My name is Carolyn Tyner [protected]), and I had a really bad experience at Ruby Tuesday tonight (Friday, January 29, 2021)
My son orders Ruby Tuesday (half rack of ribs and double fries extra bbq sauce) almost EVERY Friday night. Tonight showed up to pick up his food and he went inside, when he finally came back out he said, Momma they gave my food to someone else. Then a guy walked in and they took a bag from a guy and gave it to me and said it was mine. I said what? He said when I went to the bar and told her I was Cole here to pick up my order she said no you're not Cole. Cole just walked out. She (Karen at the bar with the red mask) said no Cole just left. He said she was arguing with him about his name. Cole said, My name is Cole and I ordered half rack of ribs with double fries. Then a guy came and said his order wasn't right. He said this is ribs and fries. The lady at the bar said you're Jeremy! And she took the bag and gave it to Cole.
I went inside to her and told her that she shouldn't have given Cole this because someone else had handled it and took it outside then came back in and gave it to you because it was the wrong order. She said, He didn't take this outside. I said yes he did, I was sitting right outside the door and saw him come outside to his car the immediately got out the car and went back in the door. (We was parked outside in pickup #2) he walked right pass my car. She wanted me to take the food and I refused and she finally said, Do you want to speak to the manager and I said yes I would. She took the bag to a lady in a blue shirt and after talking with her I saw her throw the bag in the trash. Then I heard the lady in the blue shirt call back the order again. The lady in the red mask came over and said they're getting you some more food and walked off. Later she came back with the order and she basically threw it to me on the counter and walked off. She walked passed me and I told her we ordered extra bbq sauce. She said okay. Later another server brought the bbq sauce to me.
I didn't get ANY kind of apology! And what she did was wrong! That bag should not have been given to anyone else in normal circumstances let a lone with COVID-19 out there! She didn't say I'm sorry for the mix up or anything. She was really mad because she had to re-make our food and it really showed, neither did the lady in the blue shirt try to apologize.
This situation was all so wrong and they acted as if it was okay!
This happened at Ruby Tuesday #4669 101 Troy Plaza Loop Troy, AL 36081.
Karen W 1253 was not a pleasant person in any way tonight.
This all happen about 6:09 according to our receipt.
Apparently she gave all our receipt to Jeremy also, because I just checked the receipt and it's for ribs/shrimp and double loaded mashed potatoes. And that's how bad it was.
It was just a bad experience that gave me a really bad migraine and that shouldn't have happened. The way she treated all of us shouldn't have happened. Jeremy was still sitting at the bar waiting for his food when I left!
Desired outcome: Refund and for the managers to be nicer to ALL their customers not just some of them.
