On 04/16/2023 - 2:24AM EST, I ordered 2 Spicy Chicken Sandwich Combos through DoorDash. The total cost paid was $31.30, including taxes/delivery. The delivery driver arrived at the Wendy’s location: 2933 East Way Dr, so they could deliver the food to 2219 Kilborne Dr. The drive-thru worker was rude to my delivery driver because he had an African accent. To deny the driver of service, Drive-Thru Worker kept trying to say that they were closed. The particular Wendy’s location wasn’t to close until 4:00AM, the driver confirmed they arrived there around 2:45AM to pick up the order. The order was to be cancelled but a refund wasn’t issued due to Wendy’s not cancelling it, DoorDash was under the impression that my order was still being prepped. I apologized to the delivery driver for the racist remarks the worker shouted at them.
