I went to the NTB at 7300 Washington Avenue in New Orleans. I have been bringing my care there for a couple years, I bought my entire set of tires from this location as well as some service work for more than $1300.00. I recently went into the location, I had an appointment for 5pm on a Friday. My front right tire had a nail or something in it. I was told the tire had been patched twice, and they weren't comfortable patching it a third time. So the alternative was to purchase another tire. I said okay, let's do it. However, the tire I needed wasn't on site and I needed to return n Monday for the tire to be replace. Luckily for me that Monday was Martin Luther King Day holiday, and I was off work. I called around 8am and I was told the tire delivery had not been made and call back after 12. I called and was told the tire was in, but I would need to leave my vehicle and would be repaired before closing. The NTB representative I spoke with was rude, and I explained that I was following up on an appointment from the Friday before, and I couldn't leave my car. I decided to go into the location to speak with a manager. When I arrived, I asked for the store's manager, and the person I spoke with on the earlier phone call, whose name was Abad, left the room, returned shortly and told me the manaeger couldn't talk with me because he was doing a brake job, So, I was unable to speak the manager of that location. I left, and tried calling another NTB location to get information for a Regional Office to report this occurrence, and I spoke with a young man by the name of Christian, who worked at the Clearview Parkway location. He then caled the Washington Avenue Store, then returned to our conversation, and told me he would order my tire and make the repair for me on Tuesday. Well, I could leave work erly until Thursday or Friday, I'm not sure, but Christian, took care of my repair.. I have worked for a family owned and operated HVAC company for 17 years. I am fully aware of the type of customer service which needs to be applied in all types of situations, and I have never been more insulted with level or lack of customer service I received at the Washington Avenue location. I am fully aware that location services a great deal more Africian Americans, and I feel certain that level of very poor customer service, would not fly well with the Clearview location or any other location. I will never return to, or reccommend that location to anyone of my family member or friends.
Desired outcome: An apology as well as corrective action for the store Manager whose name is Nate, as well as the NTB customer rep named Abad.
