I used the majority of my points back in january to book a reservation for the presidential suite. I called 2 days prior to let the resort know that we would arrive in the evening. Nothing was mentioned at the time about any issues regarding my reservation. Upon arrival at 8:30pm, we were informed that there was a problem with the ac and were downgraded to a 2-bedroom unit for the night. The management stated that they would be refunding the difference in points to my account-which they would be obligated to do anyway. When they saw that we were upset because nothing was as being done as a sign of trying to make it up to us, since we were now being inconvenienced, a $50 credit was given, which was a joke since we booked a room that typically sells for $900 a night and were placed in a room that sells for $200. Then, management said they'd be willing to come breakfast for 1 day only or $100 at the spa when there are 2 of us and the minimum massage is $140 each. I travel the world and accidents/hiccups happen, but I expect for management to be accommodating and hospitable since we couldn't unpack and had to spend 1.5 days dealing with this issue.
