I was in the store earlier browsing for a few items when an older male staff member asked in a gruff tone if there was anything he could help me find. This tone was unnecessary and lacked manners. When I told him what I needed, he told me, in another gruff tone, that the item was to my left. He never bothered to look at me or make any sort of eye contact. Immediately afterwards, he "snickered" at me. I checked out the item I was looking for then went back to the aisle where the older male staff member was to look for another item. He stood up walked behind me then asked in another gruff and more intense tone if there was something else he could help me find. He gave off this tone as if I were being a burden to him or just bothering him. When I told him I didn't need anymore help, especially if he was going to "giggle" or "snicker" at me again he immediately became defensive, never apologized for his rude behavior and tried to act like he didn't know what I was talking about. I told him that he was behaving rudely and to be professional. When walking away, his response was, "Whatever." When I called him out on this, which I clearly heard him say, he denied it. When I asked for his manager he took a snarky tone and told me that she's around somewhere while "holding his hands up" in a gesture that was unprofessional and lacked manners. I reported this individual to the store manager. I got the impression that she would do very little about this incident. She acted like she cared but really didn't. This is clearly a reflection of poor supervision, bad training and severely lacking in customer service. I immediately left the store and took my business elsewhere. I bought the items I was looking for at a different store. The young man I spoke to at the other store's pharmacy was professional and helpful, not juvenile and unprofessional like the male I had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with at this CVS. That male staff member's behavior at this CVS was very juvenile, dismissive and lacking any sort of integrity. I recommend going to another pharmacy or different CVS as this one has staff that is unprofessional and rude. I hope that a Regional Manager for CVS reads this as this must be embarrassing and shameful to them. Please do something about this.
Desired outcome: I would like this employee to be reprimanded and not just “talked to” like the store manager told me.
