If I could give them zero stars I would. I was duped into getting service with this horrible company, and did not realize that a contract came along with it. When I called and told them that I was not aware of any contract, they told me that I could get out for $150. The agent was not trying to hear it at all. I've never seen a company that was so money hungry. When I threatened to tell the world about my experience on social media, they then agreed to "let me out the contract." After sending an email stating that I no longer wanted their business, I noticed a charge of $50 on my credit card. I am warning you all out there, do not do business with this horrible Co. Even after providing service, I still see ants and bugs in my yard. In fact, these lil flying bugs are now everywhere and we cant get rid of them. I so regret meeting these money hungry people!
RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE, WHO WILL NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER! I will never hire these dim-witted *** to do anything! Urbanex deserves zero stars!
I signed up for this service & was told that I could cancel before my first service. I bought a house that's not in their service area. I spoke with a representative 2 times & emailed them about canceling my subscription. They still sent a bill. Of course, I'm not paying for a service that I did not receive nor that I no longer want. So they sent the account to collections instead of just canceling my service as I requested. I wouldn't recommend this pest business for the simple fact of they're not true to their word. The salesman that approached my door gave me the impression that I could cancel this service at anytime & here I am 2 months into trying to cancel it & dispute it with a letter from a collection agency.

Yesterday the company had people going door to door in my neighborhood to drum up business. I have a No Soliciting Sign on my door. The young man knocked anyway. I was not pleased. He left. Then about 30 minutes later he returned with another young man. I went outside before he could knock. The original guy stayed at the end of my driveway while the new guy walked up my sidewalk. I told them to leave my property multiple times. I finally had to threaten to call the police multiple times before they got in their car and left. Then they decided it was a good idea to drive by again. Just because of this incident I recommend thinking twice about using this
Around the 6-7th, I had an Urbanex salesman worker knock on my door. This young man has rung about twice before I got to the door, he greeted me by introducing himself and what his company was about. His name was Jared and he was very outgoing at first. He explained their services to me very clear. He pointed out wasp nests on my porch ceiling, and how his company could take care of that. I expressed to him I needed to talk to my wife and daughter as they handle expenses, he then got very rude not taking no for an answer. Then asked "Why do you need the old lady's permission?". That type of response led me to escort him out the door proceeding to say he'd be back in the neighborhood. Very pushy and poor demeanor.
On Friday the company had people going door to door in my neighborhood to drum up business. I have a No Soliciting Sign on my mailbox and I'm registered as a property that does not want door to door solicitation. I kindly asked the young man to acknowledge the sign on my mailbox and he asked "what does No Solicitation mean"? I Proceeded to tell him that it meant that I did not want people knocking on my door trying to sell me something. He then proceeded to ask me if I wanted him to go to my neighbor next-door and tell her that I did not want to take advantage of the offer that he offered her. Ridiculous! I told him I'm telling you that, I called the office of Urbanex to try to explain the above situation and scenario in our community and I was told that they had permits to come into our neighborhood and the young lady on the phone tried her best to make me believe that their permits overrule the homeowners registration on the no soliciting site and the no soliciting signs in neighborhoods. This company has no respect for privacy nor do they follow local guidelines.

