I had been using Straight talk for about half a year and everything seems OK ... until now. On 05.31 I called Straight Talk and payed them my monthly bill from debit card. Today, I found out, that they they billed my credit card, too, almost double amount more. They couldn't resolve issue through the chat, they couldn't even find my account not with my number, not with SIM card number, so they called me back. The elderly woman, who talked to me, mumbled very quickly. I gave her all the information she asked for, got something reassuring as an answer, then she hang up on me, without giving me a chance to ask her anything. When I wanted to call them back, I found out that my phone is completely disconnected, no calls, no texts and I can call only 911. I went back online from my PC, hoping to straighten out the situation through their chat. Nothing doing. They told me to give them the phone number where they can call me, but I have only ONE phone, where I will get them another line?!
This is the conversation that followed:
Them - "you need to speak with our voice representative to provide those information and to help you bout your service since in char our tolls is just limited."
Me - "But I can't talk to anybody BECAUSE my phone is disconnected! You customer assistant put me into catch 22. My phone is off, but you can't activate it because you need to call me. What can I do?!"
Them - "Please contact us once you have an alternate line since in chat we are able to process this on our end.

I understand, that they can't know about this, but it is only 5 days since I was discharged from the hospital with a very serious diagnosis. Now, thanks to them, I can't even call my doctor if something happens. I am disputing both charges and getting a new SIM card from another company! This is simply outrageous!
Desired outcome: I want my account restored, money to my credit card returned. Apologies would be nice, too.
