Form I134A Approved yet not completed
We applied/approved for Form I134a back in Jan.2023 for my mother in law and two children. Our next step was to confirm their biographical information via the uscis website. However, due to a glitch in the website; we cannot do this. After many calls all they tell us is to reapply. We finally try to reapply but cannot because there already exists applications. Now they just give us the run around and say an agent will call us in 30days. We asked if they can put a 72 hour call back inquiry and were denied because its not "an amergency". Its coming up on 5 months!
Desired outcome: We just want this resolved so we can move foward.
negligence to duty and lack of proper documentation leading to loss of green card
1. July 01, 2015- I received a form I-797C, Notice of action for case type I-130, Petition for Alien relative, after i filed for my spouse. Petition received at my given address, where i lived with my siblings - 14532 N Pennsylvania Avenue, Apt 101, Oklahoma City, Ok 73134.
2.August 31, 2015- Received a receipt for payment made at the same address.
3.November 2015 - I physically moved out of that address but still received mails at the same address as i was always back to same place everyday to pick up my kids after the school bus dropped them off so all my mails would be received.
4.April 2017 - My husband was granted his immigrant visa in Nigeria and i was so elated, finally, i get to be with my husband and my kids stop crying everyday for their father.
5.Spouse's name - Sunday Oluwaseyi Asagun with case number LGS2015773023
5. May 20, 2017 - I as the petitioner, paid for a permanent resident card (green card) to avoid delay so my husband could have it and be ready to work and do all he had to do.
Pay Gov Tracking ID -262J89v7; Agency Tracking ID - 8ACDDA95A67444; Transaction type- Credit card. Amount - $220.00.
6. Receipt number : IOE0464681691.
7. Called USCIS several times after since we never received the card and was told it was mailed to : 14300 N Pennsylvania Avenue, Apt 1, Oklahoma City, Ok 73134. Of course, it never made it to us since that is not a valid address for me or my sibling. Please note address at the top(Apt 101) where i had formerly received all correspondences.
8. June 2017 - Had USCIS update my address to 14300 N Pennsylvania Avenue, Apt 79, Oklahoma City, OK 73134.
9.July 2017 - Received a notice of change of address stating my address had been updated at new address.
10. August 01 2017 - Received another notice, (This time, USCIS attached the initial envelope they used to mail out the card in June which was never delivered as well as a Return to Sender Vacant Unable to Forward Stamp which i assume was placed by the post office as evidence that they initially mailed it out but to the wrong address which i do not know how it came about in their system) stating that the green card was RETURNED TO THEIR OFFICE UNDELIVERABLE and would be remailed within 90 days. This letter was stamped August 01 2017 AM 40 with a number 101295 written below the stamp. This was mailed to my address in a USCIS envelope dated August 03 2017. This shows that it card was actually returned to the USCIS office undeliverable.
10. Waited 90 days, no card. Called severally with my husband, no progress. Sometimes when we call, we are told the card was returned to USCIS and shredded. At another time, we were told the card never returned to them. I have evidence and letter sent to me stating the card was returned undeliverable and would be re-mailed.
11.Even went to the post office with the tracking number provided by USCIS, checked with my siblings, the apartment office and everywhere but no progress. Booked an appointment and went to the local office in Oklahoma City to resolve this, and was told we had to file a form I-90, pay another fee, this time $455 for I-90 and $85 for biometrics and wait for 9 months to 1 year to get the card.
12. I am currently a mother of two and my husband cannot work without a green card. This implies that he is practically stuck for the next 1 year doing nothing with all the bills and children to feed.
I would sincerely appreciate if this is investigated duly so it could be resolved, my husbands card sent to him so he can move on with life and my family can be happy again as currently no one is taking responsibility for this neither is anyone willing to go an extra inch to resolve this issue.
