I paid $18,000 upfront for fixin' my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited in Nov. 2020. It's now Mar. 15 and I still ain't got my Jeep back. They ain't even given me a loaner. I wouldn't suggest goin' to this dealership.

I brought my truck to Schumacher Automotive Delray, LLC because there was an oil leak covered by warranty
I brought my truck to Schumacher Automotive Delray, LLC because there was an oil leak covered by warranty. They said it was the oil filter gasket, but the truck kept leaking. I took it to my mechanic who showed me the actual part that was leaking. Schumacher and Bill avoided fixing my truck under warranty, claiming it was a difficult job. I wouldn't suggest anyone buying from or visiting this dealer unless you enjoy being given the runaround. Bill never calls back or provides a clear answer. I had to pay to get my truck properly fixed because they basically refused to do it.
This place is a nightmare
This place is a nightmare. Even after giving them a second chance, my first incident was completely overlooked. It was my mistake for going back. This place was honestly terrible. Everything was just... ugh. I went there for an oil change and they did it, but when they gave my vehicle back, there was no cap for the oil. It may seem like a small mistake, but it caused huge issues. I had no car for 2 whole days because they couldn't get me a cap. They lost it and the store was closing. And to top it off, I never got refunded. Even the management said they couldn't refund me for this nightmare process. They promised to give me a complimentary Uber, but it never came. The front desk was useless. This guy named *** tried to help, but he couldn't find a resolution either. Neither could his higher up management. So, they took my money, my cap, and 3 days of my time. And this isn't the first disaster I've experienced at this place. If their customer service was kind and helpful, this wouldn't be such a big deal.
In September , I bought a used car from Schumacher Automotive Delray LLC
In September , I bought a used car from Schumacher Automotive Delray LLC. When they registered the vehicle, they sent the wrong information to the financial institution and reported it to the FL DMV. I waited for over 90 days to get my registration, and had to ask for three 30-day extensions because of their mistake. I got so frustrated that I complained to the FL HSMV about Schumacher Automotive Delray LLC. Finally, in March , the registration issue was fixed because the FL HSMV pressured the dealer. I paid off the car early in February . But now, when I try to get the title from the FL DMV, I see that there is still a lien from the financial institution that Schumacher messed up with the first time. I had to make a lot of calls to the financial institution, my own bank, and the FL DMV to get a lien release saying that the financial institution has no claim on my car. It's been a year and a half since I bought the car, and I'm still dealing with the mistakes and lack of care from Schumacher Automotive Delray. I also got a letter from the FL HSMV saying that Schumacher Automotive charged me $279 for electronic filing fees, but they never actually used the service or gave me a refund. The letter said I should contact the dealership's bond company to ask for a refund, but I didn't bother because I was so frustrated with their incompetence and bad service. The customer service at Schumacher Automotive Delray is terrible. I felt like they didn't care about their mistake and didn't want to do their job properly. When they fixed the registration issue, the person I talked to said she was new and it wasn't her fault. I understand that, but they should do better since they are in the sales and customer service business! I left the dealership feeling disgusted because the finance manager changed the financial institution at the last minute, after I had already signed everything, and acted like it was no big deal. I should have trusted my gut and canceled the whole deal. I'm happy with the car, but the time and energy I've wasted dealing with this dealership is not worth it, especially since I'm still trying to get the title for the car because of their mistake.

As part of my lease return, Schumacher Automotive Delray, LLC agreed to pay the disposition fee to Chrysler Capital
As part of my lease return, Schumacher Automotive Delray, LLC agreed to pay the disposition fee to Chrysler Capital. After four months of requests and providing the documentation to Schumacher Automotive Delray, LLC that they agreed to make this payment, I am now getting calls directly from Chrysler Capital notifying me that my account will be submitted to collection due to no payment being received.
I got a jeep in 2019 and bought maintenance contracts
I got a jeep in 2019 and bought maintenance contracts. But when I tried to use them, I found out that the dealership canceled them just one month after I got my jeep. I didn't know about it and didn't get a refund or anything! I have the contracts, but when I tried calling the finance manager at the dealership, I couldn't reach anyone. I kept getting stuck in endless loops and couldn't leave a message. So, if you're thinking of buying extended service contracts, be careful!
I went to Schumacher Automotive Delray, LLC because my vehicle had a leak on the drivers side
I went to Schumacher Automotive Delray, LLC because my vehicle had a leak on the drivers side. I told two service representatives about the leak, and they said they would take care of it. The water technician did a water test and found water on the drivers side, but they only replaced the rear seal. The service advisor, Kevin, initially told me that replacing the rear seal would fix the front leak. However, he later called me back to apologize for the mistake.
