Dealer Cost Car Audio - Will not refund my money

My son ordered speakers from them on 5/11/09 they were delivered by UPS on 5/14/09. Speakers were broken. Returned them after filing a claim with UPS. 6 months of constant contact by e-mail or phone. They promised a credit but the items were never available. They promised a refund which never has materialized. They promised they would resolve it last week. Now they do not answer my e-mails. I have filed complaints with the BBB, State of Utah Division of Consumer Protection and anyone else I can think of to get my sons hard earned money back.

I placed my order and they immediately charged my card. After 2 weeks, I emailed asking if my oder had shipped. They responded "Processed out for shipment already." When I asked for a tracking # they did not have one. Then they tell me that the item is actually backordered and I will have to wait.

I tell them to just cancel the order. This was a nightmare. The customer servive was evasive and extremely ambigiuous. Their emails went in circles and got me nowhere. Finally they agreed to cancel my order and refund my money. So, almost 2 weeks later... still no refund.

Do not Buy Them, Do not buy from them or you'll have the worst experience of your life! I bought a pair of speakers and a sub on Dec/20/2017 we are in Feb/14/2017 and still not received my stuff. not even for a moment consider buying from DCCA, they are liars! after a minimum 40 e-mail `s and many hours on the phone waiting, trying to talk with them to resolve (they never answer the phone never!) I contacted my bank to get my money back(the only way). DCCA should be banned from the enternet..

THESE GUYS ARE THIEVES! THEY STOLE $300.99 FROM ME. They do not have a business license in Santa Clara, CA. I called the city. Their address is a mail center (like a PO BOX).

I let them put me off past 60 days and was not able to dispute the charges with my credit card. And this company refused to return my money and now my emails. Because they don't have an actually address you cannot find they to sue them.

Now that I have post a lot of negative reviews, DCCA contacted me. They asked me to *** the reviews then they would return my money. These guys never stop trying to manipulate people. I told them to return my money and then I would remove the reviews. Never heard back from them. The reviews continue. The truth hurts...

Ordered ALPINE PXE-H650 from Dealer Cost Car Audio last year. They charged my credit card on 22nd Nov 2017 when item was never in stock. Never notified me regarding item being out of stock. About a month later email them asking where is item and was told no stock yet. Asked why was credit card was charged when item was not yet in stock. Sales manager robert replied and said this is correct and said "no stock yet". 2 months later asked Robert to contact Alpine to see when will stock be arriving, he said few days time. A few weeks after that contacted him again and ask what happen. He says "still on backorder"? It is now 15th March 2017 and still no item. Will keep this review updated on more delays

My mistake was not researching before buying off Dealer Cost Car Audio. Pls do research on any business to see if there are any customers complaints before purchasing off the net.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE UNLESS YOU DO A "REVIEWS" SEARCH FIRST. Placed order on 8/15/09 and paid with debit card which was immediately charged. On 8/24/09 still no shipping notice. Customer service Robert Jones email said should ship any day. September still no shipping. Email customer service, they pleaded "ignorant" and asked me to provide them with order details. Did so. They replied it would ship in next few days. October, asked them to cancel. They emailed "why". Did not. November asked for refund. They emailed "is there a problem". December I wrote to the CA State Attorney General, they wrote him. He replied to them that he was canceling order and refunding money and on Jan 27, 2017 emailed me that order was canceled and I should have my refund in 3 to 7 days. February 10, 2017 still no refund, tired to get bank to credit but too much time had elapsed for them to do it. Customer service said they need me to provide my credit card info to them so they could get the refund, this was well after the date of 27th Jan when they said it had been refunded. ALL THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN RIPPED BY DEALER COST CAR AUDIO IN SANTA ANA CA NEED TO GO ONLINE TO THE CA STATES ATTORNEY GENERAL'S WEBSITE AND FILE A COMPLAINT. They have informed me if they get enough complaints they will investigate them. The BBB has over 500 complaints on this company and gives them an "F". PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE.

