So each week normally on Wednesday I stop to have dinner. On April 20 I stop got seated and a Black lady waited on me. I order Chicken and Dumplings with an extra Dumpling and apples with water. Less than 5 minutes another guy came in and sat one table away from me. He order the same meal except he had corn instead of apples and with coffee. About 7 minutes later this guy got his order first. The waitress came to tell me it would be out soon when I asked why he had the same thing was served first? I wonder is it because I had a black waitress? Does the cook not like this woman? I almost left. I know my order when in first. There is really something wrong. Well this week I have decided to not go anymore. There are to many restrurants out there to be treated like this.
Desired outcome: Do desire anything. I told cashier he apology and the other two customers agree I should have walked out. Well just make better place to eat.
Cracker Barrel - Wait time / wrong food / cold food
I've worked in the food industry and managed a store/restaurant. I know it's hard to find help in today's world, but what happened was not acceptable. This location had plenty of help. You could see all the cooks and employees and also heard that this cracker barrel had plenty of help unlike other locations. I ordered online on December 22nd around noon for a pickup at 1pm on December 23rd. This order was for my families Christmas meal on December 23rd, in which we were to eat at 4. I felt that gave me plenty of time to pick up the meal (which was to help with stress of preparing) and be able to get home to set up meal and be able to spend time with my family. A huge reason for ordering our meal was to be able to spend more time with my family and not stress of preparing. Well, I got off work at 12:30, showed up at 1 (the time I asked for it to be done) and when I got there I was told maybe another 20 minutes. I was ok with that. So I ended up doing some shopping while waiting. Almost an hour went by and I asked about my order and the cashier said she will check. She was very nice. She said they are about done, waiting on gravy to be placed in container. I said ok. At this time, it was a little after 2. As I stood there watching several people place to go orders and get their order and leave, I was starting to get upset. About 3:00 pm (2 HRS PAST THE TIME I ASKED FOR MY ORDER TO BE READY AND ORDERED ONLINE 24 HRS IN ADVANCE) I'm still waiting. At this point, I'm crying because I'm supposed to be home enjoying time with my family while I'm getting calls from them asking where I am and wondering what the hold up was. Also, it takes me 30 min to get home from this location. I'm crying while still waiting. I'm a complete mess at this point, knowing I'm supposed to be enjoying time with my family. My daughter keeps telling me to leave and they will just order pizza and have it delivered. I then asked a different cashier because the other one's shift was up if she knew how much longer and she went back and asked, came back and said they are checking and making sure they have everything now and should just be a couple more minutes. I called my daughter and said I was told just a couple more minutes. At 3:40, I finally receive my order. 2 hrs and 40 minutes of waiting for a meal I ordered 24 hrs in advance. I get home and all my family had been waiting on me and just as upset as I was. Picking up this order when I got off work at 12:30 and pick it up by 1 was going to give me time to go home, prepare tables and get food set up for our family Christmas but was supposed to turn out to be a stress free day, spending time with my family without having to cook ended up with me in tears, not being able to spend any time with my family and having to eat quickly because some family members had to leave by 6. I didn't get home till almost 430, had to prepare the tables and set up the food, therefore didn't get to eat till around 530 and the family that had to leave by 6 had to take their presents with them because they had no time left to open presents with the rest of us.
I had ordered to have plates and napkins with the order, and there were none. The biscuits were cold and dry, I had ordered the chocolate pecan pie (my son's favorite) and received a regular pecan pie instead (my son was looking forward to that pie) AND I had ordered a sugar cured ham meal AND a country ham meal and both were country ham.
I'm not a complainer. I'm always the one saying it's ok, no problem and understanding, but all this was UNACCEPTABLE!
As I write this at 4am in the morning on Christmas Eve, I'm in tears because what was to be a stress free day spending time with my family ended up being a disaster.
There was also a charge on my bank account of 12.90 the same time I ordered my meal on December 22nd. I didn't order anything for that amount.
Desired outcome: 12.90 credited back since I did not purchase anything for that amount. I would like for someone to do whatever possible about the charge of 304.70 for the meal b/c I do not feel that I should be charged.

Hello. I worked in several kitchens and you need to understand the kitchen process before you blame it on the Black Lady!
When a waitress places and order and the two tables have similar order, your dumplings could’ve caused your order delay due to preparation issues or perhaps one cook was preparing your dish and was SLOWERVthan the other guys dish.
It’s so many different scenarios regarding the food, hearing, availability, the help, etc..
NOTHING TO DO WITH HER SKIN COLOR!
Think about it before you blame your waitress. That kitchen has to make one to 30:different plates at a time.
Learn to be patient! . . . And kind! Pat