Rude Agent
8/14/2015, 8:45AM MT
I called the USCIS National Customer Service hotline to report that the two most recent notices I received from them had my name wrong. When I explained this to the agent, he asked for my surname first, which I gave and even spelled. Then he asked for my first name to which I said "Okay, this is one of the things that USCIS always messes up, so let me tell you initially that I have two first names." Then I gave my name to them and spelled them as well. When I asked "Can you please repeat what's on your notes so I can make sure? I'm sorry, I have called about this a lot of times and they still have it incorrectly, so I just want to make extra sure this time.", he repeated it and completely got it incorrectly and put the second part of my first name in the middle name field. I repeated that those two are my first names and that he misspelled the second one. He went on to say "No, so your middle name is.." then proceeded to spell it..incorrectly. This back and forth happened at least 5 times, with me correcting him after every attempt. When I started getting frustrated, I said "I'm sorry, I'm pregnant and two weeks away from my due date. I'm getting frustrated talking to you, so can you please transfer me to someone else?" HE HUNG UP.

WORK PERMIT
USCIS WAS MAKING MY LIFE REALLY HARD FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS.I'VE BEEN LIVING IN U.S. FOR ABOUT 9 YEARS.
SOMETIMES THEY MAKE DECISIONS ON WORK PERMITS REALLY FAST, SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO WAIT LIKE 9 MONTHS TO GET ONE!
I LIVE WITH MY MOM AND MY SISTER AND I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO WORKED AT THAT TIME, MY MOM WASN'T BE ABLE TO FIND ANY JOB FOR A VERY LONG TIME AND MY SISTER TOO, AND SHE WAS GOING TO COLLEGE.SO, WHENEVER MY WORK PERMIT GETS EXPIRED, I DON'T REALLY FEEL COMFORTABLE 24/7, CUZ I WORRY IT WOULDN'T GET TO ME ON TIME.I'VE ALREADY LOST 3 JOBS SO FAR, JUST BECAUSE MY EXPIRED WORK PERMIT.I ALWAYS FILE FOR IT 4 OR 5 MONTHS IN ADVANCE AND I GUESS IT'S NOT ENOUGH TIME FOR THEM TO MAKE NEW WORK PERMIT.IT MIGHT BE BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE ENOUGH PEOPLE IN THEIR OFFICES, IT'S PROBABLY JUST ONE PERSON WHO MAKES WORK PERMITS FOR THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF IMMIGRANTS.OH WELL, WHATEVER IT IS, IT HURTS MY WALLET REALLY BAD, AND MAKES MY LIFE REALLY HARD.

International students are charged almost double tuition, very few jobs on campus and they won't hire you because you dont have "work experience". you are denied opportunity to acquire that experience because you cannot work off campus. why should full time international students not have the opportunity to pick up a job to help meet up a few bills? Every cent goes back in the form of "double tuition " paid anyways.
I dont know how port of entry in USA is allowing L1 Visa people because many people from Cognitzant will show in Port of Entry that they work for Cognizant but once they enter into USA they will be working for different client Live example in (Comcast) PA.I dont know how we can rectify such a problem.
Immigration Process
I am an American citizen who married a French man while I was abroad last year. We began the immigration process 1 year ago and now, over a thousand dollars later, we are giving up due to the incompetent, condescending people and system.
They gave us trouble at every turn, but we finally made it to the interview stage last week. Finally, they will not accept my husbands birth certificate, which has been obtained from the French government according to their instructions. There is nothing wrong with the birth certificate, but the 25 year old behind the desk didn't recognize it, so that pretty much ended our interview before it even began.
Then she just continued to condescend us. She wondered why we wanted to move someplace other than Michigan where I grew up (apparently she doesn't read the papers and does not know that they have 20% unemployment at the moment). She accused us of wanting to come to America to use public assistance. My husband is a computer science engineer who earns $120, 000/year and is fluent in English, we have saved $50, 000 to make this move go smoothly, I hardly think we would stay if we ran out of money. Its so insulting that she suggested this was our "plan". The NVC asked us to bring financial documents supporting our evidence, and she refused to even look at what we brought because she said it didn't matter. She said it was irrelevant to the case, and was absolutely unhelpful.
The only possible solution she offered was suggesting that I move to America alone, work and live here for several months, and then after that *perhaps* my husband could join me. We find this ENTIRELY RIDICULOUS. We are a newly married couple and the thought of spending six months or more apart just because the American government is full of absurd bureaucracy and incompetent fools is too much to bear. We are tired and annoyed at these protectionistic jerks. From the moment you begin the process, you feel that they don't want you to come, even if you have good reasons and a sound plan. Something has gone very very wrong in America...

