UrbanPlanet Disappointing Experience with UrbanPlanet.com: Wrong Sizes Delivered

We recently made a purchase from UrbanPlanet.com and were pleasantly surprised by the speedy delivery. We placed our order on a Sunday and received it the very next day! We were thrilled with how quickly our items arrived. However, our excitement quickly turned to disappointment when we opened our package. Unfortunately, we received the wrong sizes for two of our items.

I ordered a romper and the pin tag indicated that it was a medium, which is my usual size. However, when I tried it on, it was clear that it was actually a large. The same issue occurred with my sister's shorts. The pin tag indicated that they were a size 5, but the actual shorts were a size 7. We were disappointed because the website showed that our sizes were available, so we didn't expect to have any issues with our order. This mistake is not only disappointing, but it is also unprofessional.

This is the first time that I have ever experienced an issue like this when ordering from a website. It is unacceptable for the pin tag to indicate one size, but for the actual clothing to be a different size. Urban Planet, you need to do better. We are extremely disappointed with our experience and would not recommend this online site. We suggest that you wait until the pandemic is over and visit a physical store instead.

UrbanPlanet Disappointing Experience with Urban Planet: Missing Item and Poor Customer Service

I recently made a purchase on UrbanPlanet.com and was disappointed with my experience. I ordered a pair of shoes and an overall dress, expecting them to arrive in one shipment. However, I only received the dress and never received my shoes, which I paid $39.99 for. According to the website, everything was delivered, but I knew that wasn't the case.

I reached out to customer support by submitting a ticket, but it's been over 24 hours and I still haven't received a response. They promised to reply within 24 hours, but that hasn't happened. When I tried calling, I was put on hold and told that all representatives were busy assisting other customers. I called at 8:30 am when they first opened, but still couldn't get through to anyone. It's frustrating that they don't make it easier to get in touch with them, especially for a big company like Urban Planet.

I'm disappointed that they haven't gotten back to me yet, especially since I paid a decent amount of money for my order. It's not like I ordered from some small boutique on Instagram. I expected better service from a company like Urban Planet. I'm so angry that I'm only giving them two stars, and that's only because I did receive my dress. I hope they can improve their customer service in the future.

UrbanPlanet WARNING: Terrible Customer Service & No Delivery - Urban Planet Review

This store is just HORRIBLE! I mean, if I could, I would send the police officers to close it down forever. That's how bad it is. ALERT! Don't buy anything from this store. I wish I had read all the bad reviews before I spent my hard-earned money here. I'm still waiting for my stuff to arrive, and I have no idea when it's going to get here. And the worst part? There's no way to contact them. You can only reach them through email, and they don't even bother replying back to you. Can you believe that? I'm so disappointed with their bad customer service and how they don't seem to care at all to fix it. It's like they don't care about humans or something. Please, people, stop supporting companies like this. And if you still want to buy from them after reading this comment, be smart and do it the right way. Don't buy online. Trust me, it's not worth it. This was the worst experience I've ever had with Urban Planet. I can't believe it. I used to like them, but I've learned my lesson. I will never give my money to Urban Planet stores again. From the outside, they look like a very serious company store that you can trust, but they're all fake, even their clothes. So, wherever you are, be careful. Peace and love for you guys! I hope you get to read this before you buy something.

UrbanPlanet Unprofessional and Rude Customer Service Experience at UrbanPlanet.com

I recently made a purchase from UrbanPlanet.com during the Christmas season on December 30th. Unfortunately, I was not aware of their refund policy until I visited their store in Capitano Mall, North Vancouver. To my surprise, I found out that there is no direct refund policy. The store manager referred me to their customer service, which turned out to be a nightmare.

I spoke with a customer service representative named Mario, who was quite rude and talked over me several times. I tried to explain my situation, but he kept going on and on about their policy. When I asked to speak with someone else, he refused and claimed to be the manager. He even went as far as to say that I was wasting his time and hung up on me.

I am not upset about not being able to get a refund, but I am appalled by the way I was treated. It is unacceptable for a manager to be so rude and unprofessional. It's no wonder why UrbanPlanet stores are closing and why they have negative reviews all over Google.

