We purchased our leather couch and loveseat for over $6000 on 12/31/2020. We also purchase the 5 year Montage insurance for this couch and loveseat. We didn’t receive the couch and loveseat until mid to late January of 2021. Within late 2021 we noticed a few cracks were appearing in the material on a corner of the couch. These cracks gradually increased in size and numbers. At first we referred to the montage warranty for repairs or replacement. After several months we were informed that montage warranty does not cover the material. At this point we contacted our Lazboy store of purchase. For close to a year we have been going back and forth with Lazboy to get repairs or replacement. After numerous months of going back and forth Lazboy agent agreed to give us a full refund for the couch but only 35% of the value of the loveseat. I find this to be unacceptable. We are unable to get the couch repaired. Also we are unable to match the loveseat with any other Lazboy furnitures. My wife and I are very unhappy to have spent so much money and time with this. The White’s furniture gallery which is a Lazboy dealer has been very accommodating and trying to help us but Lazboy agent does not seem to understand our circumstances. How would they feel if they were in our situation?
Desired outcome: Full replacement with an equivalent set.