Urbanex is sending sales people into neighborhoods with clearly posted "no soliciting" signs. I've twice had to tell the pushy sales people to get off my property. If you can't follow the law, you can't do business with me. Unethical sales practices.
Fast, diligent, friendly. I love the fact they come like an army into a neighborhood. Why wouldn't I want my neighbors to get treatment at the same time I am. That just makes sense. If I get mosquito treatment and my neighbors get it on both sides of me than we are doing great. The fact that their technicians are driving around doing treatments as the sales reps knock door to door means immediate service. I loved the service that I got immediately and the techs are super friendly and courteous. Kudos to their game plan for business.
-1 Star. Description: The contract clearly promises reapplications if unsatisfied. They are flat out refusing to come back out, not fulfilling the contract. This company has a very aggressive sales program. After four visits from the sale young woman, she was excited to sign me up. She even gave us her personal cell phone if at any time we had an issue, we are to call her. She guaranteed the product and had statistics and descriptions of the product they provide in their pest control system in the finest of details. From Rosemary in the spray and prayed upon how clean the chemicals, playing along all the feel good points in her sales pitch. Unfortunately the product is not as good as her wonderful sales pitch. After a year I still have SPIDERS (our number one complaint) in our crawl space. I've paid for the whole package for a year, I call to get a reschedule - because of the spiders and we have one visit left and the lady says NO! Hangs up on me too. The customer service, self proclaimed "manager"wanted to argue and had no intentions on helping a customer FLAT OUT REFUSED ANY ASSISTANCE FOR MY SPIDER ISSUE. WOLF SPIDERS, NOT BROWN RECLUSE AND THIS IS A NEW HOME, NOT A 50 YEAR OLD MOLD MAGNET. Her rude no helpful repetitive evil demeanor and talking down to me was all I could take. I have never ever in my life been spoken down to like she did while speaking with a business! Rude, not helpful, outright not living up to the promise - NO ONE should fall for this hard selling - aggressive selling - company knowing they dont stand up to the "contract, the promise" I should have know better than to believe someone at their word in these days!

One of your sales reps (Marcus R***) stopped by my house twice today
One of your sales reps (Marcus R) stopped by my house twice today. The first time, he asked if I was the "queen of the house" and I politely declined his services. There is no soliciting allowed in our neighborhood and that is posted at the entrance. Several hours later, the same rep saw a car pull into my garage and rang my doorbell again. I answered, and reminded him that he had already been there that morning and he said, "Well, I saw a car pull in and thought maybe the king of the house was home and wanted to talk." I was caught off guard by this misogynistic comment and told him that there was not a king here and that soliciting is not allowed in this neighborhood. He told me that he had all of the permits that he needed and that he could go wherever he wanted to go. He then went on to try to tell me about how good the services were. I told him that I had already told him no and I shut the door while he was still talking. I have this conversation on video. Several neighbors started to report that he was walking up to their homes (for the second time) after seeing a car pull in. This is the most ridiculous sales approach that I've ever encountered and absolutely unacceptable! The police were called and his information was turned over to them.

Pest Yard Service
One of worst home services I ever had. I should have known not to allow them on the property by the looks of their reps. They double charged my first payment, and would not return call. Then charged me the whole service price after I wanted to cancel. The contract was voided after double charge and no response to rectify there mistake. I went from $100 to $300 and constant harassment with the calling and text, when they didn't answer my call or email.
Desired outcome: I want the bill canceled

4/17, 5:30pm and 6:30pm they came out to our neighborhood and went door to door 3 times to be exact. First time they came banging on my door waking everyone up then left. They came back an hour later holding down my door bell and I told them to leave my property, I did NOT want their service, I already use someone, WERE NOT wearing a mask, and stop coming to my house. Absolutely over this company. Do not want them coming back and if they do I will be going higher in authority.

Refund
I contacted Urbanex pest control for prepayment of contacted post control services for a lump sum amount of $387 on/around June . The company erroneously billed me for these services three times in the amount of $129. Only two refunds have been received. Contact for the refund of the third erroneous charge had been made about 6 times since October. The staff and management have acknowledged a refund is due but have not processed a refund to the payment or mailed a check as previously discussed. I would like the refund to be made as previously discussed. Files attached for reference.
Compay Urbanex alledged that I did not pay last bill of $119.00
Compay Urbanex alledged that I did not pay last bill of $119.00. I did pay. Sent check on 3/5, ck. # 8026 in said amount of $119. Urbanex states they never received my check. they keep emailing me and texting me. They want to automatically take out of my bank account. I do not do business this way.. I pay by check and always pay my bills on time. I am a retired employee from the State of TN, Department of Labor, forty years of service. I have tried emailing Urbanex back, calling, & texting with above information of date, check # & amount of check. They just want to be paid twice for a one time service. Thank you for looking into this matter for me.

