I renovated my kitchen in october 2018 and I purchased a new appliances. I selected a jennair dual fuel stove because my previous jennair stove (from circa 1987) worked and cleaned like a breeze! I registered the stove with jennair. Considering the age of the stove and how wonderfully the self cleaning cycle worked, I elected to purchase another jennair stove — this one has 'aqua lift' cleaning technology. It is a complete disappointment. I 'cleaned' my oven 6 times yesterday due to grease spillage from a standing rib roast. It is not clean. I follow the directions I received with my stove. Results = try again. Aqua lift simply does not work. And the fact that I can't use any oven cleaner (which I have never had to use in my life), makes this doubly confounding. I am disgusted with the inside of my oven — it looks like a murder scene that hasn't been cleaned up (and can't be cleaned up). I spent $3, 099.00 for this stove and the fact that it doesn't have a self cleaning option that works (like my stove from 1987) is unacceptable. Jennair, you should be ashamed for peddling something like aqua lift — knowing that it just doesn't work. I won't ever purchase another appliance from jennair or from whirlpool.
Desired outcome: The desirable resolution of my complaint is to be refunded for my purchase (you can have the stove) and I will buy another with a tried and true self cleaning (high heat) feature.
