31, we bought a 2013 *** 328i from United BMW
On July 31, we bought a 2013 *** 328i from United BMW. All the necessary service has been done on the car. For the first four years, we got it serviced at the dealership. Since 2019, a trusted local repair shop has been taking care of it. They've made sure to do all the required service on time. We haven't had any major issues with the car until May 30, 2022. That's when the Service Engine light came on and we heard a knocking sound from the engine. I took it to my mechanic (EuroCar in Marietta) and they found metal shavings in the oil. They said the engine was about to fail. The mileage was *** miles. I called both *** North *** and the service manager at United BMW, and they were polite but didn't offer any help with replacing the engine. I know the engine warranty ended at *** miles, but a well-maintained engine failing after *** miles clearly shows an internal defect. The people I spoke to don't think it's the manufacturer or dealer's responsibility. I've had good experiences with ***s in the past, and I think pride in the brand and respect for a loyal customer should mean standing behind the product. I'm paying $3,500 for a used engine, and the labor to install it will cost about the same. I believe *** should cover the expenses I've had to replace the faulty engine.
Do not get service here!
Do not get service here! I recently moved to Atlanta and noticed oil on my concrete. I took my car in for an oil leak found on the upper and lower oil pan. I have taken great care of my dream car for the past 6 years. Anyway, I got my car back with a big dent in the fender and scratches all over the front bumper. To make matters worse, the very next night while driving on 75 with my kids, I experienced a complete power loss. Imagine going 80mph with big trucks all around me. I called them to come pick up the car, but for 3 days they kept telling me nothing was wrong. Suddenly, they started calling me to trade it. I asked them why they wanted me to trade it when I didn't even know what was wrong with it. They claimed I needed a new motor because the power loss and bucking were due to the motor. After going back and forth, United offered to pay for half of the new motor. So, reluctantly, we agreed to get a new motor even though the problem was likely caused by their service. We picked up my car yesterday and guess what? The problem still exists! We had the codes checked and they are saying an O2 sensor is likely the problem. So, let's recap: United has almost taken all of my money and my car still won't drive me to work! Shame on you for replacing parts without properly diagnosing the issue! Oh, and you still didn't fix the exterior issues that your service depot caused. Let's not forget that you also ruined the leather in my driver's seat. It's covered in oil and the color is now missing. You destroyed my dream car! So, people, please don't take your vehicle here. They will ruin your car too! You know how to reach me, but this time let's get the owner involved too. I want answers!
I took my 2012 128i to United BMW on 7/19/2022 'cause there was a water leak in the driver compartment and the car wouldn't start
I took my 2012 128i to United BMW on 7/19/2022 'cause there was a water leak in the driver compartment and the car wouldn't start. They changed the battery and said they'd keep troubleshooting. After a week, they couldn't find the water leak. I picked up the car on 7/28 and the car audio sounded like a blown speaker. I told the shop and they said it was probably 'cause the amp got wet. Next day, it rained heavily and the car got wet again, plus the hold down bar wasn't put on the battery. The shop said they were in a hurry and missed that. The battery was replaced a week ago, so that's unlikely. On 8/3, I left the car to find the water leak and fix the sound issue. The leak was from the rear drains of the sunroof. The sound problem was a bad subwoofer. I asked how the subwoofer could go bad and they said it's 'cause the car is old. On 8/11, they said the car would be ready by 2:00 pm. I asked about the detail and they said they'd take care of it and I could pick up the car the next day. On 8/12, I got a voicemail asking if I ever had a problem with the passenger seat going back to the original position and that the leather near the seat handle had separated 'cause it shrank. I called back and left a message saying I never had a problem with the seat or the leather. They said the car is 10 years old and prone to problems. They didn't take responsibility and said they wouldn't fix it. On 8/12, I picked up the car and checked the seat, but it didn't seem like the leather shrank. I talked to the dealership again and they said they wouldn't fix the problems. It's a shame that a *** dealership won't resolve and fix a problem they caused. The subwoofer and passenger seat were fine when I dropped it off.