Salesman came to my door and was very aggressive when I told him that I DID NOT want to sign a year contract
Salesman came to my door and was very aggressive when I told him that I DID NOT want to sign a year contract. He said no problem I can waive the year contract and you will just pay for 2 months of service. The first month was $100 and they preformed the service that day in April . The second month was $49. In June they tried to take $49 out if my bank account and I called and explained that I only agreed for 2 months service, and they told me that it would be$150 to cancel the contract! The contact that I NEVER agreed to, and to top it off there were still ants on my front porch! I keep telling them that I don't owe this money but I guess the salesman forged my name to get commission on the sale. It was so dishonest and munipulative, and now I have a bill of $223 for service that I didn't receive or even ask for!

I contacted Urbanex by phone this morning regarding one of their technicians knocking at my door around 9 PM last night to spray. I was out of town and just my wife and daughter were there and they were not about to open the door to a stranger. When I contacted the business today I spoke to a Mr. A and told him I was canceling my service due to this incident. Mr. A advise me there was a cancellation fee of $250 and he would reduce it to $125. I told him to send me the bill so I could take it to my attorney. Instead of sending me a bill, they posted the payment without my authority, in fact I told him that I had no intention of paying it but to send the bill so I could have it to send to my attorney. I tried to contact Mr. A Five or six times and he would not answer the phone. In reviewing ComplaintsBoard.com reviews I see they have a long list of complaints. I would like this situation addressed ASAP

I paid almost 900 for a termite protection system when it was time to renew, they wanted to charge me another 250 for renewal
I paid almost 900 for a termite protection system when it was time to renew, they wanted to charge me another 250 for renewal. I canceled the service and they still show up to my property open my yard door without my approval. When I called and told them I canceled the renewal and they still send a technician to perform the renewal they told they will remove the whole system if I don't do it. I already paid a whole year for the system. When they installed the service I already had a system in my yard and they replace it. Now I don't have my old system and the new one that I completely paid for a whole year just because I didn't want to make the renewal. This company is garbage and lie to their customers just to make them sign a contract with them. They never explained their contract if I would have known that I would never do business with them. I want my old termite system installed just how I had it prior I hired the company for the termite services.

August 20th a salesman named Michael came to my door offering pesticide and mosquito spray
August 20th a salesman named Michael came to my door offering pesticide and mosquito spray. Very convincingly he told us that his product will last from 35 to 45 days guarantee. He also offered a deal of $100 for our first spray and the mosquito spray would be free. They sprayed for flies, spiders, wasp, yellow jackets and mosquitos. About two days later we were eaten up by mosquitos, and a couple weeks later we noticed spiders again because of the spider webs, I had to spray my own hornet and wasp spray because I found a wasp nest and had to knock it down. After all that we were not satisfied with the service, so we were going to decline the next service since the issue was not handled. In the end we were charged a $250 cancellation fee, because we were under a contract. I never received a contract for my own records, which I still don't have in my possession. Michael never mentioned anything about a contract otherwise we would have declined the offer.

On August 3rd Nathan came to my house and offered me the pest control service, I have text messages from him stating all that will be done. He said it is a year contract and he mentioned a 100% money back guarantee. They came and treated when no one was home they never treated garage or inside and I still had ants and webs. They went missing after the 4th when I told them the job was never completed and replied on the 20th after a second message from me. They are charging me for 2 treatments that they never completed and have sent me a letter stating my account has been sent to a third party for resolution. I tried to resolve with with them and Andrea rudely told me the charges are valid and theres nothing she can for me. They are very dishonest, unprofessional and not to mention they do bad work. I never saw a decrease in ants, flies mosquitoes or anything they guaranteed would be gone. I have pictures and videos to prove it along with messages from Nathan.