Hanging up on a customer is a big no-no, and I will make sure to share my experience with everyone I know and post this review everywhere I can. People need to know what they are dealing with when making a purchase from UrbanPlanet.com.

UrbanPlanet Urban Planet Review: Affordable Prices, Wide Selection, but Poor Customer Service

Urban Planet is a company that I have had a lot of trouble with when it comes to making purchases both online and in-store. I have lost count of the number of times that I have had issues with them, but despite this, I still continue to shop with them because they offer affordable prices and a wide selection of products.

Just recently, I placed an order online for $300. However, it took them a whopping two weeks just to process my order and send me a confirmation email. I was already frustrated with the long wait time, but things only got worse from there. After the confirmation email, I had to wait another two weeks just to receive a shipping email. It has now been over a month since I placed my order, and I still haven't received my items. I have been continuously contacting customer service, but they have been of little help.

One day, I arrived home from work and saw a package from Urban Planet waiting for me. I was excited to finally receive my order, but when I opened the package, I realized that it was actually my sister's order. We live at the same address, and she had only placed her order the night before. I was shocked and frustrated that her order had arrived before mine, even though I had placed my order a month before hers.

At this point, my patience with Urban Planet's customer service team had completely run out. I was beyond frustrated with the long wait times and lack of communication. It's a shame because I really do like their products, but the poor customer service has made it difficult for me to continue shopping with them.

Overall, I would say that Urban Planet has some great products at affordable prices, but their customer service needs a lot of improvement. If you're willing to deal with long wait times and potential mix-ups with your orders, then go ahead and shop with them. But if you're looking for a hassle-free shopping experience, then I would recommend looking elsewhere.

UrbanPlanet Disappointing Experience with Urban Planet: Poor Shipping and Customer Service

I ordered some items from UrbanPlanet on November 26, 2021, hoping to get them in time for Christmas. After a few days, I received a tracking number from Canada Post, but unfortunately, the package didn't move for three weeks. I was worried, so I contacted Canada Post, and they told me they couldn't find the package. They suggested I reach out to Urban Planet for help.

I tried emailing Urban Planet, but their inbox was full, so I couldn't get through. I was getting frustrated, so I decided to start a dispute with PayPal. Eventually, someone from Urban Planet contacted me and told me I couldn't get a refund. They said I would have to wait for the package, but they didn't have any updates on the shipping.

By early January 2022, I still hadn't received my package, so I decided to escalate the issue with PayPal and request a refund. The day after I did that, the tracking information for my package suddenly updated, and it said it was on its way. A few days later, the package finally arrived.

Fortunately, I had ordered during the holiday season, so I had an extended return policy. I was able to return the items to a store and get a full refund. If I hadn't ordered during the holidays, I would have been stuck with the items because Urban Planet's regular return policy only allows returns within 30 days of the order date.

Overall, I was really disappointed with Urban Planet's shipping and customer service. It seems like a lot of people have had similar issues, which is really concerning. I would definitely recommend staying away from Urban Planet and not supporting this business by making purchases from them. If I could rate them a 0, I would.

UrbanPlanet Unfair Return Policy at UrbanPlanet: No Refunds for In-Store Purchases During COVID

I've been shopping at UrbanPlanet for over 10 years now, and I always go out of my way to visit their store in a different city in British Columbia, Canada since they don't have a location in my city. I've spent thousands of dollars at their store, but I'm feeling really frustrated and dissatisfied at the moment. Yesterday, I bought six different outfits and a t-shirt, spending a total of $99.61. However, the store policy doesn't allow customers to try on clothes in-store due to COVID protocols.

Today, I went to return two items that didn't fit me properly. I'm 41 years old and curvy, so it's not always easy to find clothes that fit me perfectly. However, I was told that I couldn't get a refund on my credit card for those two items, even though I had the receipt and the tags were still on. Instead, I was offered an exchange or a gift card for the amount I spent on those two items. I was really upset about this because UrbanPlanet's online store allows customers to return items and get a refund on their credit card.

