Today, March 24, 2021 I was a Starbucks and experienced the rudest Barista. My husband ordered a Very Berry with no water. While I was standing there watching the drinks being made I saw the Barista put water into a cup. Now granted, she could have been adding water to a different drink, but there is no call for the attitude that I had received. I asked her very politely if she had added water to the Very Berry and I was given major attitude. Her comment to me was "No, I did not add water." I said are you sure? She said "what, you don't believe me, I was making another drink" in a very snippy tone with a scowl above her eyes and then said, "I can remake it for you but you will have to wait awhile for another one." I said "you do realize that you are in customer service, right? Shame on you for speaking to a patron in that manner as you are in customer service."
I am in HR and this in not how you treat customers.
Desired outcome: My desired outcome, educate her again on the basics of customer service and write her up for failing to conduct herself in a professional manner.
