Today, Saturday, Nov 16, 2019 at about 12 noon I walked up to the deli counter at Jewel in Lemont, IL. There were three employees and one person was being helped. I was next and stood there and waited. In the meantime another woman walked up about 3 minutes after I did and the deli worker took her order right away and she KNEW I was next. It was obvious she knew this woman. Then the deli worker proceeded to talk to her co-worker in another language. It was obvious they were talking about me. She was totally rude and condescending and the whole thing made me uncomfortable. She couldn't even get my order the way I wanted. She wasn't even sure if she had pulled the right meat out - she had to look it over with her co-worker friend. I'm not even sure I got the right meat. 1 pound of London Broil sliced thin. I guess slicing it thin would have taken too long for her. Really I didn't even want to take it by the end of it all but I did.
