Ordered using the app, and paid online. What I ordered: 10 pc nugget meal with buffalo sauce and sweet and sour sauce, diet coke for the drink, a filet o fish meal with extra tartar sauce and a Diet Coke, a hamburger with extra pickles and extra onions, and a 13 pk of cookies. When I got to the window, they had to park me in spot 3. Shortly after, a worker came out and asked me for money for our order. I told him we had paid in the app. (They should’ve been able to see this on the screen). We waited a few more minutes and they brought our order out. When we got home, there was bbq sauce, no nuggets, and an extra hamburger we hadn’t ordered. I attempted repeatedly to call the store but as usual all I got was a busy signal. I had to drive back up there. I explained at the drive thru speaker. I pulled forward. At the window, they attempted to charge me again. I said no, and had to explain again. They finally got me the missing nuggets and correct sauces, but aside from a chipper “sorry about that” they offered nothing. Of course by the time I had driven back, waited in line, explained twice and drove home again, MY meal (which had been correct) was now stone cold. It would’ve taken what, 60 seconds, to check the order was correct the first time, This is a regular occurrence at this McDonald’s. And they never offer any options except come back and get it, nor do they offer you a complimentary anything to apologize. 😒. But hey, at least they remembered they had parked me this time. 🙄.
Desired outcome: check the order for accuracy, phone on hook so people can call, offer free item to compensate, offer to remake the entire order (so they have hot food) or refund the entire meal in addition to giving them the missing items.