I feel like this is a scam to make customers spend their money in the store, even if they're not happy with the items they bought. It's not fair to take people's money and not give them a refund when they can't try on clothes in-store. I want a refund put back on my credit card, and I won't shop at UrbanPlanet again if this doesn't happen. I'm really disappointed with their return policy during COVID, and I think it's rather disturbing to take advantage of customers in this way.

I'll give UrbanPlanet a few days to respond to my complaint, but if I don't get a satisfactory answer, I'll have to take a different route to get a result. I hope they can understand my frustration and make things right. Thank you for your time.

UrbanPlanet Disappointing Customer Service Experience with UrbanPlanet: Cyber Monday Purchase Review

I recently made a purchase on UrbanPlanet's website during the Cyber Monday sale on December 2nd. As expected during the holiday season, I knew it might take a little longer for my items to ship. However, I was surprised to receive an email stating that all my items had shipped except for one item that was still "preparing for shipment". This was one of the two matching pajama sets I had ordered for my boyfriend and I to wear on Christmas day.

After waiting for a while, I received the first shipment on December 18th and immediately reached out to customer service for information on the missing pajama set. They responded saying that the item was in transit, but when I checked the status, it was still "preparing for shipment". I waited for two more days and still no change. I reached out again and received an email saying "we are sorry that we have been unable to address your recent inquiry" and advised me to contact customer service again if I didn't have a tracking number yet.

Feeling frustrated, I sent out a third email and shortly after, I received an email from UrbanPlanet (not customer service) saying that the pajama set had gone out of stock prior to shipping my order and that I would be receiving a refund. I was disappointed that customer service was of no help and even lied to me. It took them 19 days to tell me that the item was out of stock.

What made it even more frustrating was that I debated ordering the pajama set again to see if it would come faster than the previous order because the size was still in stock on their website up until a week ago. Overall, I was disappointed with the lack of communication and honesty from UrbanPlanet's customer service. I hope they can improve their service in the future.

UrbanPlanet Disappointing Experience Shopping at UrbanPlanet.com: Terrible Customer Service and Shipping Delays

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience shopping at UrbanPlanet.com. I ordered a whopping 11 items on December 1st, but by December 6th, I still hadn't received any shipping confirmation. I reached out to their "customer service" team, but all I got was a generic email telling me not to worry. Not super helpful, if you ask me.

Then, on December 9th, I emailed them again to ask about the status of my order. They responded saying that I'd get my items by Christmas. But here's the thing - I wasn't even planning on using these items for Christmas! I needed them for a birthday present on December 14th. Why would they assume I needed them for Christmas?

Anyway, a few days later, I finally got an email saying that Canada Post had picked up my order and that I could track it with a tracking number. But when I tried to track it, all I saw was that a shipping label had been created - Canada Post hadn't actually picked up the order yet. I was getting pretty frustrated at this point.

So, I decided to reach out to the parent company, YM, to see if they could help. They told me that everything had been shipped on December 9th, except for one item. Why didn't they tell me that earlier? I tried to track the missing item, but it didn't arrive until December 13th. By that point, I had missed the birthday present-giving, and I felt pretty embarrassed.

The worst part is that UrbanPlanet.com kept blaming Canada Post for the delay, saying that it was the holiday season and everything was backed up. But here's the thing - I ordered items from the US and the UK after December 1st, and I got them within a few days via Canada Post. And these Urban Planet items were coming from Toronto to Toronto! So, I'm not sure what the hold-up was.

Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience shopping at UrbanPlanet.com. Their customer service was terrible - I had to email them twice just to get a response. And even the in-store reps didn't seem to care about the customer. I tried to avoid that by shopping online, but that just ended up being even more frustrating. I definitely won't be spending my money with them again.

UrbanPlanet Aggressive and Mandatory Hand Sanitizer Policy at Urban Planet in London, Ontario

I recently took my daughter to Urban Planet to get some new clothes for the summer. She was feeling down and needed a pick-me-up, and Urban Planet is one of her favorite stores. We visited the store on May 27th at the Masonville location in London, Ontario, Canada, from about 1-2pm.

