Driver Updater
On 04Sep23 I ordered online "Driver Updater + Advanced Pro Module - 1 year" package, with additional "Driver Updater on up to 5 PCs - 1 Year" and "Lifetime License" packages from "PC HelpSoft".
I attempted to update the drivers that the package recommended for my paricular PC (as the system advised me!). Some of the drivers required a restart. However, when my PC attempted a restart, it could not do so.
I'm now presented with a blue screen that tells me that "Start-up Repair couldn't repair your PC".
I tried to use System Restore, but although during the updates System Restore points were said to be recorded, when selecting System Restore from a blue page, I'm told there are no restore points.
I contacted support through Chat, to be told that they could not help me, and gave me an email address ([protected]@support.upclick.com) to try for help.
Desired outcome: Resolution of my computer problem, or refund all money paid.
Driver updater
All I wanted was the driver updater for one year and it added the driver updater for 5 computers for one year . It also said it was giving me a 30 percent discount and it didn't even do that . I was expecting to pay $25 and was charged $45 . The pchs support was quite unhelpful. I would like the $20 refunded if not I will just take a full refund. This was on 4-21-23 . Unable to get a refund from upclick for inpixio software.
A year ago, I bought Inpixio for what I assumed was a one year subscription (order number UQK5PM2T). I tried it for a week, was disappointed, and uninstalled it from my computer. Last week (February 8th) I was billed for a further one year subscription, which I don't think I asked for. I immediately contacted their SUPPORT team and asked for a refund (they guarantee a refund within 30 days). I received an immediate automatic response saying that my request has been received and that they would process it within 2 to 3 days. After 3 days of no reply, I contacted them again and was told that they are very busy and they will 'eventually' process my refund request. Today I tried to chat with their SUPPORT team. The English chat option was offline - only Japanese available. I would like to complain about this dubious company in the hope that I may get them to refund my money. Thank you.

On September 6th 2018 and amount of $108.89 was placed on my American Express statement. I moved last year and was in hospital with pneumonia on 2 occasions. I am only now going through accounts.
This was never authorised. I would have only just been out hospital and had to move out of my home which was sold during my stay in hospital.

I just wanted to try it before buying it said download, then to activate it I had to pay for it, I had not noticed it was a subscription, pay yearly, so I asked for a refund, they then said they would give me 2 years I agreed but said I was going to try it first then I may still ask for a refund. When I downloaded it and activated it it would not work there was an error. Then they wanted to access my computer and I refused. After giving me the run around I filed with PayPal and lost . Since they did give me the download (that did not word). So I will see what my credit card will do.

They advertise the software Inpixio, as being able to remove unwanted aspects of any picture. The claim states "select the item you want removed, and the rest of the picture will remain intact". This is not true. I've tried to get a refund but they're giving me the run around. I have filed a complain with the United States Federal Trade Commission.
windows 8 pc repair
I purchased software with technical support online from upclick paid in paypal to repair my windows 8 program after a virus atack. After running the software for one hour the program jammed so I phoned for technical support and was told I would now need a techician to take over as the software was not working. I was told a Technicain was on hand on a sunday evening at extra cost all this and hanging on the phone for 30minutes not being able to hear the person on the other end of the line clearly I thought this was a scam and asked for a refund. On the 7th September 2016 I ordered the software "Architect 3D Jardin et Exterieur 2016" ( Order number: U94ERRPC)for the price of €51.98 and I had problems activating it. I called the number on their site to get some help and was told that I had a virus in my computer and they could help me to repair it for the price of €4.49. I was surprised at this price and I asked the person concerned ( whose French was not up to scratch) to repeat it again and he quoted "four, forty nine"which for me meant €4.49. I told him to go ahead. Imagine my astonishment the next day when I saw that my account had been debited for "four hundred and forty nine euros" for a years service which I had not asked for.
I called Upclick immediately and after several delays eventually got through to the Financial dept. which after a lengthy conversation with a person who had difficulty in understanding my French was told that I would only have the response to my demand for my money back in 4/5 days. An easy way of fobbing me off!
I believe that by saying that my PC had problems and that they could repair it, plus by badly quoting the price, it is an easy way of making money through false pretences. I am extremely angry and upset about this because this some of money is enormous for me as I am retired.
unscrupulous business practice
Was trying to install a program, couldn't, so I had to call. Talk to sr tech, and he did remote, was telling me that I had trojans, and in so many words saying that he could fix the problems. I was listening as he was going on, and he finally came around to the price. I remember talking to the same man a few months ago. The conversation got heated, and he hung up. I thought the price was high then. I am a disabled, retired senior citizen, on a fixed income, so I asked if he would take monthly payments.He said for me to call the number on the back of my credit card, and they would do the payments.I let them go ahead with the repair. After 15 minutes, I called the credit union, explained the problem, . They never heard of such a thing. The one who provides the service makes the arrangements. The programs the tech installed didn't do any good, and was never told what he had done. I have sent them 2 emails, no answer. They have sent me documents to sign but I haven't done so. The charge for this was $339.00.

Solidtechies.com cold called me and fraudulently sold me computer support. They promised to make my machine 'run like new' and I could contact them with any problem via their 'freephone number'. The company accessed my computer and made it worse instead of better - I spent a fortune in phone calls trying to get resolved issues they had caused. When I complained and ask for an itemisation of the work they completed they sent me a false list of made up problems. Upclick ltd. demonstrates poor business practice along with the shadowy companies it operates under including CS SUpport Network and 6785719 Canada Inc.

I have been scammed by Solidtechies.com. In January 2015 I purchased the $99 one year support package and was told by salesman David that they would waive the monthly fee due to the repeated problems I incurred with them over a two month period on my prior 6 month package. I called for support March 13 2015 and received a resolution to my problem. I did not get charged or pay any monthly fee in February or March 2015. I called them with a problem today 5-22-15 and was refused service because I had not paid the $19 monthly fee. I explained that the fee was waived but they will not help me unless I purchase another package. Stay away form these crooks.

In February 2010 a deduction of £55.63 was taken from my credit card. My bank's enquiries have not been responded to and I have no recall of transactions with a firm of this name. It seems they can keep quiet and keep my cash - my complaint is I don't know who they are or what they took the money for, nor how to get it back.
