On April 20th 2021 I went to Target to pick up a prescription. I am not a mask wearer and am exempt. I have not had problems entering the store however, I arrive at CVS and am not greeted nicely. I am asked what I want, do I have to ask a question as I am standing in the Pick up line. I tell Chris that I am there to pick up a medication. He does not stop to come over and tells me he won't help me without a mask. I reply " Are you not aware of people exempt from wearing a mask?" He was extremely rude and condescending. The CA Law trumps any recommendation and mandate. When I asked for a manager he said he was one. If this is how mangers are allowed to treat their customers I will not be back to any CVS.
Desired outcome: would like an email back at [protected]@gmail.com

I just had this experience at their Henderson store off Pecos and Wigwam. I was told upon entry from the women behind the counter that I needed a mask. I informed her I can't wear one and I've already spoken to the store manager on this issue. When I came to the counter, she went on to tell me I haven't spoken the the manager as the manager is new and I couldn't have spoken to them. She's new to me and I told her it was dealt with in the past. She went on to grill me on who it was, the name, etc. I informed her I didn't know her name, but described her. She said she, herself recently transferred from another store and I can't be there without a mask on. I told her she was bringing an ignorant understanding then from the other store. She said I can't come back without a mask on. I told her I won't be back! Unfreaking-believable. Even the past manager printed off the full mandate and found the medical exemption portion and read it to me and said I was fine to be in there! I have spent a lot of money in their store over the years, especially in the last 2 years, but I am done! They are losing my patronage and I will NOT be. back!