However, our experience was not a pleasant one. The lady who worked at the door was extremely aggressive and rude. When we entered the store, she lunged at us with hand sanitizer and said it was mandatory. I tried to explain that we had just used our own sanitizer, but she did not listen and became even more aggressive.

My daughter and I have extremely sensitive skin, and I was concerned about using the store's sanitizer. However, to avoid my daughter being heartbroken, I let the lady put some on my hand. She went overboard and put too much on, and I had to tell her that she would not be touching my daughter. I said I would share my sanitizer with my daughter since the lady had given me too much.

I was disgusted with the lady's behavior and the fact that she treated me like a diseased criminal. It was hurtful and rude. I was also disappointed that the store did not trust its customers and made hand sanitizer mandatory. I have no problem cleaning my hands, but I do not appreciate being treated like a criminal.

This is the first store I have been to that has made hand sanitizer mandatory. Other stores, such as Marshalls and Indigo, have offered sanitizer but have respected my decision when I declined. Stores should trust their customers to make their own decisions about their health.

I have been going to many stores, including Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart, Giant Tiger, Dollarama, Home Hardware, LCBO, and No Frills, since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and not once have they demanded that I use hand sanitizer. They know that people can decide for themselves.

Sadly, my daughter and I will not be shopping at Urban Planet until the store tones down its power trip and learns to trust and respect its customers. Additionally, the store's sanitizer caused an allergic reaction on our skin, which was red and itchy within 10 minutes. My daughter's hands were very sore and dry. I don't know what brand of sanitizer the store uses, but it was really bad for our skin.

Here is an article about skin reactions to sanitizer, and I can attest that it was bad today due to the store's sanitizer: https://healthfully.com/allergic-reaction-to-hand-sanitizers-***.html

I was so mad that I could barely speak to the staff, including the lady who made me feel like scum. The whole experience was unenjoyable.

I would like to suggest that the store consider adopting the same routine as Winners, which has its change rooms open. It worked great for safety, and it is very hard to buy kids' clothes without trying them on.

Thank you for your time, and I hope that the store can change how it deals with this issue and make it a choice for customers.

Sincerely,

Andrea Card

UrbanPlanet UrbanPlanet: Terrible Customer Service and Shipping Delays

I ordered from UrbanPlanet over a month ago and still haven't gotten my stuff. They charged my credit card right away, but I haven't seen anything yet. They sent me an email saying it shipped, but it looks like it's stuck in Mississauga. This is messed up and not cool. This is the second time I've ordered from them and never got my stuff. They never ship the items! I've emailed customer service like 10 times and haven't heard back. This company is the worst. They better go bankrupt soon because they're a pain in the butt for the Canadian economy. It's not fair to take people's money and not give them what they paid for.

UrbanPlanet Disappointing 24hr Shipping Experience with Urban Planet - Package Stolen from Doorstep

I've bought stuff from UrbanPlanet.com before and I gotta say, it's usually pretty good. I always get my orders delivered to my work address because I know they usually come during the day. But last Friday, I decided to order something to my apartment because I was gonna be home for the next 24 hours. I saw that they had 24hr shipping as an option, so I figured why not?

Well, let me tell you, that was a mistake. My package didn't show up when it was supposed to, and I had to leave my apartment for a bit. When I got back, I saw that they had left the package at my door. And guess what? Someone had stolen it. I mean, I know it's not Urban Planet's fault that there are crummy people out there, but if they had actually delivered my package within 24 hours like they said they would, then my mail wouldn't have been stolen. Now I'm out $78, and I'm not impressed.

I mean, I get it, things happen. But if you're gonna offer a service like 24hr shipping, you gotta make sure you can actually deliver on it. And if you can't, then you gotta make it right for your customers. I don't know if I'll be ordering from Urban Planet again after this. It's just too bad, because I really liked their stuff.

UrbanPlanet Terrible Customer Service at UrbanPlanet: A Disappointing Experience

I gotta say, UrbanPlanet's customer service is straight up terrible. I've been trying to get in touch with them for days, calling and leaving voice messages, but no one ever picks up or calls me back. It's like they don't even care about their customers.