When I looked at the rear of my vehicle, I noticed that the water technician had left glue and grease all over it. It was clear that the dealership had lied to me, and their water technician was the one who damaged the rear of my vehicle. I am now seeking restitution for this damage, as well as a refund of $416 for the service. I have no intention of going back to this dealership, especially since their water technician has already damaged my vehicle once.
The service advisor who lied to me and called me multiple times is Kevin McGlynn. I am in need of assistance to get my refund and restitution for the damages caused.

Me and my ex, we had a truck together
Me and my ex, we had a truck together. He took it to the same car place a year later and traded it in without asking me. He bought a fancy new truck for $84,000 without me there or signing anything. They even faked my signature to put the truck in my name. I called Schumacher, but they didn't help me. They made me deal with Chrysler capital. I showed them all the proof, like the fake signatures and the fact that I was in my office with a client the whole time. But they said they couldn't prove I didn't go earlier in the day, even though it wasn't my signature. They told me to get a lawyer, but I can't afford one. I just want to get rid of this loan. I also reported the fraud to the FTC and the police. I'll try to go to court by myself.
This place tried to make me pay Florida sales taxes and Alabama sales tax even though I don't live in Florida
This place tried to make me pay Florida sales taxes and Alabama sales tax even though I don't live in Florida. The Florida tax people said I don't have to pay Florida sales tax 'cause I'm sending the car to Alabama. When I asked about the tax, they said it's a fee, but they're also charging me $995 in dealership fees. Then they changed their story and said it's actually a tax and I gotta pay taxes in both Florida and Alabama. Seems like they're trying to scam me by collecting "taxes" or "fees" as Florida sales taxes when I don't owe any 'cause I'm an Alabama resident getting the car in Alabama. They stopped the sale 'cause I won't pay taxes in both states and they already messed up my credit report.
My car, which is still under warranty, is only 2 years old
My car, which is still under warranty, is only 2 years old. Unfortunately, the folks at Schumacher Automotive Delray, LLC seem to be finding excuses to avoid honoring that warranty. Just last week, my car's transmission suddenly stopped shifting and the dashboard warning light came on. Concerned, I promptly took my car to the Chrysler service center.
However, it took a whole week before anyone even bothered to speak with me. I made at least 5 phone calls, desperately trying to get an update. Finally, I received a call back, but to my dismay, they informed me that they wanted to charge me for an additional 2 hours of diagnosis. Can you believe it? A whole week of waiting, and now they want to charge me more!
To make matters worse, they're claiming that the transmission issue is somehow related to the off-road lighting I had installed on my car. But here's the thing: those lights have been on my car since day one, and I've never even used them! It's absolutely ridiculous to suggest that they're the cause of the transmission problem.
Now, they're holding my car hostage, refusing to fix it unless I pay for those extra 2 hours of diagnosis. It's incredibly frustrating and unfair. I expected better service from a reputable dealership like Schumacher Automotive Delray, LLC.
In August 2022, I was lied to multiple times by different representatives at Schumacher Automotive Delray, LLC
In August 2022, I was lied to multiple times by different representatives at Schumacher Automotive Delray, LLC. The service manager, ***, and others made promises that they did not keep. I made an appointment on Friday, August 19th, with clear instructions that I needed my vehicle back as soon as possible. If I hadn't followed up 36 hours later, I would have never received any service until Monday or Tuesday. I had to spend money on Ubers and car rentals to accommodate the dealership. After 40 hours, I decided to take my vehicle back because I couldn't afford to be without a car for 5 days with my two kids and job. They said they would reorder the parts, but they never did, and they promised to follow up with me on Monday or Tuesday. It's now Thursday, and I still haven't received any follow-up as promised. I've tried calling the dealership, but they keep hanging up on me. I'm shocked by the poor service here, and it almost feels like we were discriminated against for rightfully complaining.
I own a Subaru Forester, I think it's a 2012 model
I own a Subaru Forester, I think it's a 2012 model. My dad took it to Subaru Schumacher in Delray Beach for a check-up while I was recovering from a concussion. They told us the car had a bunch of problems that they could fix (exhaust, brake pads, AC) and that it would keep running for another 5-6 years. They charged us a whopping $6,800 for the repairs (later found out other mechanics would have only charged $4,800). But just a few months later, the car started making a ticking noise. When I brought it back for another check-up, they said it was the engine and it would cost over $5000 (other mechanics said it should have been way less). It seems like they either purposely missed things in the first check-up to make us pay for unnecessary repairs on a car that wasn't worth it, or they accidentally missed something important. Either way, it wasn't done right and it's ridiculous that I had to pay so much for all of this. They even refused to give me my car keys unless I paid for a second check-up (which I thought should have been free considering how much I already spent there and what they promised). They forced me to give them my credit card and charged me an extra $285. It's the most messed up thing I've ever seen from a business, and it really changed my opinion about Subaru cars. I attached some estimates from Pats towing to show that they also overcharged, but I want to make it clear that the main issue is them doing unnecessary work and not doing proper check-ups, and then charging based on those faulty check-ups.
