I am unhappy with the quality of service Straight Talk provided me 22-23 July 2022. I have been a faithful Straight Talk customer for 15 years, having purchased several phones through Straight Talk, as well as a long history of automatic monthly plans for three lines. Hence, I was surprised to learn my cell phone service had been disconnected on or about 22 July 2022. My thoughts were that I made a phone plan error when I purchased a brand new iPhone 12 Mini through Straight Talk on 27 June 2022. I called Straight Talk on 23 July to reinstate my automatic phone plan for my phone and number. Imagine my astonishment and displeasure when I was told my phone and my phone number were “permanently disabled because I sent group text messages, and it can never be used again.” The representative told me very harshly that I violated the terms and conditions. I went through the terms and conditions. It states nothing about group text messages. What is especially perplexing is that the FAQs on Straight Talk’s website clearly states group text messages are allowed, giving further instructions how to send them. Having absolutely not violated the terms and conditions, my brand new phone and very established phone number have been arbitrarily disabled and this is simply an unsatisfactory level of quality service and support. Losing the ability to call and text with family, friends and co-workers in 2022 is crippling, not to mention the loss of the use of a brand new $541 phone. While I have dealt with many hours of frustration with Straight Talk and as I have already changed carriers due to the indiscriminate disabling of my 25-day old phone and my 15 year old phone number (disallowing portability of my number),
Desired outcome: At this point, I would just like Straight Talk reimburse me $541 for the phone I just purchased from them.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

Hi, how r u? Even if nothing is done I want 2 call this company out for what they r. My phone was stolen and I called straight talk customer service and a lady told me that I qualify for a replacement phone( I still have the ticket number# [protected]) She said it would arrive in 7 to 10 business days. When 2 weeks was coming 2 an end I called again, this time I spoke with a man. He informed me that I didn't qualify and that I would have 2 purchase a phone. Wow! ( Horrible Customer Service ) Im a single mom and I can't afford 2 buy a phone nor a minute card and if I was given the right information I could've went with other options that's for me but straight talk never gave me that option. OK, fine, I went with option 2. I will just use another phone company that will provide me with free service( Government Lifeline Service ) I can't use that service because straight talk will only unlock my phone if I had service with them for a year even though this is my phone that I bought with my money😡🤬😡🤬😡. That is blackmail and the fact that this company has made it legal disgust me. Straight talk is a horrible company. All they gave me was false information, the run-a-rounds and now a phone that I purchased but can't be used because I no longer need their service, what a joke. Furthermore, your customer service representive staff is horrible. I no longer want 2 have anything 2 do with straight talk and to avoid mg friends experiencing the same thing I will be informing them not 2 waste their time. I started off loving Straight talk but somewhere along the way they valued customers service less and less and because of that I never want 2 deal with Straight talk again. Thank u for listening
Desired outcome: It would be nice if they could unlock my phone r send me a free phone like they said they would but honestly I don't expect nothing from these people