I recently bought a top from Urban Behavior at the Metrotown Burnaby location, and when I got home, I realized that the cashier forgot to remove the censor tag. I went back to the store four days later to ask for help, but the lady who said she was the store manager was so rude to me. She wouldn't even listen to me because I didn't have any proof of purchase. I mean, come on, I have a tag on my top and I just need some help getting it off.

Because of this whole ordeal, I had to miss a shift at work just to go back to the store and try to get some help. And the worst part is that the store manager acted like she was better than me, like she had no respect for me as a person. It's like she didn't care about my time or my money.

Overall, I'm really disappointed with UrbanPlanet. Their customer service is terrible and their store managers have no respect for their customers. I wouldn't recommend shopping here if you want to be treated like a human being.

UrbanPlanet Unforgiving Worker Ruined Back to School Shopping at UrbanPlanet

So, me and my buddies decided to hit up UrbanPlanet for some back to school shopping. I was sipping on my water when my friend accidentally knocked it out of my hand. It made a bit of a mess and the worker who was behind us got pretty upset. She kicked us out of the store, even though it was a complete accident. I apologized right away and even went back later to apologize again, but she was just too grumpy to care. All she said was "it's fine" and kept on walking. She had red hair and I think she should have been a bit more understanding, especially since we're just kids. It's not like we were trying to cause trouble or anything.

Honestly, I was pretty disappointed that I couldn't do my back to school shopping because of this lady. It's not like we were causing a scene or anything. We were just trying to have a good time and get some new clothes for the school year. But I guess some people just don't have any patience or understanding.

So, if you're thinking about going to UrbanPlanet, just be careful around the workers. Some of them can be pretty uptight and unforgiving. And if you see a red-headed lady working there, watch out! She might kick you out for something as simple as a spilled drink.

UrbanPlanet UrbanPlanet's Terrible Customer Service and Shipping Delays - A Warning to Others

So, I decided to give UrbanPlanet a try and ordered something on May 17th. I chose to have it shipped to my local store so I could get free shipping. I was told that it would take 5-7 business days to arrive, but it has been almost a month and it's still in transit. I'm not one to get angry easily, but this is ridiculous. I've tried emailing customer service, but no one ever responds. I've also tried calling the help line, but no one ever answers. It's frustrating because I don't know what's going on and I just want my stuff. It's even more frustrating because they took my money and haven't shipped out my order. It's like they're stealing from me! I'm so stressed out and I just want my money back. It's insane that they can get away with this kind of behavior.

UrbanPlanet Unprofessional and Disrespectful: My Experience Working at UrbanPlanet

I used to work at UrbanPlanet for a bit, but I didn't get any training. My boss would ask me to do things that I wasn't trained for, and then they would yell at me in front of customers. It was so unprofessional. The store where I worked also had shoplifters coming in every day. If a worker couldn't catch them, the boss would get mad at us. They still haven't hired a security guard, even though the amount that's been stolen could've already paid for one. The East Indian bosses also talk bad about white people in their language. It's so disrespectful. They could just talk to them about what they're doing wrong. I would never shop here again or recommend working here!

I mean, seriously, who wants to work at a place where they don't even train you? And then they yell at you in front of customers? That's just embarrassing. And don't even get me started on the shoplifters. It's like they don't even care about the merchandise. They just come in and take whatever they want. And then the boss gets mad at us for not catching them. Like, how are we supposed to do that without any training or security?

And don't even get me started on the bosses talking bad about white people. That's just not cool. They could just talk to them about what they're doing wrong instead of talking behind their backs. It's just disrespectful.

Overall, I would not recommend shopping at UrbanPlanet or working there. It's just not worth it.

UrbanPlanet Disappointing Experience at UrbanPlanet.com: Lack of Customer Service and Transparency

I recently went shopping at UrbanPlanet.com and I have to say, it was a bit of a disappointing experience. Despite there being only a few other customers in the store, not a single worker greeted us or acknowledged our presence. It made the atmosphere feel cold and unwelcoming.

As I was browsing the racks, I found a few items that caught my eye and decided to make a purchase. However, when I got to the counter, the cashier told me that I could get a great deal if I added a few more items to my purchase. I was hesitant, but decided to take a look around and see if there was anything else I wanted.

