Edible Arrangements - customer service

Thursday, may 6th, 2010, I ordered & paid for a mother's day arrangement. It came in a vase with red hearts & looked more valentines day than mom's day. I ordered the arrangement with a blue vase, & the clerk agreed, no problem, & no additional charge. Yep, when I went on sat. To pick it up it was in the "wrong vase". The same clerk was waiting on me & never spoke up that she didn't write the order up correctly while this whole incident took place!

The man takes the arrangement in the back. Comes out again saying this is the vase this order come in. I explained I pre-ordered the blue one. Another comes out & says something to the clerk & goes back.. .3 times now as I watch leaning against the cooler to get away from the register. The store was packed & I had backed away from the register.

Well, this fat, loud mouth woman (Can't use lady) came out with the arrangement in her hand screaming at the top of her lungs,
"this order comes in this vase & we did it correctly"!
I couldn't believe my ears! I happened to be by the door she came from & stepped up to her to ask her to lower her voice...
I never got the chance to say anything as this woman,
Screamed...
"get out of my face"! Did ya'll see that? Witnesses "she" got in my face!

I stepped back & she went towards the register, "still as loud as she could be & talking the whole time", saying:
"give her money back.
We don't want customers like you.

I ask to speak with the owner & even in a louder voice she screamed:
"i'm the owner!" and I want you out of my store!
You accosted me. I could call the police & have you arrested!

The statement about the police got to me! I quickly stated:
"don't bother, i'll call the police for you!
I know there is a corporate over you & I will contact them also"!

I stepped outside & waited for the southaven police to arrive. Well 2 officers showed up & I knew them both, as my sister worked with their dept. Closely when she was alive. As I was talking with the officers this loud mouth woman comes out with the arrangement waving it in the air:
"i tried to accommodate her we even put white chocolate on the order & "offered" her money back. (Recalled she demanded to give me my money back without every saying she would even give me a stupid blue vase) continuing to mouth, she got in my face, I have witnessess. " and waving papers at the policeman.

Get this, the policeman told her to shut up! He took the papers, looked them over, & stated to the owner,
Looks like your employee did not write up the order correctly! This does not show you have given her money back. These are copies of the receipt where she paid!
She was screaming, saying she gave me my money back & had never even run thru a credit up to this point! A man came out & stood behind the owner listening. After a few minutes, "he" went back into the store ran a credit & gave the police a refund ticket. She was going to keep my money, as well as treat me like dirt in front of a store full of people! Thank goodness the policeman caught her trick of deception. She started talking again and the policeman told her again to shut up as he didn't want to listen to her "###". I was shocked at this.
The owner went back inside & the policeman said:
"all this over a blue vase for a customer? Why didn't she just change it out?"
This was my same thought from the beginning!

Then the policeman said some thing that really got me:

"don't be ashamed for calling us. We have had to come to this store
4 or 5 times, and it's all because of this owner!"

Folks if she acts this way to the point police have had to be called 4 or 5 times before me...
Something is bad wrong with this store owner!

She does not deserve this communities business and our hard earned money thinking she can continue to act rude, crude, horrible, & any other way she wants with a customer!

Customers do not under any situation deserve this type of treatment!
So don't but yourself in any contact with this woman, as there is no telling what you will get!

When the owner came out "all" she had to do was make one statement & none of this would have happened:

" i'll be glad to change the vase if you don't mind waiting a moment"
