Vons

On June 17,2023 I did a very large order it was approximately 960.00. My husband I am have been shopping at Vons for almost 40 years. This specific time the checker was very rude. Because I had so many groceries my husband took out our first cart to unload the groceries, she rudely said we don’t do that until the order is completed, which is fine but it was the way she said it. I had not saw her before she wasn’t a checker we were used to. My husband also observed her attitude. At the end I wanted to split my total on two cards and the transaction declined because they thought it was fraud and I didn’t have my phone I had to approve the purchase, long story short I ended up putting it on my debt card and transaction was completed but everyone in the line was aware and she made me feel like I did something wrong and was committing a crime. She made sure that everyone in line heard it too. It was humiliating and embarrassing. My days at Vons are over, I’m going to go to a different grocery store there are 3 others close by. Whether your having a bad day I’m the customer and I was very humiliated for no reason. I was very kind and didn’t say anything to provoke her attitude. Thats unfortunate. Customer service has declined over the years we’ve shopped there at least twice a week. Not anymore that was the last straw for me regardless if someone’s card is declined for whatever reason be kind and private. That is very personal and very embarrassing regardless!
