Why does the EDD claim they have the influx of calls handled by hiring more employees and added new phone numbers. Well this has done nothing to help as I have stayed on the phone 3 days straight with no luck. Its not bad enough that the verification hours are only8 till 12. The last person I spoke to was Katrina and she assured me to keep calling and I would get in. WRONG
I opened a claim in August and still fighting to get the verification, although everything has been sent and received by EDD. I have complaints that make mine look simple but I am up in age and it just makes me tired.
I would have put the address down but frankly, EDD has so many different addresses. I know how busy everyone at EDD is but maybe you should set up a senior phone line, I would like to know exactly what EDD needs for my ID. I have sent my California License, my SS#, a copy of my water bill.
