I went to pick up an online order and was refused my order so I asked for a refund or for them to cancel the order as I had already paid for it and I was told no.
I asked Hunter the associate to get a manager and the female manager said she would not give me my order and also would not cancel it til I came back to talk to someone the next day.
She said I had used the save30 promo code more then once and since I did that I could not get my order or get it cancelled but could return the next day to talk to someone else about it.
I asked her to cancel the order immediately or call the police because I was not leaving until they did.
She said to call the order and as I left I saw a table with flyers on it and stopped to look at them.
The manager, Hunter, and the pink haired attendant at the deli/rotisserie Chicken counter were all talking about me and as they laughed and made fun of me they started to say some very harsh words and called me names..
As I stood listening it started to hurt my feelings and I was crying..
I came from around the corner and told them what they were doing was very wrong and if they were going to be that mean and hurtful they should wait til breaktime to gossip and say mean stuff about me.
I know I was wrong to use the promo code more then once but it does not say that on the website, it says you can use it on your first pick up order. I used it on my first pick up order and did not understand I could not use it on another pickup order..
I apologized and told them to cancel the order but they at first would not cancel or give me the order I had already paid for..
I cried after hearing what they said about me, I am poor, I do live off very little money after I pay my rent and electric $941 is my SSI a month and my rent is $750 out of that so I do try to save money as much as I can.
Hunter, the pink hair lady, and the female manager really need to apologize to me and please tell them to not say mean things or make fun of future customers.
This Shaw's at 353 main st. Bangor, ME 04401 IS the only place I shop.
I don't drive as I am disabled so I walk 2 miles to get there. I spend my entire paycheck here and get all my prescriptions here. I am a poor but very good customer and have loved shopping here for years. I very rarely complain but its almost Christmas and how I was treated was very mean, so mean I cried and if I had not been around the corner I would not have heard these three employees. Please don't let them do this to other customers and get back to me about this asap.

The photo attached are the lady who was saying mean stuff and as I walked out said wahh wahh cause I was crying.. teasing me saying I was a baby and her manager did put her finger up to her own lips and said sush 🤫but the manager and hunter were also saying and talking bad about me because they did not know I was still in the building as I stopped by the table near the pick up station to look at the pamphlets and Christmas flyers they made me cry and I was composing myself from crying.
They thought I left and that's not ok because that means they talk about a lot of local customers badly behind their back which is behavior that should be refrained til they are on break and can talk privately to each other and say mean and bad things about customers.