I wanna tell ya somethin' real important, so listen up
I wanna tell ya somethin' real important, so listen up. So, here's the deal, right? I'm an MMA fighter, and durin' my fight camp in June, my old man took my car, a 2012 Subaru Forester, to this dealership as a favor to me. They said they'd do all the necessary work to make it last another 5-6 years, ya know? But lemme tell ya, it was crazy expensive compared to other quotes I got, and it started havin' problems just a month later. I had to take it back, and they said it needed even more repairs to the engine, after they supposedly did diagnostics a month before. Can ya believe it? They even charged me for a second diagnostic fee when I brought it back. Luckily, my credit card company sorted out that second fee, so I didn't have to pay it. But honestly, it was too little, too late at that point. The car's been givin' me all sorts of trouble since then. I had to get the oil filled again, even though they claimed they did a synthetic fill that should last a long time. I'm startin' to think they never even did the oil change, and that's what messed up the engine later on. Now, my car's got major issues with the axle and steering. I don't think it's gonna last much longer, to be honest. I reckon the dealership purposely did unnecessary and expensive work, and they did a shoddy job so I'd have to keep comin' back and spendin' more money. They tried to take advantage of my old man, I tell ya. I ain't the type to usually complain like this, I ain't into that kinda stuff. But this whole situation has been downright awful. It's cost me a ton of time, energy, extra repairs, and of course, the original amount I paid 'em. I'm lookin' to get a refund, no doubt about it. This whole thing felt like a scam, like they're just tryin' to make a quick buck with that fancy Subaru sign out front.
My experience with *** has been the worst experience I've had at a dealership
My experience with *** has been the worst experience I've had at a dealership. I made an appointment with salesman Eric at 5pm on 10/14. I drove from Miami to Delray Beach to buy a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. When I arrived, I found out that the vehicle wasn't there. The GM took it home as a demo car. I wanted to see the vehicle since I drove over an hour and made an APPOINTMENT for that specific one. The Sales Manager refused to turn around and bring the car back. Instead, he told the sales associate to prepare another Jeep, fill it up with gas, and drive to the GM's home to swap cars. The GM lives 20 minutes away, so they could have met halfway and saved time. Instead, I had to wait over an hour for this exchange. The pre-owned manager, Eli Garcia, didn't apologize for the inconvenience. The next day, as I drove on the highway to work, the Jeep had a terrible vibration and the steering shook badly. I took the car to a mechanic, thinking it was an alignment issue. I didn't want to go back to the dealership, so I preferred dealing with another mechanic. However, I couldn't get an alignment because the back tires were badly warped and needed to be replaced. I went back to the dealership and informed Eli about the warped tires. I mentioned that this should have been caught during the certified pre-owned inspection and replaced. (I still haven't received the inspection report). Eli had Frank Santilli, the service advisor, check the tires and confirm that they were visibly warped. He said he would order new tires for me and that I would be called when they arrive. Over a week later, on 10/27, I still haven't heard back, so I called Frank to check the status of the tire delivery. Now I find out that the tires were never ordered and they need me to come in to schedule a road force balance. This was already established. They should do the right thing and replace the warped tires. It's a safety hazard!