SPOUSE VISA
I am a united states citizen applied for spousal visa (i130) which the processing time as per uscis is six months.. Its been 9 months and havent heard.. Every time I call to find out status.. I am getting the same reply... Which is to wait... Is any one responsible working there? Can any one fix this problem?
9 months that i've lost with my spouse who is gonna give me back?
This is ridiculous!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
This action by our government is not who we are. This unilateral death decision is humanly unconscionable. How cold can you be as employees to carry out such illegal activities? This is NOT my government!
Can i make a case against a website its call itscanadatime they are kind of Canadian agency who process the application who want to go to canada. It tooks my lots of money to get the Canadian Permanent visa. But I haven't got the visa they don't wanna refund me..please can you help me I have proved everything.
commentator "johanson" above is clueless and pathetic in attitude. calling someone's real problem as possible fraud only exposes your hidden insecurity and ignorance.
these processing times are unacceptable, everyone should write their representatives to expedite these times and make these agencies more efficient. in the age of twitter and instant information processing, no one should need to wait for months for mere document processing.
The processing time is always longer when they suspect fraud. In particular if this person is of Indian descent of which has the highest probabilty that your wife is actually your sister or neice, etc. Also its usually the ones who complain the most who are the ones who are committing fraud as they feel as if they are entitled to jump ahead in line and the USCIS people are more like servants who are beneath them. Of course this means those sticky wheels stay stuck instead of getting the grease u know what im sayin
COME IN ACROSS THE BORDER U WILL GET WHAT U WONT A LOT FASTER
They want me to pay for their mistakes
OMG... that's what I can say. The US Immigration service is a running a scam that is reporting them millions and millions of dollars a month and nobody has said anything. I'm a legal resident of the US and came here legally. I'm married to an american citizen and all my paperwork is fine. I had a green card and it had a conditional status. After changing my status and paying 387.00 I was supposed to get my new green card... well guess what? I never got it. I'm elegible for citizenship now, but I can't apply for it if I don't have a copy of my green card. I contacted immigration and they told me to send in new paperwork and that I didn't have to pay again..LIARS! they stated that my card was sent in August of last year and their responsibility ended as soon as the document left the building. I contacted the post office, they don't have it. I Resubmitted the paperwork and they sent me a letter saying I have to pay the 387.oo again! the worst part is that this has happen to at least 5 other people that I've met or known by someone I know. If you add up, they can make easily over a cool million a month, by making people pay AGAIN for something they will never get. This is a scam and people that have this happen should protest. I'm writing letters to the media and to my representatives. We have paid a lot of money on immigration fees ( no problem on that, since this services need to be paid... ), still need to pay over 800 to become a citizen and on top of that the 387.00 for a green card that I never got. UNFAIR! bad practices.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have seen many people paying US citizens in order to get their legal status and they get away with it...they FOOL the officers or whatever they are called. There are real couples that are hard working and trying to succeed in this country and those so called "officers" don't realize what they are doing wrong. They deny the right people the right to be together here in the US while letting thugs and other people that have nothing to do here stay and ruin what we work for. This is not a fair department and the employees do not know what they are doing! I am complaining because I know this couple and it is really upsetting to see how those employees do what they please instead of really looking into all the legal paperwork and proof! I am a born citizen and wish I could have the power to enforce the hiring of honest and COMPETENT people to handle who comes and stays in our country.
I saw many people coming to USA on L1 Visa in port of entry they will tell they work for Cognitzant but after when they enter in USA they work for Comcast
They have started with me by losing picture and one of the marriage licenses that costed me more time and money to get and send.Make sure you have a good lawyer while dealing with our crooked goverment and immigrion itself.
Long time processing documents!
We are very disappointed of the Immigration Services and Benefits. We applied for my wife's employment authorization following all the deadlines we were told, in advance and paying a big amount of money 340 dollars for something that has been flying with the wind all this time, we applied in October and it is supposed we should have gotten such document...

I filed a petition for my finance 4/2006 and was approved.
