On 26 Oct. 2024, at 1:40 pm, I submitted a meal ticket for 12 Hot Wings. I handed to the ticket to the woman & asked "how is your day going?". She did say anything. I stood there, patently waiting on the wings. After a few minutes, hospital staff came in, submitted a ticket. Every one of them were getting burgers, which had to be cooked. The wings basket was full. They received their food as I still stood there. I finally went to her & asked if "I had missed something. People are coming & going w/ their food & I'm still standing here". She states," you should have said something". I stated, "you have my ticket & people are getting served a burger & you haven't even gotten my wings". She looked at me as though I was crazy & trying to start something. She refers to the cook, who turns around & says "you want wings, I'll get your wings". with a demeaning attitude. I stated I don't want your wings & I waked out. I did not raise my voice, but they continued on. The whole incident was the worse racial incident I have encountered. I am a Veteran, & I hope they don't this to another Veteran, or anyone else for that matter. I will continue to monitor this till that woman is fired. She should not be working & serving people. I was at the hospital because my son was shot in the head & he now had the machine taken off. I was talked into going to the cafeteria, because I did not want to leave his side.
Desired outcome: Please remove this woman, who worked in the cafeteria at 1:40pm on 26 Oct 2024, from the job.Thank you for your time.