On 5/18 Helena, from Urbanex knocked on my door at 8:30pm to pitch their pest treatment
On 5/18 Helena, from Urbanex knocked on my door at 8:30pm to pitch their pest treatment. I was told it was all natural and plant based which was safe for kids, pets, wouldn't hurt the bees, lighting bugs, lizards, etc. and was told I had 30 days to cancel the service if not 100% satis. She said they had a tech available that night which was strange they were working at dark. She also gave me a $200 military discount even though I'm not military. The tech called and said he had already left the area. Helena scheduled Rhonda to come at 6:30 pm the following day. Rhonda didn't show up until 8pm w/out calling and then complained about servicing in the dark. About 2 weeks later I noticed tons of dead insects on our porch, lighting bugs, moths, bees, etc. I called and left 2 messages to cancel with no response. I emailed my cancelation on 6/10 (well within 30 days). Finally Andrea called and said I had to cancel within 3 days, not 30. I explained that isn't what I was sold and adreed to.

I had a salesman from urbanex knock on my door and ask me to try their services after some time I agreed to have the perform treatments for my home for pest and for mosquito each time they came out it seemed to help for a day or so then the same issues showed back up I was told that if anytime between treatments all I had to do was text and they would come out and retreat and when I would call back it would take several days and most of the time instead of retreating they would just move my services up and charge me again after several attempts at getting the service to work I sent a text to the salesman and his reply was oh sorry to hear that with no more response I called in to the main office hoping that with all the text back and forth to the salesman they would just cancel my service without any more charges but I was informed that I would be paying a 250 cancelation fee and that I should have tried more treatments and how would I like to pay the fee I would like some help please

I had an issue after the first treatment
I had an issue after the first treatment. Prior to treatment, I did not have ants. After treatment there were ants in my kitchen and the mosquito treatment did not work. I called to advise them and they offered a re treat at no charge. Second treatment, no change so I called to cancel the service. They asked me for one more try. They were going to re treat, at no expense, again. Still no change, ants in kitchen, mosquitos were terrible. I called to cancel again and asked for a total refund as I received no service. I also told them that I believe that I was overcharged. Between *** 26, 2021 and July 22, I was charged $549! They made no attempt to correct the overcharge and are now billing me $250 for the cancellation. I wrote them a letter explaining these facts and told them that I have paid enough for terrible service and will not pay the additional $250. They call me several times a day. I paid them $549 to give me ants and now they want more money! Terrible service, extremely expensive for nothing. I am requesting a full refund again. The service promised was not delivered.

Urbanex came to my house with my next door neighbor asking me if I wanted to use them as a pest control service for $99 every other month
Urbanex came to my house with my next door neighbor asking me if I wanted to use them as a pest control service for $99 every other month. I said no I am going with my builders pest control company because they were $60 every other month. He then said they can beat the competitor with $50 every other month I said that a deal. He ask me to make a payment and $50 would be took out the bank automatically every other month for services. The card I was looking over my automatic bill payments and realized that the company started charging $139.00 right after. I called to speak with management to get it resolved. The manager said that she would send over the contact I signed. I told her I never signed a contract or read over anything it was all word of mouth from the salesman. I asked her was his job commission based she said yes. I looked at the contract that she sent me through email I told her it look like he forged signature, and my address is wrong as well. I said that explains why I have never seen this pest control company treat my house. I asked to be refund for the services due me being swindled by salesman. She asked me to send over 2 forms of identification. I wasn't comfortable with send 2 so I sent 1. She said if the signature on my is doesn't match the one on the contract she was going to give me a refund for services. I told her nothing match, not my address, not my signature, not the price I agreed to. She then stated she will have to forward this information to her manager. I thought I was talking to a manager at the time but she wasn't even a manager. I gave up and decided to fight this on my own. This place is very unprofessional, and there stealing peoples money. Look at my ID the address is wrong

We singed up for a 12 month agreement. They say they came out for mosquito treatments but my camera never picked them up. They never got rid of gnats we had in the house. We would call and speak to a lady, she said I'll have Jordan call you and she never would return calls. Tried to cancel service and she finally called. Told her that her company is no good. We have to pay 250.00 to get out of a contract with a crappy company. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!
