I went to the Jewel in East Moline, Illinois. I attempted to clip the U coupons on the app on my phone, did not show up to clip. At check out asked about it and said needed the coupon. So I told them forget it. So came home tried again still didn’t show up. Used the app to connect to customer service. Agent said that the coupons end at 8am the last day of the sale. That is not posted anywhere in the adds, and all the signs are still up at the store. These u coupons are terrible. The app is terrible. A large majority of your customers are elderly and they can’t use them, my mom being one of them, you should still honor physical coupons. The agent on the app was no help and was actually really creepy asking for my name and telling me my name was beautiful, totally deflecting my desire to lodge a complaint. Jewel used to be a good store but now everything is terrible. Would rather shop at Walmart! And that is not saying much. Better get your act together or you will go the way of so many other stores lately. Closing!

I shopped at this Jewel today 8/14/19
I purchased 2 items that had sales tags
HNZ NS Ketchup 29.5oz sticker said 2 for $6.00
Wrigley Cobalt gum sticker said 4 for $5.00
I was charged $5.99 for the Ketchup and $1.59 for each gum
After checking my receipt in the afternoon I went back to Jewel. The young man who took care of me told me neither item was on sale. I proceeded to tell him there was a person in the aisle of the ketchup on the floor I assume doing price changes. I told him there was no way I would pay full price for Ketchup. Felt he was rude and not very customer friendly. He told me return the items for a refund!
Not happy and I shop at Jewel quite frequently...
