I interviewed for a job. I have 36 years experience. I was completely honest. On my first interview the manager was great. I am in the process of trying to own my own bar and resteraunt. Nothing will happen with this for at least 4 months. I told him about it, he was excited for me and hoped I got it. Come back the next day for the second interview. She was pleasant untill I told her, then her attitude changed. Well we would have to cut your hours in September she said. I said yes but was still working 4 nights a week. No different then all of the college kids they had there training. My business wouldn't be open on holidays except for 1. So I had all open holidays. The interview went from good to bad. She said well I will have to talk to my GM about all of this and see what they say, and I will text you tonight no matter what. That was a week ago with no text. I feel like I was made to choose between working for them, or trying to buy my own business. Which like I said wasn't happening for at least 4 months if they accepted my offer. So for 4 months you could of had me every day. I don't feel it's right to make somebody feel like they have to choose from their own business or working for you. Nice way to put somebody down. I still need a job no matter what.