To my surprise, I found two more items that were clearly part of the same sale as the items I had already picked out. However, when I brought them to the counter, the cashier told me that they were not part of the sale and I would have to pay full price for them. I was frustrated because it seemed like a bait and switch tactic to get me to spend more money.

In the end, I decided not to purchase those items because I felt like I was being taken advantage of. It was disappointing because I had been excited to find some good deals, but instead I left feeling frustrated and cheated.

Overall, I think UrbanPlanet.com has some work to do in terms of customer service and transparency. It's important for businesses to treat their customers with respect and honesty, and unfortunately my experience fell short in those areas.

UrbanPlanet Terrible Quality and No Refunds: My Disappointing Experience with UrbanPlanet

I gotta say, I'm not impressed with UrbanPlanet. The clothes they sell are just plain bad. I bought a coat for my granddaughter and it had a hole in the sleeve! I didn't even notice until we got it home. When I tried to return it, they wouldn't give me a refund. Can you believe that? They said it was because I bought it during some kind of sale and didn't bring the other item I got for 1 cent. Like, what does that even have to do with anything? They only offered to exchange it for something of the same price, but there was hardly anything to choose from. And get this, I couldn't even buy two items that added up to the price of the coat. What a rip off!

As I looked around the store, I noticed that the quality of the clothes was just plain terrible. I saw two other items with holes in them, one in the neck and one down the side. It's like they don't even care about the quality of their products. I wouldn't recommend shopping here at all. The product is just awful. I can see why they have a no refund policy, they'd go broke from all the items being returned.

UrbanPlanet Disappointing Customer Service and Inconsistent Quality at UrbanPlanet

UrbanPlanet is a store that is all about the money, and they don't seem to care much about their customers. I had a problem with an order I placed, and I'm still waiting for a response from them. They made a mistake that shouldn't have happened in the first place, and the discount and free shipping they gave me were cheap and not worth it.

The clothes they sell are of decent quality, but they're not always consistent. I've found that their jeans are usually pretty good, but other items can be hit or miss. If you're a busty girl like me, you might have a hard time finding dresses and tights that fit you properly.

I've shopped both online and in-store at UrbanPlanet, and I have to say that in-store is definitely the better way to go. However, even when I find something I like, they're often out of my size. As a bigger girl, this can be really frustrating and it's definitely a blow to my self-esteem. It's hard to find cute things that actually fit me, and I often have to settle for less exciting options.

Overall, I would say that UrbanPlanet is an okay store if you're looking for basic items like jeans or t-shirts. However, if you're looking for something more specific or if you're a bigger girl, you might have a harder time finding what you're looking for. Their customer service could definitely use some improvement, and I hope they start to prioritize their customers more in the future.

UrbanPlanet Poor Customer Service at UrbanPlanet in North Vancouver: Manager Refused to Admit Mistake on Receipt

I went to UrbanPlanet in North Vancouver to buy some shorts. The store had a lot of options and I was able to find a pair that I really liked. However, when I got home and checked my receipt, I noticed that the manager had scanned the wrong item. I decided to go back to the store a few days later to exchange it.

When I got to the store, I explained the situation to the manager and showed him my receipt. He seemed annoyed and told me that he was "helping" me. I didn't understand why he was being so defensive, since it was clearly his mistake. I tried to explain this to him, but he kept insisting that he was right.

Things got worse when I used the word "accusing." The manager suddenly became very angry and refused to help me any further. He told me that I needed to prove that he had made a mistake, even though it was obvious from the receipt. I even suggested that we check the security camera footage, but he didn't want to do that either.

I was really disappointed with the manager's attitude. I understand that UrbanPlanet is a cheap clothing store, but that doesn't mean that they can treat their customers poorly. As a manager, he should have been more professional and willing to admit his mistake.

If you decide to shop at UrbanPlanet, I would recommend checking your receipt carefully before you leave the store. If a worker or manager scans the wrong item, they might try to blame you for their mistake. It's not fair, but that's the reality of shopping at this store.