Mechanical Escape Caused by poor recordkeeping on cannibalized 2015 Chrysler 300C inventoried on XXXXXXXX
Mechanical Escape Caused by poor recordkeeping on cannibalized 2015 Chrysler 300C inventoried on XXXXXXXX. XXXXXX Delivery Inspection skipped. We bought the car from *** Delray Auto Group on May 26, after it had been at the dealership for a while. Parts were taken off the car but not recorded during the ownership change. The Delivery Inspection was assumed to be valid without noting the removed parts, so the dealership waived the inspection with customer notification. We later found out that the missing items included a splash panel and two bolts that held the Front Body and Bumper Assembly to the chassis. This caused the front body to separate when we were on our inclined driveway at 8947 Escondido Way East, Boca Raton, Florida XXXXX. We had to tow the car back to the dealership for repairs. Allstate Insurance made a mistake by categorizing the damage as a collision instead of an undetected mechanical issue. The dealership confirmed that there was no Vehicle History prior to our purchase. They reimbursed me for the repair expenses, but never formally admitted to their poor recordkeeping during the transition period. The GM and Service Manager, who were the only ones with direct knowledge, have since left the dealership. The body repairs were done by a subcontractor called One Perfect Touch Paint and Body Repair, who didn't have access to the Maintenance and VIN databases to log their work. This resulted in a potentially dangerous driving hazard that could have caused property damage or even fatalities if the front body had separated at high speeds. The dealership hasn't taken any action to acknowledge the missed problem during the delivery inspection, which would have helped me resolve an issue with Allstate Insurance. Mr. General Counsel was supposed to find the missing documentation but failed to do so. When I suggested further steps to collect information, he said that *** Auto Group wouldn't do anything else to validate my claims. This decision makes it difficult for me to resolve the Allstate Insurance error without any support from the dealership. I have copies of the payments made by the dealership to me and to One Perfect Touch Paint and Body Repair for their services. I will provide additional documentation confirming the repair costs as I continue my investigation. This review is attested to as factual and complete by ***. Gallagher Jr.
Basically my Jeep has been there for a new transmission since November
Basically my Jeep has been there for a new transmission since November . Twice I was told it was fixed and twice it wasn't. Cost me over $4600. Here are copies of the emails I sent them that pretty much sums up what's been going on: I am updating you on my original email which I have posted below for reference. It is now going into March and 4 months since my Jeep was brought in for a new transmission. So Thursday 2/27 in the afternoon I went to pick up my Jeep for the second time. As it was brought out the man that drove it asked me what I had done and when I asked him why he said it wasn't shifting right. Anyhow, Viovanni looked at it and said it just needed some fluid. Ok now it's parked and when I go to start it the battery is dead, not surprising since it's been sitting there for months. Viovanni took it back and replaced the battery. So I took it home. The shifting isn't smooth but I figured I'd give it a few days. Well it's now Saturday morning, I head out to work and the check engine light comes on. So now I'm obviously going to be bringing it back in. Hopefully, I make it home. I can bring it back in Tuesday. I expect that there will be a loner vehicle for me to use. After paying over $4600 and it going on four months now for a transmission that works I am getting a little frustrated with this. Is there someone over there I can contact? Thank You, *** XXX-XXX-XXXX I'm not sure if you remember this email or a version of it since I've updated it as the months have passed. I have been in contact with the service manager and my Jeep is still sitting. Who can help the service department get the parts and employees they need to get their jobs done in a reasonable time? What is my next step? Is there a manager, CEO, President someone that has some pull over there? Do I need a lawyer or to contact the media? I don't know what to do anymore. I'm worried about my Jeep and it's condition due to the time it's been there. Well, we're do I begin. My 04 Jeep TJ as towed into the service dept. 11/04. I had an appointment and it was confirmed via email. Two days after my Jeep was towed there no one could find it. I was even told it was lost. The keys had my name on them and my appointment was in the system yet my Jeep was gone. A day later I was told it was located, who knows what happened. As the weeks went by I was told how busy the shop was and so on. Several weeks later I was told my Jeep needed a new transmission and it would cost $4500. Ok, I was fine with that. I love that Jeep and it's still cheaper than buying another vehicle. More weeks go by and several more phone calls. During this time I was told the service dept. was having a hard time getting a transmission from Chrysler and they were holding one hostage. As someone that worked on that Jeep a bit I know you can go online and purchase one fairly easily. A week before the holidays I was told they're getting the transmission delivered soon. Jan. 2, 2020 I got a call telling me my Jeep was ready and running great. I took time off work to pick it up. I paid over $4600 for the repairs to my Jeep. I wasn't even a few miles down the road when the check engine light came on and the RPMs would keep going up though the Jeep wasn't going into gear. The Jeep wouldn't go faster than 40. I drove it right back and haven't seen or heard much of anything since. I am grateful I was given a loaner vehicle to use since Uber and rental cars were getting very expensive though I really want to know what is going on with my Jeep. It's been 3 months now. This is a little crazy. I'm concerned about my Jeep sitting in a sunny lot deteriorating and not running. Do I need to get a lawyer and/or contact the media? I'm not that person or a complainer though I find it hard to believe that a Jeep dealership has such a hard time getting parts for a Jeep that is still very common on the roads. It's been three months. Is there anyone I can contact that may be able to expedite this a bit? I would just love to be on the road in my Jeep.