I had ordered a subwoofer on 10/06/09 from this so called "company" with my CHECK CARD (remember) and got an email immediately stating that it was confirmed that my order has been processed and that I should be receiving a tracking number within 7 days. I received no email with tracking number 7 days after the initial order so I decided to call them and see what was going on. After about an hour or so on hold I got threw, I was given the answer of "pioneer is being slow" even though their website shows that the subwoofer was IN STOCK. I then waited until 10/12/09 to send them an email asking what the deal is with my purchase and why it is taking so long for them to send it out. At this point I was getting tired of playing games trying to get through with their phones so I emailed them asking to cancel the order and get the refund. This was 10/13/09 when I sent the initial email asking for the refund and cancel, I got a response from "Robert Jones" saying that he can TRY and get it canceled and for me to touch base with him within 1-2 days to confirm. I then sent him an email on the next day asking how the process is coming along and he responds "should be 2-3 days or less". So far it has been over 2 weeks since the initial order and nothing to show for it. I decided to be patient for a little bit, giving them the benefit of the doubt. I waited until 10/19/09 to email them again as to where my money is because I still haven't received it. They then send me an email stating that is has now just been UPDATED to the status of CANCELED... and that it takes between 7-14 business days to get my money back. I waited the 7 days and still have nothing back from them. I once again called them I called them on 11/04/09 (almost an entire month from original purchase date) to try and figure out what the deal is yet again... the only answer i received was "it can take up to one billing cycle and that I should see it very shortly, within the next couple days". Now remember I used a CHECK CARD not a CREDIT CARD to purchase this item, a check card doesn't use a billing cycle. It should have just gone directly into my account. Nader (or whatever his name is, he talks too fast to make other people feel like he knows what he is talking about) that all i have to do is send them an email with a fax number asking for a "refund receipt" because apparently by law they cant just email it or send it in the mail, BS. I emailed them with a fax number requesting the receipt on 11/04/09, immediately right after I got off the phone with him. I expected to see it by the end of the day but didn't, so I emailed them yet again asking for it to be sent by tomorrow morning (11/05/09) and still nothing. I have been getting played with and toyed around for an entire month now by this SCAM of a company. These people have TERRIBLE customer service, this so called "company/business" is a JOKE! I have read other reviews from people and apparently I am not the only person who has a problem with these people. I also did some more research and stumbled upon these facts... In the past 36 months they have had 253 complaints with the better business bureau! That is ridiculous! guess I should have done this research before I got into this whole mess. PS... I still don't have my money back (11/06/09)

Ordered a Viper 5902 On Thursday 2/25/10 with Dodge bypass, Called all day Thursday and never got through wasted many cell minutes at the end of a 15 Min wait it said call can not go through.Called again friday got through was told my item would ship out Friday today... Got email later today saying no tracking yet wouldnt ship till monday, tired of stressing over this and reading bad reviews. I have emailed them Tonight 2/26/10 and asked for a full refund If they respond ASAP i will change my review to positive. I honestly belive this company dosent stock any products and just orders them once people order off their site. PLease refund my order ASAP Thank you. Although they do respond to emails fairly quick. *i will update with refund status*

Place online order on 8/15/09 paid with debit card. Card was immediately charged. 8/24/09 no shipping notice emailed customer service they said should be shipped any day. September no shipping notice emailed customer service they said "clarify" and send invoice to them. October no shipping emailed customer service to cancel order and refund they said "why". December submitted complaint to CA State Attorney General they wrote to Dealer Cost Car Audio. Dealer Cost send them back a reply that they had canceled and refund the money. Jan 27th 2017 Dealer Cost emailed me that they had canceled the order and I should have my refund in 3 to 7 days. February 10th still no refund. EmailedDealer Cost Car Audio and they asked for my credit card number so they could refund which means they lied to the CA Attorney General. Do Not Buy From This Company before you do a "review" search. They have over 500 BBB reports and have an "F" rating. Also, anyone who has been ripped by them should go online to the CA State Attorney General's website and file a complaint. They told me if they get enough complaints they will start and investigation. Let's put an end to this online crook.

I ordered in March of 09, I have been going back and forth with Robert Jones the so called Sales Manager thru email (he won't return my calls) about getting a refund on a subwoofer that I ordered. They keep telling me that they will refund but don't. Do not buy from this company, they are liars and thieves.

yeah i am going through same problem now i ordered an amp but they would never ship it. so i canceled the order and they wouldnt cancel it for a week till i finally got a hold of him and now i cant get my money refunded. i have been fightingthem everyday but cant seem to get them to refund my money. this coompany is a joke and starting to think i never will get my money. there has got to be away to fix this or get this company out of business.
